On Tuesday, May 6, 2025 I stopped at the newly reopened Popeyes in *************** located on route 46. I picked up a piece dinner with two sides and a biscuit. Within three hours, I experience violent diarrhea which lasted for 24 hours. At this point, I very dehydrated and could not eat anything. I have 45 years in the restaurant industry as manager, Director of operations and owner. I am certain that this was due to eitherleaving chicken out too long before cooking or possibly removing chicken from the fryer too early in order to save time. Regardless, I have lost workand about 8 pounds and have not eaten in three days. Yes, something should be done about it.Initial Complaint

I placed an order online using my rewards. I ordered at the wrong store. I asked one of the employee at the ******************* location that I had made this mistake. He told me he could handle any issues concerning the app. He told me to reach out to customer service on the app. I did so and a virtual assistant did not answer my questions and ended our conversation. I tried to reengage on the online customer support, but the virtual assistant said he resolved my problem and ended the conversation again. Now I have no food and my rewards are gone. I spend 60 dollars just to get my rewards. I want my rewards back or a refund. The store employees at the ******** location on *************************** customer service was awful and they refused to resolve the issue.Initial Complaint

This complaint is regarding the Popeyes on ***** Rd. Near the ***************. I ordered a combo meal with a sandwich and the menu says all combos come with a biscuit a side and a drink. Nowhere on the menu does it stipulate that this does not apply to the sandwich combo. I ordered my food and to my surprise, I didnt get a biscuit. When I expressed my concerns to the **, he told me it doesnt come with one. I pointed out the spot on the menu where it says combos come with one, and he told me to check my receipt. The foods absence on my receipt doesnt excuse not make it absent on the menu. I told them that this is a bait and switch and that they legally cannot advertise that biscuits come with every combo if they dont. I asked for a biscuit since thats what the menu says i get and thats what i paid for. You cant advertise food that doesnt come with an order and then say oh well this type doesnt come with with that just because I said so and offer no explanation other than its not on your receipt! I am seeking for charges for bait and switch to be pursued after this misleading menu issue. It may be a small problem, but thats why they can get away with it. Is it seriously that big of a deal to give me a small biscuit? It probably costs like 10 what is the point in lying, if it doesnt come with one then make it say that on the menu. Their manager was rude and not helpful at all and refused to explain why my combo was an exception to the rule. Absolutely unacceptable illegal business practice.Initial Complaint

I have patronized Popeyes for several years. I accumulated ****** reward points through their app. Late last year I was hospitalized with a number of health issues. After weeks in the hospital, I was transferred to a nursing facility for further treatment. I am now confined to an assisted living facility. I received notification that my points were expiring so I contacted their customer service department and explained the situation. I was told that if the points expired, I could contact them again and have the points reinstated. I am now being told that they will only give me back 1500 points, only about 10 % of what I had. I am a senior citizen and had been very loyal to the chain. Under the circumstances, since it was through no fault of my own that I could not order from the chain for several months and since I was told they would reinstate the points, I should get all ****** points back.Initial Complaint

I was overcharged for items I requested that were on sale and was told the sale didn't start until the next day however the terms and conditions stated it was from 4/28/25- 6/01/25. Today is 5/04/25. I was also sold items that weren't part of the meal, individually and was not told. The customer service number is no help and has no actual person to speak to. Various transactions on different dates, Most recent purchase 05/01/2025, Purchased 2 items (6 Ghost Pepper Wings. 1 Large Red ************* @ $5.99 each. Subtotal of the order shows $12.98.$5.99 (x2) is $11.98 so I was overcharged for this order as well as other orders of practically the same item purchases.
