      I called into American Power and Gas spoke to *************** was marvelous. He explained what had happened and put in a refund for me then sent me over to the rate department and spoke to ******** who was also marvelous. Great experience for me dealing with this company!

      My daughter, a minor and of Hispanic/Latino descent like me, was excited to try this restaurant after finding it online. Upon arrival on June 27, 2025, we were greeted by a staff member who, in my opinion, appeared visibly stressed and unwelcoming. Despite this, we decided to stay. Due to my daughter’s severe food allergies, I asked a few questions about the menu. The server, Nancy, cut me off mid-sentence, stating she needed to assist another table. Her tone felt impatient, and I perceived her behavior as dismissive. I shared that her approach made us feel uncomfortable, especially as we did not appear to share the same background as the other patrons present. When I asked to speak to a manager, she said she was the manager. I then requested for another server to continue our service in hopes of salvaging the dining experience. Shortly after, a man (later identified to me as Vito Dragonetti) approached our table and, in what I perceived as a hostile tone, asked, “Who wants to speak to the owner?” I immediately extended my hand and politely introduced myself, stating, “I would like to speak to the owner. Are you the owner?” He left my hand extended for several seconds and finally replied sarcastically, “Maybe I am, maybe I am not.” In my opinion, he began speaking condescendingly and aggressively asking, “Can’t you read a menu? The names and ingredients are right there! Can’t you read it? When I calmly expressed that it felt as though we were not welcome, he yelled, used profanity in front of my daughter and others, saying, “Get up and get out of my restaurant. Get the F-out!” We immediately left, feeling humiliated and deeply shaken. As a mother, it was heartbreaking to see my child distressed by what should have been a nice dining experience. In my opinion, the behavior we encountered was racist and didn't reflect respectful service. I have reported this incident to the Florida Commission on Human Relations in hopes that no other family experiences what we did.

      I got two back-to-back calls from this company today. I ignored the first, but since the second call was from a different number, I was worried it was important and maybe someone really needed to reach me. As soon as I answered, I hear ******* on the other end telling me he was from American Power & Gas and that there was something wrong on the 2nd page of my electric bill. Red flag. I told him I didn't have it near me and he said he'd wait while I found it. I told him to give me his number and I'd call him back. Of course I had no intention of doing so. I blocked both numbers that looked like they were from my area but actually came up as suspected spam on my phone. I'm smart enough to not get involved with them, but I feel really bad for those who are duped because of such a convincing way they have of wording things. I shut him down before he could get started. Do your research, people. Don't ever give information to anyone...this company may be real, but what about the next convincing call you get?

      CORRECTION Earlier I called ********** thieves due to tripling+ of my gas & electric rates. I flipped out way too fast (got bill on Fri night, should have waited before crying). ****** in **** service was great. Company is issuing a refund & lowered my rate almost back to where it was. So Amer P &G Isn't bad at all

      I agree with other reviewers about the heavy-handed telemarketing reps from American Power & Gas, LLC. A 'supervisor' called back after I told the rep I wasn't interested & hung up. A long time spent on nothing. When I quoted reviews from the BBB, I was told there were other "American Power & Gas companies".

      Please keep your distance from this company, it's a scam, they told me that they are reducing the costs for me, and not only they did not reduce my costs but they charged me 4 times more, after a month I called them to close the account with them, and they say ok and I got a confirmation number to close the account, and they They still continued to charge me two months later,And when I called again they said that they can only close the account at the end of a year, even though I was told that it is without a contract, and that it is month to month...Friends, beware of them, they are really thieves, even though they know how to convince you to move to them, BTW anyone who wants is welcome to communicate with me, I will show you black and white how much they stole from me, and now I am waiting to receive a refund for all these months, and if I don't receive it, I will submit a lawsuit (those who want to join the lawsuit should talk to me)

      Where to begin? First they hire pushy people to convince potential customers/victims that they care about saving them money on their electric bill. Slowly but surely they creep up their kw/hr charge. Our bill over night went from an already ridiculous $300/mo to $565!! We called our electric company who showed us we were now being charged 26 cents/kw hr! Up from the 9 cens it had been. As soon as we cancelled we started getting calls from rude agents who tell us theyll wait while we grab our electric bill real quick, then talk over us so we cant get a word in. Like I carry my electric bill with me to work?? They throw all these numbers out that dont make any sense so finally I told them Im not taking any more calls. Well an hr later someone else calls and says they were talking to my wife but ***** had a bad connection so they called me. Hmm. I said well you need to talk to my wife coz she has the bill at home and Im at work. Then they said shes on our no-call list so we cant call her. Hello? You said you were just talking to her and now shes on a no-call list? Which is it? Not to mention their calls come up potential spam. This is a predatory operation. It is a scam! Im glad to start **** without them on my payroll!

      Received my first 2 electric bills with American Power and Gas as the provider. They advertised their service as a cost savings. Nothing further from the truth. Their KWh rate is $0.21 ! My current provider is $0.09. I just called to cancel. They tried to keep me by lowering the rate to $0.11 per KWh. I asked why its not that in the first place. No reasonable explanation - simply a scam. If this company calls, hang up the phone!

      She continuously called from all sorts of different numbers until I picked up the phone, as if I am not working during the day to begin with. I told her I was all good, staying where I was and that I did some research, and the reviews weren't good for them. She stated they had a 5 star rating with the BBB, so I googled that just now, and to my un-shockingly surprise, they have worse reviews here then when I googled the 800 number. Shame!!!
