Ordered a $3000 couch they delivered the wrong color and then had me pay for a new delivery fee for the color that I originally asked for. Called me a liar and told me I was wrong that I never picked the color couch that I paid forRooms To Go

We are in receipt of this review.
On behalf of Rooms To Go, please express our apologies for any inconvenience.
Our office has reviewed their file. We show no revisions on their original sales order. In addition, our customer signed the sales in acceptance that everything was correct. On the sales order, it does state the furniture color is gray.
Every customer has the right to view their sales order prior to exiting the showroom.
We would not be able to refund the delivery fee as the furniture purchased and signed for was delivered.
We thank our customer for their feedback.

1 starThe products being sold are made in ****** and it is distributed with damages. Rooms to go customer service does not ensure their customers are satisfied with the products being sold. It takes 3 to 4 months to get the furniture delivered from the point of purchase.Review fromRebecca S

1 starWe purchased a sofa from rooms to go with an extended warranty last October. The cushions are falling apart, they sent replacements. Now the backs of the cushions are falling apart ( they are attached to the sofa). It looks awful! Customer service sent me to corporate, they told me it's the material. How can a big company knowing the material is faulty still be allowed to produce this product? I have two friends with the same so fa and the same problem. This sofa needs to be recalled! No apology, no empathy or anything while I received broken furniture from men who rolled my furniture up the stairs. Was told they are not letting me return it I just have to wait and accept new furniture. Would love to take my business elsewhereRooms To Go

As our office is concerned by the allegations expressed, we will be reviewing with our customer care management team to further investigate and address any issues should it be deemed necessary. Unfortunately, any information acquired is privileged and confidential and would not be released to the public but will be used to ensure a similar situation does not transpire in the future.
With respect to the furniture, we have reviewed the account in its entirety. Regrettably, the headboard was damaged upon delivery; however, it was the only piece from the order that was reported damaged by the delivery team and the customer. As part of the terms of sale, an exchange was generated in order to replace the damaged piece and resolve the issue. This was completed for the customer on 8.25.22. Although we sympathize with their concerns, we would not be able to comply with their request to do a straight return.

Purchased a bedroom suite in April of 2022. Chest was damaged and delivery reps took it back.
Second chest was delivered a month later. Draws were damaged. Service rep was supposed to
come and fix draws three weeks later; the day the rep was to come, got a call that the rep had
a family emergency. Set a date for another rep to come fix draws three weeks later.; day before
the second attempt to fix draws, got a call that rep contacted COVID;Rooms to Go set up a third attempt for rep to come out to repair draws, which is to be tomorrow Aug. 19, 2022. So you see
from the time of purchase to getting problem solved is taking over 4 months; and during this time
we were faithful in paying their bank every month for for past 4 months and didn't have use
of the Chest of draws all this time. I will never, REPEAT never recommend Rooms To Go to
anyone. I feel we should be compensated somewhat for the ordeal we had to go through with this company.

I have a horrible experience working with rooms to go customer service. I bought a bedroom set from rooms to go and when they delivered the side boards for the bed, there are extremely sharp edges side board and my wife and my toddler did hurt themselves while getting off the bed.
When I complained to rooms to go team, they sent a person to inspect who took pictures and said I will get call back from customer support team to replace/change options in next 2-3 days. With no calls for 10 days, I called customer support and explained my problem:
1) They were extremely rude and clearly mentioned that they can not cover this as it is upto their manufacturer's standard. I did not argue much and said it's fine if you don't want to hear customer's voice and consider your manufacturer's standards as a ground but let me share a feedback about it. My feedback was interrupted multiple times by the rude customer care staff who was on the defense and I definitely did not felt heard. When I asked for further escalation from supervisor, I was being told that I can only escalate via email to the same supervisor who was rude to me on phone. Basically, the escalation of the person goes to the person herself to resolve- That felt absolutely weird. Upon my continuous persistence, she gave me a postal mail escalation route and said there is not other email/phone escalation above her.
2) Next day, I get another back to back series of call from RoomsToGo customer service who told me that they need more details from me about how my wife and kid got hurt with this side board.
I tried to ask the purpose on why they're collecting details and the person rudely kept on repeating"What's your wife name" in a loop and said this is not to help you but only for us to file accident report.
I don't recommend RoomsToGo to anyone who likes to be treated with respect and believe that customer's voice/feedback is to be heard.Rooms To Go

As far as the alleged injury, protocol dictates our agents must inquire the details from the customer in order to provide to our claims office for further review if the customer mentions such issues.
With respect to their furniture, our records reflect the technician reviewed the design of the bed and deemed it was free from any defects and met the guidelines from the manufacturer. We had a service report run on this product and found no problems with this issue to date. However, we have been made aware an exchange for the damaged headboard was scheduled prior to the service with the customer for 9.01.22.

Hi Rooms To Go Team,
I appreciate you taking a note of this. As I clearly mentioned that my concern on this is not to object with your standard protocol but to share a feedback on how unprofessionally my feedback was handled by your customer support supervisor (who also claimed that she is the head of customer feedback and the only way to escalated further is to escalate to herself or send postal mail).
In addition, the customer care staff who visited my home to diagnose the furniture himself told me "yea, the edges are sharp".. He further mentioned that customer care team would call you in 2-3 days. I never received a call back to which I ended up calling after 10 days only to meet a rude customer care staff on the receiving end.
My complaint is about a customer experience I received from your customer care staff which was unprofessional, argumentative, rude and often interruptive. Please do listen to both days of phone recordings(one first complaint day and second day where you staff avalanched me with back to back phone calls only to repeatedly ask "What's your wife name?". Based on that I would let you make more sense out of it about the customer support staff I dealt with. The damaged headboard replacement is not and answer to this review. It was a damaged headboard which was to be replaced anyways.
Anyways, I shared this feedback for other customers to learn from my experience and decide for themselves. I'm personally not shopping anything in future from RoomsToGo with this customer service.Review fromRachel Naomi D

As an initial matter, we regret their concerns have not been addressed. However, we have reviewed the account in its entirety. Our records reflect the mattress was delivered on 4.13.22. We show no records of any verbal or written communication regarding any issues being reported until this review.
Rooms To Go offers a 1-year warranty against manufacturers defects. The manufacturer offers a longer limited warranty for the same. A "trial comfort" period is not offered nor do we advertise as such.
Our office has generated a service for the mattress. We will need to see the furniture in the home before any decision may be rendered. The customer may schedule their appointment through our customer care department at their earliest convenience.

Very poor customer service and bad quality. I purchase the living room sofa, cocktail table, side table and 2 single chair and paid $5000.I thought I will get good quality and all items came with defect. Now I am trying to call customer care and store manager, no one trying to take my call and they said that technician will come and based on the technician they will move forward. With respect to their situation, we have reviewed the account in its entirety. Our records reflect the furniture was delivered on 5.28.22. The customer called on 7.15.22 to report the fabric was loose on their sofa. No other issue was reported at that time. Service was scheduled and set out on 8.03.22. The store and our customer care department has spoken to the customer at length regarding their furniture. We show they were not happy with the repair; therefore, a courtesy exchange was authorized for the sofa. The customer canceled the exchange due to scheduling conflict. Since then, the exchange has not been rescheduled as the customer requested all of the furniture be exchanged if not wanted to return. That is not an option as the terms of sale is to repair or replace at our option. No issues were ever reported with any of the other items delivered. In view of this, service is required in order to evaluate the issues with the tables they mentioned on 8.16.22.
We have been made aware that a service is scheduled to evaluate the pieces on 9.22.22. A final decision will be rendered once this takes place. Our online complaint office has also given the customer this information.

Why rooms to go delivered defective goods and 70% goods are not in good condition.These items were not floor sample.They should learn how other furniture shop are.I never have complained with Nebraska and havertys.Also technician will come after 45 days which is not ideal timeframe.

1 starI had bought a furniture and had it for a year the material on the sofa started to unravel. Very poor craftsmanship. Still to this day they have not even got back with me and come apart. after I sent them a picture of the furniture. ************* instead sends me letters after letters asking if my problem has been resolved. I ordered a sofa that was delivered 10/29/21 to my home in GA. It went immediately onto a moving truck for a work apartment in Chicago. It was unloaded 11/4/21. It was a great, comfy couch for 9 months until the frame under one of the legs gave out. Note: I live alone & travel 60% of the time, so it was barely used. Rooms to Go is not honoring their warranty because 'it was moved from it's delivery location' - even though it was never used there. The supervisor said I can't prove it wasn't damaged in moving (which I can as I have photos of it in Chicago in perfect condition starting Nov 4, 2021) and then she said it probably broke because people sat on it (well, it's a couch - true statement!). Unbelievable that they are not standing behind the quality of their furniture on a technicality and unbelievable that the sofa only lasted 9 months and was barely used!Rooms To Go

We understand the customer moved out of state; however, furniture is covered for 1-year against manufacturer's defects at the delivery location as stated on the terms of the contract they agreed to. For this reason, it is important customers review their product upon delivery to ensure it is complete, correct and/or undamaged if they intend to move it elsewhere. Unfortunately, we do not service Illinois and are unable to provide any course of action as their warranty is null and void.
