Transaction date was 01/24/2024. I payed them *****. They were to provide me a water bottle and several flavors. I attempted to cancel my order at 7 am the next day on 01/25. They have a number to call but you cant actually get through to anyone. I emailed them later on when I got a chance, around 1pm. The response I got was at 6:29pm stating it has already shipped and they do not issue returns, refunds, or cancellations. Meanwhile I got the shipping email 3 days later (today) as one would expect for normal shipping time, rather than within a 24 hour period. We have been engaging in a back and forth and they are refusing to do anything but offer a 5$ credit for their products. They have shady business practices and do not care about their customers. They also seem to enjoy lying.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: It is essentially the same response that I complained about in the first place and does not address my concerns. They have offered a small gift card or a few free "sips" which would require placing another order and paying for shipping most likely. That does not resolve the issue. I attempted to cancel several days before the order shipped and was lied to about it already being shipped. I was not allowed to cancel despite arguing that it had not yet shipped because each time they responded they tried to keep saying it was shipped already but it was not which wasted time until ultimately, on Saturday (2 days after contacting them about cancelling).

On January 6th, I bought 13 flavor cartridges for my water bottle. The package I received looked and smelt tampered with. It smelt awful- like mildew/ rotten material/ cartridges. I also recieved cartridges that the package was already open. I reached out, and on January 18th, Cirkul sent me a new shipment of them. I did recieve them, but they still smelt rotten- and smelt of mildew. I reached out to customer service again, via email. Because I had a hard time getting anyone on the phone. The gal said there was nothing else they could do for me. I'm upset. I want my $40 dollars back. I offered to send them all back. She said no. She said she can't help me. I want my money back. I don't want free flavorings. I don't trust them.Business Response

I was sent a defective product. I informed them the day I received the item. I was told the item was discontinued and I could not get a refund or replacement. I was offered a mismatched lower quality part to fix the product.Business Response

After several months of back and forth communication, a resolution was not offered until a complaint was filed with the BBB. While I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, I believe the poor business practices should be noted.

I saw that Cirkul had be running a deal where if you spend $35 you get a free metal bottle with your order, so I placed an order on January 18th. I got my order today (Jan 23rd) and all was well until I tried the flavor pods. All of them had this lingering chemical taste that didn't taste like something that should be in my drinking water, and it didn't matter which setting I had the water on, it still tasted like chemicals. I thought it was just the pod I was using, so I tried another one and the same chemical taste was there, but worse, and same with the rest of the flavor pods. I'm disappointed in them and wished that their customer service was better.Business Response

I do like the flavors I have tried. Complain is the I tot my bottle around in a bag. Often it falls over, then leaks on everything in the tot. Is there a good solution to this issue?Business Response

The Cirkul cartridges become moldy. This is NOT healthy. I reached out to Cirkul and NEVER received a response. Cirkul needs to fix this issue as it can be a health problem.Business Response

Jan 16, **** contacted cirkul to cancel my subscription but they will only delay it a month or 2 and will not cancel. I cannot cancel on the website as it shows I do not have a subscription. agent says can delay but can't cancel. Informed them that any further charges will be reported to credit card company. Date of transaction--1/16/24 Order #******** Amount $19.99 I ordered a bottle on December 14, 2023 or there abouts and i received that just fine then on January 16, **** I received an email stating that they had shipped an order of their Sips. I did not place this order nor did I authorize them to take the money from my bank account. I contacted them directly and they advised that there was nothing they could do about it. All I am asking for is a refund and i will gladly return the order when i get it. They advised that they do not do refunds and you can not return. This is the second time they have done this to me. I purchased a Cirkul bottle and various sips totaling $62.86 back on January 1st, ****. Tracking showed that it handed off from DHL to **** on January 9th and delivered on the 10th to my mailbox.We live in a condo and our mailboxes are too small for any packages to be put into them. We checked anyway and nothing was inside. I checked with my neighbors and was unable to locate it. After reaching out to Cirkul, they informed me to check my mailbox and walk around asking all of my neighbors in a multiple building, multi unit condo complex.After informing them that I couldn't, and requested that they file a shipping claim. They told me that they were unable to and I would have to do it, even though they're the shipper and ****.com's website clearly states "Either the sender or the recipient may file a claim for insured mail that is lost, arrived damaged, or was missing contents. The person filing must have the original mailing receipt."All I have is the Cirkul receipt, not the original mailing receipt that would have been received when creating the shipping label. They are stalling in order to make sure I can't get my money back and they won't have to send a new one.Business Response
