8 months since Hurricane Ian struck. This company responded quickly and sent an adjuster to check the damage. She took 10 mins to complete a report. The trailer was knocked off its foundation blocks, windows blown out, one side of the entire roof blown away. Several people were called for estimates and all who came said the trailer woulde be a write off with so much damage. American Integrity did send a cheque for $40k and said to start repairswith more money to follow.They sent someone out to put a tarp over the roof but failed to cover the window opening from exposure to the rain. I told the report had no indication of damaged windows, missing carports, and the trailer was off its foundation. I sent loads of pics that were taken the day after the huricane. Because it took so long to protect the house mold set in. We had a mold test done and sent the results to the Insurance company advising of rapid mold. A few weeks later they sent a mold remediation company out to fix the problem. The company litterally gutted my interior of the home leaving nothing but the studs in the house. Now I am left with a shell of a house . I used the original $40k to put a new roof one and order new siding and windows. I have no further money to install them. I have contactors waiting for the money to restore my home. I have lost count of the numer of adjusters that have been asigned to my claim. Igt is about 9 adjusters so far. Each one then says they have to start all over to review the claim. The second last adjuster asked me to send all contracts, reciepts to him which we did. The current adjuster claims he can't find them so they asked us to resend them. This company is a nightmare. The first mistake made was the house should have been a write - off and the policy paid out, instead they are forcing me to repair it as more than the value of the policy. STAY AWAY from them. The word Integrity is a very far fetched. All we keep hearing is lie after lie.American Integrity Insurance Company of Florida

My claim is not closed that I am aware of. I have not received any money as of June 29, 2023 although they say the cheque is in the mail.
I must say the adjuster has been working on my claim but it is NOT closed that I am aware of. I still have further claims/receipts to submit.Review fromSusan F

It has been 8 months since Hurricane Ian, and we still have not seen a dime from our homeowners policy. We lost our roof (we are on our second tarp), our fence, our windows are damaged, there’s mold on the AC, the garage door… What are we paying for? They sent an incompetent adjuster who said he had nothing to do with the claim. He would barely listen to us because as he said, he was just a glorified picture taker. That was not true. We got a public adjuster, now a lawyer. Last month they offered just under 1/4 of our claim. This is ridiculous. How are they getting away with this?American Integrity Insurance Company of Florida

This company is a complete fraud! I have been waiting nearly 8 months and insurance is refusing to settle my Hurricane claim. Not only that but they blatantly lied on my IA report stating they didn't inspect the interior of my home because I told them there was no interior damage just so they could low ball me and not inspect the interior of my home! As an insurance adjuster it is their JOB to search entire home after a hurricane. Now I have to go to mediation and have a lawyer on retainer in the event they still refuse to pay out my claim. All this fraud and hassle for what? I have NEVER filed a claim and my premiums are always paid ON TIME - this company deserves to be put out of business so they can never steal from or hurt another person again!!!American Integrity Insurance Company of Florida

American Integrity does not deserve to have integrity in their name. They have admitted that my roof is damaged but are not willing to admit the cause of the damage is hail related even though multiple professional inspections have determined that hail is the only logical cause for the damage. Even though I have multiple posts on social media accounts from people near me but absolutely unknown by me. Even though I have data from the National Weather Service confirming several reports of hail from 0.75 to 2 inches. Even though there have been more than 1,700 permits for roof repairs in my zip code alone over the past two years. American (lack of) Integrity offered me what amounts to a slap in the face of a settlement - which I have no choice but to accept lest I end up with less than nothing. All this after paying premiums for about 12 years and only having one other claim in which they only came off less than $3,000. Horrible experience with American Integrity. After several years with them we were notified they were going to cancel us due to our 15 year roof (it was a 20 year roof). So got a new roof ($18,000) and advised them. Paid $3,800 in 2022, wanted $9,200 for 2023even with the new roof.. ! NEVER use them!American Integrity Insurance Company of Florida

1 starAbsolutely the worst company to deal with. We eventually had to take them to court in order for them to pay for our damages. After we won the case they raised out rate by almost 300% I'm guessing they thought they'd get back the settlement payment back inn3 years if we stayed. The reason you get insurance is in case of any damages, but when it's time to pay they'd give you he'll to get that settled. Try anyone else but these guys.Review fromR. H.

1 Star is too many. Worst company ever. Deny, Deny, Deny. They sent a company to come out to put on a temporary roof after Ian, a when the adjuster came out they attempted to deny that part of the claim saying the adjuster couldn't verify the damage. Other structure (boatlift) damaged from a boat, they tried to say "storm surge" Finally get proof and theaten with fraud, now they offer pennies on the dollar and still trying to deny other parts of the claim. And why did I have to hire a PA to get you to actually pay a dime?? Your opening offer was $825 for a broken window (below deductible). I had to threaten fraud when you refused to cover the roof after your own contractors put a temporary roof on it because the adjuster "couldn't verify the damage". You can disagree, but your legal obligations are clear in your contract of adhesion. If my ** doesn't get the results I deserve under the policy, I will hire an attorney. This company needs to change its name. They lack integrity on every level. 5 months in and all I have is a useless check (wrong mortgage company) for a fraction of the damage. Maybe there needs to be an investigation into why they're refusing their contractual obligations. When normal people take money that isn't theirs, it's called theft. What's it called when an insurance company takes your money for a policy and then refuses to pay? Still looks like theft to me.
