I called the store to order a couch (4 piece sectional) in which I was told had a chaise lounge. In fact I spoke with the sales person on more than one occasion going over what I was looking to purchase. I also ordered an ottoman. After doing so I decided that I didn't need the ottoman so I called and canceled the extra piece of furniture, yet they delivered it anyway. I was asked if I wanted to have them put the sectional together or do it myself. The fee was $199.00 for assembly. To avoid this charge I thought I would put it together myself. In that same conversation, I was told because of where I live, I had to pay the $199.00 and the driver would assemble. Also, they couldn't deliver on a day that I was off from work as they only deliver on Monday's. So, I set the delivery for a Monday and then received an email stating that they had to deliver the next day, Tuesday. So much for only able to deliver on a Monday. Since I had to work on the day it was delivered I asked my next door neighbor to allow them access. When I got home from work I was in shock to say the least. The couch was not put together and all the pillows were not how they should be. I immediately called their corporate office, another dis-appointment! Everything is the customers fault and or you need to call the store. I found screws and a bracket that the driver left under the couch. One of the seat pillows has a lump. If you need furniture do not buy from rooms to rent they are horrible. I wonder if ********* and **** know that this is who is representing their furniture. Very disappointed!!Rooms To Go

My concerns are as such! Not what I thought I was ordering after speaking with a sales *** on more than one occasion. Delivery set up was terrible in the fact that the sectional was just pieces along my wall. Pillows were not in their perspective places. Lumps in pillows. Corporate customer service extremely poor. Rude, everything is the customers fault or was told I needed to call the store. Canceled the ottoman, yet it was delivered.M. E.

The couch I bought was very poor quality. I live alone and within 2 months the couch began to pill. I called customer service and a man came out and acknowledged the pilling on one of the cushions and sent me another cushion by mail. The cushion was a different shade of blue. I called and complained and they said to submit pictures. I sent pictures three times but rooms to go never acknowledged the issue. They never called me back or made good on the issue. I called several times as well with no return phone call. Now the other two cushions are pilling as well and the sofa is only one year old. I gave up but I will never buy anything from rooms to go that has fabric again. Very poor qualify. It looked great in the store and the cushions in the store were so soft and comfortable. The cushions that I received were not the same quality. They told me that as I sit on the sofa, the cushions would get soft like the ones in the store. Ummm, I don't think so. They have a model in the store that is a totally different quality than the ones you receive at home. Really shady. I purchased my product around October of 2023. I am embarrassed to have people sit on my sofa because when you run your hand on it, it feels like bumps all over and it feels like dirt when it is actually the sofa pilling everywhere. What a shame and waste of a lot of money.Rooms To Go

My wife and I came in on Black Friday 11/29 in search of a king bedroom set. We were wanting to upgrade from a queen to a king, which is what we told our sales associate for the reason we were there. After going and buying a king mattress, we were ready to buy a set in store that day. We wanted a king set in a wood color. Our sales associate showed us on his tablet that he was going to place an order for a white queen set. we corrected him. He apologized and corrected it to King. While we were in line to purchase the set, we had to correct him multiple times to King. He showed us the tablet which said King set again after correction. We rang up, set up a delivery date, and paid a discounted rate with the Black Friday deals and free shipping. Rooms to Go then called us yesterday stating they were confirming a delivery for a queen set. We told them that was wrong and we were told when we were ringing up that we were buying a King set. We ended up talking to two associate managers who basically told us we would have to pay $300 for an upgrade AND pay shipping instead of the $112 upgrade and free shipping black friday deal. They basically told us that they would not honor the Black Friday deal and if we had a problem with that we could cancel the order. Which we did. Both associate managers were extremely rude and unprofessional, and completely unwilling to work with us on a problem that was literally their fault. I'm not sure what customer service training they got, but we were misled on a product that we purchased, and then told we would have to fork up $500 to correct THEIR issue, or get lost because it was no longer Black Friday, leaving us now scrambling for another set no longer on Black Friday deals. They wasted our time and our money, and I will never ever shop at another rooms to go if this is how their business deals with issues.Rooms To Go

I followed up with this email and was contacted over the phone. I spoke with customer service multiple times and was told there is no option for resolution unless I want to pay the full price above. Again, there is no point contacting customer service or management again because they simply will not honor this deal for something they made a mistake on. Do not buy from this company. They delivered a piece of furniture with a screw not fully installed making marks on my living room floor. Brand new home. I filed a claim calls & emails in August ( the same day of delivery)finally an answer today 11/25 denied. Saying by moving the furniture " may have loosen the hardware" hardware meaning the screw. How does a screw get loosed by moving the furniture? Do better!!Rooms To Go

Rooms to go, To be blunt the further assistance I would need would be the repair of my living room floor or at least any effort from the company . I have reached out in person and online to Rooms to Go regarding a purchase to replace a glass center for a living room cocktail table, (bought less than 2 yrs. ago), which unexpectedly shattered all over my floor. The table is not well designed and the glass has no support and only sits on the edge of the frame. I am, needless to say, disappointed that they would not sell me this piece as I'm left with just a frame of the table sitting in my living room. I do not recommend this brown/espresso cocktail table, as it is flimsy made and be wary if you have kids and pets.Rooms To Go

Very poor quality, every item came defective and then was replaced with also defective items. Finally, technician comes out, fixed wobbly chairs and a scratch on one of the tables. However, he concluded that the couch was not defective. That couch is crooked and has a huge gap on one side of it. Total c*** So now, due to his report, I'm stuck with a crooked couch. My bed post came with a scratch but I don't even care and one of the parts fell out from dresser where delivery guys just left it on the floor with a huge nail sticking out of it.And! My other table is scheduled to be re-delivered in 3 months! The worst experience ever! All the time I had to take off work for these utterly disappointing outcomes. When you sell someone a crooked couch, it is DEFECTIVE!!!! I will complain on every website and warn everyone to never buy anything from ***.Rooms To Go

My review was removed ? So here it goes again. Purchased a $4k couch on Saturday from rooms to go and picked up due to needing it asap, horrible experience so far. Went to pick up the items and was told it would take 30 minutes and ended up waiting 2hrs for load. Patiently purchased a dining set since while waiting. Got home and contacted them immediately due to a rip found in the bottom on the couch exposing the insides of the couch. From being able to see the inside I can tell couch is not good quality. Was told no refund only a partial ***lacement would be sent out and rushed on the 27th. On the 26th received text that the ***lacement piece was ordered for 12/3. It was pointed out by someone else that the couch was shedding the night of but I was really focused on the gaping rip. I sat down for myself and realized the fabric is shedding, covering back of shirt and shoulders in fur when you sit down. Called them back. That sunday I was told by a store *** on the phone that there shouldnt be an issue taking it back. Then I was contacted by a customer care that said the order is non-refundable and they only do ***lacements for piece with tear. Sent video. Was told to call the store about exchange. I did and they said 20% restocking fee + delivery charge so additional $1,000 due to them selling shedding couches. They said they will see if the restocking fee can be waived. I have not heard back from anyone. what I do know is I advise against dealing with this company due to their shady warranty verbiage that I did not see before . ************* told me verbatim no refunds even on products with manufacturing defects. They stand behind defective products and purposely words their warranty to exclude the issues they know their customers experience with their products. There are other options out there and I wish I would have read reviews of this company before buying. but I will be breaking down their shady business practices on social media so people are aware.Rooms To Go

Needed couch asap, upcoming hosting. Did sales process online and went to pay. Talked to sales rep about black friday deals, rep sent me deal and link to email to pay for the order. While paying, he clarified that upon review the couch would come split, one not until 2025 and suggested a diff couch that was available. never seen this couch so we went to nearest location 45 mins away and took a look at the couch. Not to buy but to look at the couch. Multiple reps approached but we declined bc we had an online agent already. 4th or 5th agent asked how they could help (there were too many agents walking around looking for customers). we explained that we’re trying to compare the size of our original couch . He helped, we told him he could send the link to pay online and we will decide later. We left. Due to time constraints we eventually decided on couch and paid via email link. Set up pickup arrangement ($) at a warehouse 1 hr away and waited 2hr for the couch despite arriving for pickup at 6. To our dismay the purchase came with a defect as the bottom of a key piece was ripped open material dragging and the inside of the couch exposed. We decided the poor construction was not worth the $4k* paid, time wasted nor time required to coordinate a solution. Requested return. Online sales have 48 hours return policy. Store informed us it is store sale, they don’t have the same online policy and it will be no return even with defect and that they would only allow exchange but Id have to pickup or they’d come out to repair likely after holidays. This was too late for my hosting starting on 11/26 plus I felt cheated to not have received satisfactory quality to begin. After seeing the exposed insides , it’s not good quality. Don’t even want it. They eventually had a manager call me to say no returns but that they can send a new piece 27th. So I’ll be exchanging couches out while company is here. Had 4 more rooms to complete in my new home but I won’t shop rooms2go againRooms To Go

I wish I could have read these reviews before ordering. Our home burned down and we ordered our 2 boys' bedroom suits from rooms to go on Sept 2nd with a delivery date showing November 14th. We originally had the furniture going to a family member's house because we were still in temporary housing and hadn't closed on our new home. The week of Halloween we called and tried to have the furniture delivered to our new home so we wouldn't have to transfer it from one home to the other, they originally agreed and weren't going to charge us extra or move the delivery date. Then 3 days later, they called and said we owed them over 300$ for changing the delivery address and it would now be a long distance, so we said forget it and just have it delivered to the original address they then told us that would move the delivery to November 18th so we agreed. On November 18th we called to verify the time someone would deliver since it needed a signature to which we were told the new delivery date was November 21st. We then told them that this was unacceptable to keep moving the dates on us as it needed a signature and we had people waiting on that furniture for us, customer service told us that it was a mix-up on their website and we should have never been told November 18th because they don't have a truck that delivers in our area on Mondays. I explained that was their mess up and they should do better and still deliver our furniture where I was pretty much told tough luck and no solution was provided at all. Now it is November 21st and they just called saying the truck broke down and we could expect our furniture anywhere between 5-9 PM. It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with them to get 2 bedroom suites that were ordered over 2 months ago and calling their customer service number does nothing because they are pretty much there to tell you sorry not resolve any issues you have.Rooms To Go
