First of all I am a disabled ******** citizen. I went to ********** express in ******, **. think that this business actually cared about those of us who can't afford to come off $1000 at 1 time in the winter for good reliable tires. At first they led me to believe that ALL of the perks of buying the tires like free tire alignment, roadside assistance and things of that nature were JUST because I was buying their product. EVERYTHING has a separate price tag, I had to tell ****-the store manager that I did not need the Roadside assistance 3 times before it got taken off, and I know for a fact I was still charged for ATLEAST 2 of those times. I ended up having to have an operation so I was in the hospital about 1.5 weeks. I let them know I was temporarily struggling as I had to be off work at my part time job. I let them know worse case scenario I get paid on the 3rd of each month so I could just make a double payment if that's was the case. Still I received harassing phone calls. So on Oct. 31, Halloween, the ********** crew of ****** came to my house, an individual with ALOT of Drs appts, for my disabling condition. Anyway not only did they repo the tires, but they also took my rims. It's hard to fathom how heartless this business is. They left my car literally on cinder blocks. ****************** signed a lease agreement with ** on August 23rd. Included in our services for a lease are 12 months of 24-Hour Roadside Assistance, lifetime rotation and balance, flat repair, locks and lugs. We do not charge separately for any of these services, contrary to ********************** complaint. He failed to make a second payment toward his lease, and failed to communicate with us about the payment at that time. On October 11 he told us that he would like to return the tires to us. We returned the tires as he requested and verified that he had his original factory wheels in his possession. When I brought my tires for my 04 Benz .they told me it would be 900$ I said ok they told me if I had any problem at any time with my tires they would be replaced with no questions.i have gone back several times they didn't balance my tires,now they plugged one tire I asked for all of them to be changed now I'm on 4 ball tires .I think they sold me used tires at a new tire price.still waiting on a tire to be ordered in .and no one can tell me my total owedBusiness Response

Our Regional Manager reached out to this customer in an attempt to help understand and resolve the matter. This customer committed to two separate appointments; however, he did not show up to either, or called to reschedule. We replaced two of the customers tires through our customer benefit program. I purchased 4 tires sometime last year. Leased to be exact. When you lease them to own them it comes with a liability and damage waiver. The waiver acts as a safeguard in the event that anything happens while you're leasing the tires. I paid them over $1,500 in payments for the tires so far. I have had tires go bad on me after getting the original set of 4. Instead of honoring the waiver they acted like it and started me on a new account for another tire. I have more than paid for the set of four and I feel like they just want to bleed me out of all my money and keep me in what seems like a never ending contract with them. The tires are poor quality. And constantly go bad. I am now being sued for ***** in court for tires that aren't even worth it. The vehicle that I had a on is gone. I had a blow out and subsequently lost control. I was unable to get the tires back to them so now they are suing me. This company is a joke and they prey on people who really can't afford to buy outright. My understanding is the customer wrecked the vehicle and refused to provide any proof of loss including any photos, claims report, police report, or any other proof of incident, in order to waive his liability. His reasoning as I understand it is he did not want to file an insurance claim, or police report, or for there to be any record of the loss or accident. Once he made us aware of his alleged loss as a result of property damage, and his unwillingness to provide documentation, we non- suited the case, and wrote off the account balance. It is our belief the matter has been settled in favor of the complaintant, and furthermore, we admit no wrongdoing here, rather only taking care of a customer.

RNR Tire Express put me in new tires and wheels back in March of 2023. They didn't have any wheels that fit my truck at the time. They offered to put me in universal wheels and told me I can switch them out at anytime for different wheel. They failed to mention that putting me in different wheels would start my contract all over and would have to finance all over again on different wheels. So the money that I was paying would go away and wouldn't count on any new wheels I get. So with that being said, I didn't want to start all over on a payment plan. The wheels that they put me in are universal and actually don't fit my truck. Now my truck has had nothing but mechanical front end problems due to the universal wheels. The first incident was my wheel fell completely off almost causing an accident. I called RNR Tire Express to let them know that my whole entire wheel fell off my *********** had two small children in the car. They told me they could tow it to their shop but I would have to pay for any repairs that it needed even though it was nothing I did to the vehicle. It turned out that the wheel broke my studs on the passenger front tire, now needing a whole new wheel hub assembly. Then I ended up getting a flat tire. I called RNR Tire Express and told them about the flat and they said they wouldn't help me until my balance was caught up, I couldn't pay my balance due to the first repair costing over $800 to repair. I finally got my balance current and I wanted them to fix the tire and rotate my tires and to check to see how they were doing since the first repair. They told me my driver side wheel hub assembly was broke too due to the studs breaking from the wheels. And also mentioned the lower ball joint going out on the driver side. They gave me an estimate on how much it would cost to fix the damages. I asked why this keeps happening and they didn't have an explanation. The ********, ** *** has been nothing but a huge headache! They have ran my card 2 times without my consent and the kicker is, I DO NOT EVEN HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM!! My husband has an account there. I am not a co-signer for him, nor have I signed any contract with RNR. I did pay with my personal debit card 3 times, but i was assured that my card was not saved on file. My husband and I have separate bank accounts and pay separate bills. The first unauthorized transaction was on 8/21/22. I called the company and was told by ***** that he was submitting a refund to my card that same day. This refund never came. Moving forward to September 18th, again I see a charge for RNR on my bank account. AGAIN, this was not authorized! I called and spoke with the assistant manager ******. I explained that I do not have an account with them, my husband does and this was again an unauthorized transaction. I told him this was fraud. he told me this was not fraud because of it being my husband who has an account with them. He very rudely told me that my husband owed RNR and that I should get the money from him. He said that if my husband would not pay me back the money that maybe I shouldn't be married to him. He said he would try to submit a reversal of the payments, but could not guarantee the money would be returned. He too stated that my card was not saved on file. I told him that I am not responsible for my husbands debt and running my bank card without my permission is against the law. I did not sign a contract with RNR, I do not personally owe RNR and they have commited fraud. I have incurred bank fees due to these transactions and have had to get a new debit card. I deserve answers from someone other than the very rude workers at RNR ********. If I do not get answers, I will be forced to file credit card fraud charges on this company.Business Response

We spoke with Mrs. ****** on 10/9/23 to apologize for the inconvenience. She said that account has since been closed. Her card should no longer be charged and has been since taken off auto-pay. We are having a representative from the store's corporate office reach out to her as well to confirm this.

I have had issues with this company regarding my account I had an instance where I had my wheels rotated and after a few weeks of driving the passenger side wheel came off one day my wife and our 2 and at the time she was pregnant with our third child came to pick me up from work I've mentioned this to the managers and the store owner about this issue and they did nothing to correct the issue I had to spend everything I had earned and also missed a few days a work to get my vehicle fixed and when that happened I Ended up being behind on payments and then I had to stop working due to COVID-19 complications with My 3 small children I had to stop working to care for them as that my wife works for the city government and at the time she could not take off from work and payments got further behind and I was really doing my best at working everything out but Now a line has been drawn and I will not take the rudeness nor the disrespect or threats from this company I told them that i will return merch on last Friday 09/09 or Saturday 09/10 at the time I could not locate another set of tires to return merch Here it is Thursday 09/15 I receive an email in all CAPS asking what happened to me returning merch I explained to them that I was waiting for My wife's Factory wheels to be repaired So that I could have a set to put on my vehicle to be able to return merch I was told that is not their issue and that I need to either have payment in by today or Legal Action will be taken out against me and I just want them to take better action especially since the life of my wife and kids were in danger when the tire came off attached is the passenger tire that came off from wheel hub I had to replace everything on that side with new partsBusiness Response

We at RNR ***** tried work with this customer to rectify the situation. It continues to end up our problem that they cannot or will not abide by the signed agreement. They are and have been extremely past-due and the customer has decided to follow a different path other than paying on the account or return the merchandise.
we are will to remove our products and install the customer product to replace ours. We will not ask for an fee to install the other tires as long as we get ours back as the agreement requires.
also, we understand everyone runs into issues we will be willing to waive all past due payments if the customer will return the products as the agreement requires that they signed.

This customer came in after some sort of collision causing damage the front end of her vehicle and cracking and damaging a wheel. We replaced one wheel and after that the customer claimed the fenders were impacted by our lift when clearly the front end collision would have caused such damage. We reviewed the surveillance video and shows our machine did not touch the fenders or in anyway cause this damage. Additionally, we only replaced the broken wheel which was on the passenger side of the vehicle and never touched the driver side but her complaint is damaged fenders on both sides of the vehicle. Attached are pictures of the vehicle showing the condition of the vehicle when we received it. The customer did not drop off the vehicle personally (had a friend drop off the vehicle) and seemed confused about the details of the situation when we spoke to her.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: there was never any ********. As I stated to them at time of repair a pothole was what caused the tire to have a lump in it and pushed the rim out. My car has had the bumper replaced, a few months ago. And my mechanic will vouch for that. Rnr employee ****** had admitted that upon lifting my car there was not any damage to my doors or trim, he also stated that he felt uncomfortable putting my car on lift and got assistance from another employee and as they were lifting my car heard a loud pop noise, and assume it was the lift when it was actually it my car sliding a little due to not being put on the lift correct. I have since had my car looked at by an independent mechanic and he has verified that there are markings under my vechile that support my beliefs that it had indeed slipped and lifted in the wrong spots. Pictures can be provide of these new markings as well as eye witnesses that my car was not and did not have damage to my doors and front panel prior to dropping off at RNR. I am completely appalled that this establishment is denying what they did. Even after employee admitted to it! I have referred this company to my closest friends as I once thought they were great, but when this incident occur it showed there true colors. My car simply went in for a tire and rim replacement, and now I need new doors and trim due to them lifting my low profile car. Which probably should have never been put on a lift to begin with. Also they only showed me video of Thursday's tire replacement using floor jack, not of the actual day in question. I understand accidents happen, but for them to deny and lie is absurd. I expected them to do the right thing, and they have not. If they didn't do anything wrong why would they give me the rim for free?

The car definitely had some impact prior to bringing it to us which is why the bumper was replaced along with impacts above the wheels on both fenders. The car was dropped off then picked up and dropped off the next day. The customer claimed there was no damage after picking up the vehicle the first day and had to have happened the second day which is why we showed her the video of the second day as she requested. The video shows that the vehicle never went on our lift the second day. We replaced the wheel and tire at no charge going above and beyond in attempt to satisfy the customer as she was very upset. Customer also claimed the wheel and tire were damaged simply by putting air in it at an air machine. The wheel being cracked had to have been from some significant impact but would not admit to that either until this dispute to our response.Initial Complaint

Do not trust RNR Tire Express went in year ago to get some tires, that I thought were new, paid $1400 for these new tires. This week I pulled them off because they all had slow leaks and wanted bigger tires anyways. Just to find out once they were pulled off 3 of the 4 new tires were patched. ****** was no help telling me I should of said something sooner. But again no idea they were not new tires and that they were patched. Im not the one to get on here to bash but wrong is wrong and you telling me one thing then it isnt the truth is bull $1400 mistake. So Do not trust RNR. Contacting Better business bureau Monday morning and already called corporate..also if the manger hangs up on you. I think that tells you they do this stuff in hopes people dont find out.Regional manger said that he wouldnt refund half the payment of my tires because they were used and I signed for those tires. Even if thats the case it wasnt brought to my attention that the tires were patched or plugged. Nobody would spend $1390 on used tires knowing that.Business Response

As a company, we feel that we upheld our end of this transaction fairly and honestly. The lease agreement was for "Pre-Leased" tires and signed by the customer. We also recognize that the customer upheld his end of the agreement and paid it off in a timely manner. After listening to the concerns of the customer, the customer genuinely felt that communication could have been better. We agreed to a compromise that satisfied the customer.
