My wife and I ordered food for takeout on July 21, 2023 from this restaurant. Both my wife and I became ill (vomiting, diahrea, stomach cramping, gas) a few hours after eating the food. We lost sleep because of this. When I called the restaurant the next day to request a refund they refused to give me one and said I need to get a report from my doctor to confirm that it was food poisoning. The illness had passed by this time and I informed the restaurant manager (*****) that it would not be possible to get an appointment with my family doctor on a Saturday. Getting a doctor's note would also cost me $20. The food order total was $34.06. I would like the restaurant to take accountability and refund our order. We have been loyal customers to this restaurant for years and did not expect to be treated this way. They refused to refund us and instead put up barriers knowing we would not be able to meet their conditions due to the current state of healthcare in our province. The manager seemed to have no compassion and instead said "no one else has called to complain".Initial Complaint

The location on ******* and ********* in *********** ** is some of the worse customer service and poor management second time trying to come to that location and the lobby is closed to paying customers before the hours stated due to being short staffed that is a inconvenience to customers and being told to go through the drive thru thats wrapped around the block its unprofessional and very poor management staff better or close down permanentlyInitial Complaint

Date 7/23/2023 Store # *** Total ticket $27.56 Issue: I arrived at Popeyes on ******* road in ************ ** 6:13pm. I ordered 12 mild tenders and a mango lemonade & completed my order by 6:20pm. It already sounds chaotic. But it didn't bother me at the moment. Went to pay for my order at 6:25pm. They immediately told me to pull to the front of the store. I said for 12 tender s. So I did. And 5 cars after me pulled into the parking lot. So I'm waiting and some of people after me was getting their order. So I asked one of employees about my order and she said she don't know. This made me upset. So I stopped another employee and she asked me what I ordered. I told her. She stated they didn't have any available. So I asked when where they going tell me. I was just sitting out there for almost 40 minutes. So I went in to find out what going. Now I'm complaining. Then the manager trying to step for damage control. The manager is coming down on employee that made the sell instead of trying to make it right with me. I got a refund processing. To find out 6 other guest didn't know either. On July 23, 2023, I submitted an order (#***) at 12:27 pm at Popeyes (store #****), totaling $9.99. I was instructed to pull over to wait for my order. After waiting thirteen minutes, I went inside requesting to cancel my order and a refund. A young **** stated that they dont do refunds. I asked to speak to the manager and the manager came out stating, we dont do refunds . I informed her that her policy is not posted anywhere. She replies, ** saying it now. I pleaded with her to refund my money. She refused and told me that I can take my food and take it up with corporate. Once again, I asked for my refund and that I didnt want this situation to escalate to bad over $9.99. She accused me of threatening her, I said no, bad is me calling the police, in which, I did. We purchased three meals from Popeyes fast food from the Popeyes on I-44 and ****************. ************* ****. the public post meals chicken strip meal comes with 1 side and a small drink. When we paid they told us that this was false that the meals do not come with drinks. We got our food and the chicken strips wer not edible (raw). The nuggets were flavorless. The biscuits were cold. The price was almost ***** dollars. The man at the window could not explain so he got manager and manager spoke mainly Spanish. I ordered an apple pie on my way home waiting for the 6 bus. When I get on the bus I started eating it towards the end of the apple pie I almost choke on a hard peice of thing and I got it all it and it look to me like a nail clipping or maybe peice of plastic then I go on to finding more in my mouth. I have never in my life been treated the way we were on July 9, 2023. We ordered $45 in food. The employee rolled her eyes when we can in. Didnt say a word. So we gave her our order. Continued to roll her eyes and still did not say a word. I paid. Rolled her eyes and looked like she was miserable. Contacted support on July 9 with email and phone number. It is now July 17 and nothing. I will not spend my mine here again. It says a lot about how rude you are and I couldve showed out there. But I didnt. I want a refund. I went to the Popeyes location on 7/16 went to get ghost pepper wings but for some reason this location never have them or anything else for that matter. I received the wrong items last night not to mention the food was once again old and cold! Ive reached out through the company website to either be compensated or for a full refund. My significant other and I went through the drive thru and got our food. We were a little skeptical as we got to the window because it seemed as though an extremely young girl gave us our food. we went home and noticed one of our sandwiches were missing. We went back and showed our receipt and received our Sandwich. We then noticed we didnt get biscuits with my significant others meal. we went back again the exact moment we left. We let them know and also asked if we could get new food because at that point everything was cold. They asked for our receipt and the girl at the window who was different individual from the girl who looked extremely underage. Her and another worker looked for the receipt they didnt give back to us. They finally found it and the girl stated exactly you ordered x, y, and z and that doesnt come with a biscuit so I dont know what you think you're talking about my significant other tells her not to give her attitude and the other worker comes up and says dont talk to my sister like that **** **** underage and he then said then if **** underage is she suppose to be working? she then stated she was of age to work but, the younger girl who originally served our food to us looked like she was around the age of 14. I full believe that this place is breaking child labor laws as well as continuously harassing customers when they mess up and customers rightfully come back to get what they paid for.
