I went to the Popeyes restaurant in ********* Louisiana on March 2, 2025 and they had an advertisement for a meal for $25. we requested to order that item, they said that it was no longer available and refused to give us the price as advertised . Im attaching a photo of the advertisement. The meal I purchased, which was equivalent or close to it, was almost twice as much.Initial Complaint

Terrible serve, the manager yelled at me tell me to get out the store after I complaint about the drive-thru cashier was on his phone and multiple employees were in and out of the store. A few of them were in gathered in the lobby talking. With only 2 employees actually working. I sat in line for 1 hour and 20 before my order was taken with only 7 cars ahead of me and 23 minutes after my order was taken before receiving my food. This is my first complaint on record but *** had multiple accounts of terrible service from this facility.Initial Complaint

*****************, went to Popeye's because I wanted to pay cash & not use my credit card. Place order & then tells me only exact Cash & change. So, put me on the Spot to that point. I got annoyed at this point, as I had to make a decision. No signs no nothing throughout the store. I used my card because no choice. As she turned **** my order, I asked to see the manager. She stated she was the manager. Initially told me was out of cash since yesterday Saturday. Then it was midnight. By the way it was 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon with no cash and no signs on. I stated but it's mismanagement. She asked me how so I said, how can you go a day with no cash any business like this. She then said she would give me my money back and not fill my order. I said, filled the order ,I will leave.She didn't ask me for my ticket so she could give me a refund. I said I didn't want a refund I want my chicken. She obviously did not like that I said the store was Miss managed. Ended up she called two police cars, ridiculous. Because of their mismanagement her ,mismanagement. Totally disappointed with this outcome. I love popeyes, but I do not support mismanagement of businesses when it affects us consumers. I have been in management. I'm not saying the customer is always right. But if you want to give me a refund, look back on your last transaction that was filled, since you are the Sales Manager who Refuses to fill my Order. I refused to give her my ticket. That's all .she called cops. It's all on camera .Initial Complaint

On December 16, 2024 a $50 gift card was purchased from a Popeyes Louisiana Chicken location in ***********, **. The card was purchased by my niece as a gift for Christmas for my son. The employee handed the card upon completion of the sale and indicated everything was set and ready to go. Upon first attempted use of the card in January at a store nearby where we live, the card did not work. It was not recognized by the store we attempted to use it at. We contacted **************** per the store's direction. Over the course of weeks, we communicated with the customer service team. They provided various insights and information but never a resolution. I feel as though they have now ghosted us, despite our latest efforts to contact them seeking an update and resolution. We recently followed up with the parent group (*********************) who manages the franchises but there has been no response as of February 24, 2025. Regrettably we are in a position now where we paid for a gift card but have not received anything in return for payment. All we are seeking is a working $50 card so that we can bring closer to this unfortunate situation and experience.Initial Complaint

On2-7-25 placed order with Popeyes in **********, ** for a meal to take home. Chicken real tough and hard. Coleslaw tasted like it had been sitting out all day. Mashed potatoes were like the worst of the instant pouch kind. I have tried e-mailing Popeyes, but I cannot get it to go through. These people dont never do there job correctly and then be so rude when you go up there and complain about it. This is the 2nd time I didnt get all my food when I paid 25+ for it.Initial Complaint

On Feb. 23rd at 12:49 pm, I placed an order through the mobile app for pick up totaling up to $9.26. I went to pick up my order from **************************** and when I arrived the man said "we don't do mobile orders" then proceeded to tell me "just joking, we have it, pull up to the window". I received my order and was very not satisfied. The food was cold and dumped into the bag terribly. I was not satisfied with service or food being super cold, so through the app I asked for a refund and they gave me a $10 off credit through the app. The next day I used the coupon and placed my order at the same Popeyes but i was at work super far away from home for lunch break and never picked up my order. So I was robbed of $11 and no one has even reached out.Initial Complaint

I went to the drive thru this evening to pick up my mobile order and when I got there, I was told I had to come in because my order was barely started and it was a big order. My order was only two meals it was a 3 piece tender meal and a 2 piece chicken meal nothing about the order was big when there was no one else in their drive thru line and there was ONE other person inside picking up an order. I pulled around waited outside for a couple minutes because I DID have my 2 month old with me and did not want to bring her in just for my pick up order when the drive thru was available. Hence why I didnt come in in the first place to place my order After a couple of minutes, I went to the door to go inside to pick up my order, and the doors were locked I pulled on the doors a couple of times and even knocked twice- no one came to open the door. I could see employees standing in the corner, trying to get out of view, and refusing to open the door after I was JUST told I had to come in to get my order.. at this point I am frustrated and inconvenienced because I had to go back through the drive thru to get my order and the employee claimed he just locked the doors. That was besides the point, the other worker shouldnt have never told me to come inside if they were going to be locking doors and I have a small child with me. It was an inconvenience all around, and very unacceptable being that the business does not close until 11pm, and this was 8:30pm when this occurred so the doors shouldnt have been locked. When I came around to get my order for the third time. There was another employee who looked like someone in charge, by his attire, and he just smiled as if the inconvenience of the whole thing was not already frustrating enough with an infant!! I will not be ordering from this location ever again. There is always an issue and theres always something missing from my order. Theyre unprofessional and they talk about each other in front of customers.Initial Complaint

Six ghost pepper chicken wings are missing from my order. Not the first time item is missing from this store. I called and they did not offer me a refund and asked me to go back. It took me more than 30 minutes to get the missing item and will they pay for the gas and time cost? I would like a full refund of the order.
