On May 13, 2025, at 7.51 p.m. I swiped my ************ card at Popeyes in ***** and was told by the cashier that the card did not go through. The cashier was then given another card (Cash App debit) for payment, and I was charged $31.85. On May 14th, I reviewed my bank statement and discovered they had charged my card $40.50. I then immediately contacted Popeyes and was told they had a glitch in their system that night. They still did not return my $40.50. I was told I would have to file a dispute with my bank. I talked to three different Managers about the problem and showed proof of the money being taken from both accounts. I have not been contacted by anyone regarding this matter.Initial Complaint

Hello, Good morning, My name is ******* ***** and I am Highly upset. I went to the Popeyes on **********. It was my mother, daughter and self, shortly after we ate the food we started to have bowel movements and was sick all day and all night. We have been sick ever since we ate from this franchise we are CURRENTLY STILL SICK. I AM A SINGLE MOTHER WITH A ONE YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. WE HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS ONE TWO MANY TIMES AND I HAVE HAD ENOUGH THIS IS TERRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND INCONSIDERATE. MY DAUGHTER COULD HAVE CHOKED ON HER THROW UP IN HER SLEEP. THEY ARE SO DISRESPECTFUL EVERYTIME WE GO. THE INSIDE OF THIS PLACE IS UNCLEAN AND THE FOOD IS ALWAYS OLD AS IF THEY ARE USING OLD GREASE. I NEVER GET GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NOW MY DAUGHTER AND I HAVE TO SUFFER FROM THIS ******. I HAVE NO TRANSPORTATION TO GET TO AND FROM AND CAN NEVER GET HELP WHEN EXPERIENCING THIS. NOONE CARES OR TAKES CREDIT FOR WHAT WE HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING. I AM GOING TO TAKE FURTHERMORE CHARGE AND AM *** LOOKING FOR A LAWYER BECAUSE THIS IS RIDICOULOUS. I HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE FOR THIS KIND OF EXPERIENCE. ME MY DAUGHTER AND MOTHER DESERVE TO BE TREATED BETTER AND THIS IS A VIOLATION TO OUR HEALTH. I came in the store on 5/21/25 approx 6:15pm on 1999 ****** blvd calumet city,il Busy time of day I was at the front counter and was told by cashier " Ya'll just gone have to wait" very rude the cashier on drive thru replied to co-worker you don't have to rush for them. Also, very unprofessional. no one apologized for the wait. The front area wasn't clean. The cook came to the front for a drink with 2 rags in hand as he continued to rub them over his chest and arms in front of customers. I did speak with management regarding the concern. I wasn't thee only one that witnessed this behavior. I understand drive thru making the money. What I don't understand is how the emplyees feel like the rude behavior and un professional demeanor isn't in there job discription.Initial Complaint

On April 17, 2025, my spouse and I visited the Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen (Popeyes) in **********, to pick up food from an online order we placed. My spouse placed the order on his mobile device since I was driving and the food was paid for with my credit card. Upon arrival at the drive-thru, we were told one of the items we ordered was no longer sold. We were offered the option to replace the item, or have the order refunded. We chose to have the order refunded. However, we were told we had to contact Popeyes online to request a refund. The order total was for $24.42, and my spouse went to Popeyes website immediately to request a refund. We received an automated response via Popeyes Customer Support chat requesting an email address and my spouse provided his email address. We never received additional chat responses, or an email from Popeyes regarding our refund. As life happens, you forget about things, and I forgot to follow up right away when I learned my spouse never received an email or additional contact from Popeyes. Only a short time passed when I made additional contact via email support regarding the status of our refund. I received responses via Popeyes email support/******* that were not helpful, seemed to go in circles, and were not beneficial in providing our refund. Some of the agents were rude and unsympathetic. I was told via email that 7 days passed and they could no longer issue a refund; however, I advised we requested the refund the same day the food was ordered. I have emails and screenshots of our online order and chat support message attempting to obtain a refund. We simply want a refund for an order we placed, paid for, but never received. I have obtained interest on my credit card for this charge as additional time passed when the order was not refunded. I was treat badly and I wear a gm and they had me working over 100 every 2 week. I placed an order at 5.45pm online the money was taken out of my account. the company website shows my order was ready for pickup. At 6.30pm the so called manager has me standing waiting and tells me they never received my order. I dont believe that, i have had many other issues at this restaurant. The amount of money paid for the quality of food and the amount that is given. The prices are outrageous and are unacceptable. These fast food restaurants are all over charging which is called gouging and is illegal in the state of ********. All consumers demand these prices be reevaluated, lowered and explained why people are being robbed at a drive-thru window at a fast food restaurant. Fast food means fast food and should be low prices. I can remember when a cheeseburger was 49 cents at **********. These prices are absolutely ridiculous and these owners should be jailed for theft. $14 for a chicken sandwich fries and a Coke. These b******* should be hanged in a public setting.Initial Complaint

05/16 I went to Popeyes on brook rd in ******** ** I had a pick up order for 5pc and fires and red beans and rice with hot sauce and honey the light skin lady with braids extremely rude she had given me a order of 2 pc chicken and 2 mac and cheese when I told her my order was wrong she rolled her eyes and rudely said this your order you just missing chicken she said it 5 times with a attitude when my whole order was wrong
