The store at ********************************************************************** has poor service as well as substandard food quality compared to the service and food at the ******* store on ***********. The service is always slow, there employees who sloppy in appearance. Two in particular who have face piercings all over their faces and sounds as if thats causing speaking issues. The chicken tenders give no appearance of being tenders. The look like they were torn apart in preparation instead of cut, dipped heavily in batter and deep fried, leaving no actual tender meat. The nuggets are the same. The ******* store is great all around. Someone should have a look at the ******* store, employees, service and the preparation and serving of food items.Initial Complaint

I bought a $50 Popeye's gift card from Kroger in ********** in ************ to use at the new Popeyes Hermitage store. This was approximately 5 months ago. Went to Popeye's, order and then was told they were not yet set up to take gift cards. I tried again a month later. Still can not take their own gift cards. I called Popeye's Corp and was told to load the card to the on line system and order thru there and that would work. I attempted to do this on 8/12/23. The gift card was successfully loaded to the Popeyes on line system. Great. It still will not let me use the gift card to pay for their product. I feel that Popeyes has stolen $50 from me. I spoke to the manager of the store on 8/12/23 and was told LOTS of customers are very unhappy about the same situation. She told me to call corporate. I have tried for 3 hours on 8/14/23 to contacts their customer service department. Impossible. Please help. THANKS PS Attaching pics of the actual card. I went to Popeyes on ***************************************************** store #**** @ 2:27pm on 08-13-2023. I ordered a Big Box 2pcs 2 sides & and biscuit ************ & red bean and rice for $6.99 plus a extra $0.50 for the ************ I also ordered a extra side which was fries my total was $11.34 my cashier was ******** (very nice) but I asked for my food fresh which I was told it would be a 8 minute wait I also asked for spicy. When I received my food the wait was shorter than 8 minutes I took my food that was ensured to me was fresh and I left when I arrived home which is 10 minutes away I was very excited but I was quickly disappointed in the food 1. The food was not fresh 2. It was not spicy and I was a little upset. I decided I was going to eat it anyway but as I ate the ************ 2 bites in I realized I was chewing on and SWALLOWING PLASTIC!!! Needless to say, I was very disgusted at what I had been eating and spit the rest of it out. I called the store multiple times and they did not answer my call. I left a message for ***** on voicemail hoping they would reach out. When I came in there were a group of young kids ordering around the same time and I cant help to think they may have also gotten some of the contaminated food. I ordered food in person at Popeyes that charged $17.46 to my credit card. 5 min later a woman asked the cashier for a refund, stating shed been waiting 30 min for her food. I noticed there wasnt anyone making food in the kitchen and several people waiting for food. 25 min later, the same chicken and fries were sitting under heat lamps unserved, and the cashier kept taking orders. I asked the cashier for a refund since it was obvious no one was getting food. She refused to refund my money and said only a manager can and the manager wasnt available. I told her she should stop taking money since she knows no one is making the food. She walked away from me and sat on a stool in the kitchen and did nothing. I walked out and called customer service, noticing several ********************** employees sitting at a table behind the restaurant. The customer service number is a machine that requires text conversation, after providing all the info via text, I was only offered points on their app! I dont want their app or points, I want my money back. I emailed and received a reply that I must call the restaurant for a refund. The restaurant doesnt answer the phone and I dont live near it. So I still havent received my refund. After reading reviews its a scam that this restaurant is taking money from people and regularly fails to provide the food, essentially stealing customers money without a way for customers to get a refund unless they initiate a stop payment on their credit card. If paying cash, then youre out luck. This Popeyes is deceptive and should be shut down, its criminal how they get away with stealing money from customers who have no recourse.Initial Complaint

On Saturday, 13-May-2023, through doordash, I ordered a 6 piece garlic parmesan wing combo with mashed potatoes and gravy. The food, 1st of all arrived an hour and a half late, then upon arrival, being hungry, I started to eat before I discovered the wings were not fully cooked, displaying redness on the inside, trying to cover it up with the garlic parmesan sauce. Upon discovery, iI notified doordash who I had to fight to get my refund and was advised to contact the store directly. Upon calling the store, I was told that a manager would contact me. That was back in May!. It is now August. I have contacted the "cooperation" via email, which is the only way to contact them. The first point of contact was a "bot" named ****************, who then transfered my case to an *****, also to no avail. The next day, I was nauseated and had a bout with diarrhea, but not enough for the ***** As I am attempting to contact Popeyes as a cooperation, I could never speak with a human. Just the run around from May up until now, which is August. The last time I've reached out to these bots, I was sent a text message saying that someone would contact me via email TO NO AVAIL, and that was last week. So this is my last resort.Initial Complaint

On July 29th, 2023, my brother's family came into town to visit my 89 year old mother and me. My mom wanted to take them to a nice lunch so we went to Popeyes Chicken. A family member wanted the Big Box special for $6.99 that was on a sign on the window outside but it wasn't listed on the menu inside. So she asked the cashier where was it and the cashier said it was only on the window. She told the cashier that is what she wanted. I made an order but I didn't want a drink but was told I had to order one. The family member that ordered the Big Box special told me I should have ordered the special because you didn't have to get a drink with that. So I asked the cashier if she could change my order to the same as hers and told the cashier what I wanted for the two sides. She said she would change my order to that... But the cashier rang up other food that cost a lot more for both of us. After my mother paid, I looked at the receipt and everything on it was $10 or more. I told the cashier that she rang it up wrong. There should have been two orders for $6.99 on there. She called her manager who pointed at a sign that said No Returns. I told her, this is not a return and that this was a mix up. We hadn't even been given any food yet. She would not fix the order. I told her I was going to file a complaint if they did not fix the order. I never seen anything like his before and they ruined our special day with my family. My mother is 89 yrs old and I'm filing this on her behalf.Initial Complaint

This is the 4th time this month I have had an issue with my order. Since no one ever answers the phone number on the receipt. This time I need to express my concerns. The other say I ordered the Classic Chicken sandwich meal with bacon and my chicken was old and dry. Today I ordered the same thing, requested my chicken to be fresh please. Harassment followed by threat of customer life by local franchise employee in *********** **. Employee name *******************************. Please check health department inspection records Floor was sticky and drink machine dirty. Employee treated me manager ******************************* I am military veteran.
