Today, June 28, 2023 at approximately 4:00 pm. I went to Popeyes at ************************************ ****, to order takeout per usual. I ordered three specials and used the coupon from the app which came to $79.00. Every time I go to Popeyes in *** Nuys, I order 30 pieces all legs. However, today the manager ***** told me she wasnt going to do it unless I paid $30 extra dollars even after I informed this is my usual order and the first time I heard of that. She began to engage in an argument she talked to me very nasty and hostile. I have never been treated in that manner in any Popeyes I have been in. In ***************** or overseas this is the worst treatment I have ever encountered of any Popeyes employee. To add insult to injury she said I was lying and that I have not ordered all legs before. ***** has never seen me before especially to insult me in that way. The time ***** took degrading me and calling me a liar she could have easily just made the order especially since it was already paid for. Her attitude was so poor and nasty I just got a refund. I do not want someone that nasty and insulting to prepare food for my family. I am really in disbelief and astonished that Popeyes has not only an employee but a manager that conducts herself in that manner in the place of business.Initial Complaint

I ordered for delivery off the Popeyes website today 06/28/2023 at 4:47pm. I spent a total of $33.90. I ordered an order of 12 ghost pepper wings with fries & an order of 6 ghost pepper wings with mashed potatoes. When i received my order, i received the complete incorrect order. Ive been trying to contact someone on guest support and they have been no help. First they tell me they cannot refund me because i used the restaurant payment processors but i ordered online. Then they completely stop responding to my emails and ignoring me and this situation still has not been resolved. I want a refund for my incorrect order. 6/16/2023 1:30 p.m. visited Store #***** at *****************************************. Placed order (8 piece family meal and 2 apple pies) Waited 20 minutes and seeing people who were in front and behind me all got their orders. Followed up at cashier and was told it will be ready in 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, followed again and was told another 6 minutes. After 6 minutes, asked to speak to store manager, she said order is coming up. Order ready after another 10 minutes. Employee responded "it would have been faster if you ordered sandwiches" 6/16/2023 2:18 p.m. called customer service to complain and gave details After opening the box, found out that original chicken order turned out to be spicy which we cannot eat. Called customer service again and complained. 6/16/2023 4:01 p.m. a call came in from ************, lady claimed to be ****** asked details. She was apologetic and asked that I drop back by and get the same meal for free, I rejected as I was miles away already. She said she will pull up my order and issue refund. Will call and give me ***** number next day. Never heard back. Waited til 6/21 before calling customer service again telling them nobody called with a ***** number. **************** said they will record again and someone should be calling back. Again no call back. 6/23/2023 At 12:40 p.m. Called customer service again in afternoon of asked to escalate issue. **************** said their number is the only place. I said if you only record and people just ignore, what kind of customer service you are providing? Customer representative said that is all they can do and cannot enforce or guarantee action. When asked for corporate number, representative said they do not have. Googled Popeyes corporate number ************. Dialed 21 times and always get busy tone. A "fast food" restaurant selling "chicken" not preparing chicken and delivers order in 36 minutes is ridiculous. Manager promised refund and never deliver or respond.Initial Complaint

I went into the Popeyes with my family meaning wife and kids and wanted to place a order for dining inside. I saw a Popeyes employee come out the bathroom after waiting for more than 6-7 minutes for help with no greeting from anyone that was working there. I saw the employee wash her hands in the kitchen or behind the counter rather. She did not wash her hands before leaving out of the bathroom. She then approached the counter to take our order and did not greet us but just looked at us like she didn't even want to take our order. So then we left because we felt like this was unacceptable. The part that bothers us more than anything is the fact that she didn't wash her hands before leaving out of the restroom. We were glad that she did wash her hands some point of time but what if the food or something she touched in the kitchen could have gotten contaminated before she decided to actually wash her hands. There has been so many issues at this Popeyes location for years now. We have witnessed so many issues happer there but have chosen to let it go in the past. This was the final issue that we could tolerate. We felt a need to finally speak out. This location is one of the worse in *********, ** metropolitan area. My family and I stopped at this Popeyes location while traveling a week ago. The time was 11:00am when we stopped and the time was 10:00am. When we approached the door to enter, the door was locked. There was a male inside that would not open the dining room. He came to the door to unlock the door but when we returned to the door, the door was still locked. We also tried to go through the drive thru and he was not taking orders in the drive thru either. The door stated that they open at 10am on Sundays. This was Sunday morning when we stopped by. We also noticed online that they have false advertising online by stating that they are open 24/7 and they are not. This Popeyes is being managed very poorly.Initial Complaint

Went thru Drive-Thru on 06/21/2023 at 12:43 noon to purchase kid's meal for my 9 year old. I was asked at the drive thru speaker if I would like to add on a biscuit. I replied yes. Also, I ordered a 2-piece snack mild ************* Total came to $14.62. I paid for with cash. I was still waiting in drive thru because the extra biscuit paid for was not in the bag. Another rude crew member, who possibly was the shift manager asked the drive thru employee "what problem is at the window". I replied the problem is that I didn't get the extra biscuit I paid for. The rude manager then said "you are holding up my drive thru just for a biscuit. I then said " so what, I paid for my food so give me my biscuit. Also, my child beverage was not made. I ATTEMPTED TO MAKE A PURCHASE AT Popeyes Chicken located at ***********************************************, ******* *****. TRYING TO PLACE MY ORDER, AND I SAID PLEASE GIVE ME A SECOND SIR, WHEN I TRIED TO GIVE MY ORDER TO THE DRIVE THRU OPERATOR, THEY WERE VERY RUDE AND REFUSED TO TAKE MY ORDER AND TOLD ME I WAS BEING DISRESPECTFUL. HOW AM I BEING DISRESPECTFUL, I ASKED? IF I SAID THANK YOU SIR, OR CAN YOU GIVE ME A ME SECOND SIR, I WAS UNAWARE OF WHAT THEY WANTED TO BE ADDRESSED AS SINCE THE ***** DID SOUND DEEP LIKE A MALE AND I WAS NOT GREETED WITH A NAME AND I CANNOT SEE WHAT THE PERSON LOOKS LIKE BECAUSE I WAS IN THE DRIVE THRU LINE TRYING TO GIVE MY ORDER THROUGH THE SPEAKER. THEY REFUSED TO SERVE ME, AND WHEN I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANGER, THEY ALSO CLAMMED TO BE THE MANGER AND REFUSED TO GIVE ME A NAME, THIS WAS THE MOST DISSPOINTING AWFUL POOR CUSTOMER SERVICES I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I LFET WITHOUT BEING SERVED. All I WAS WANTING TO DO WAS GET SOME FOOD FOR MY KIDS AFTER A LONG DAY AT WORK. The employees treated us poorly based on our skin color. They made me and my family feel unsafe. If I weren't afraid to have done so, I would have recorded and/or taken photos. Gangster disciples were in and out of the store, some employees and some not. They were selling drugs. Those individuals were offered free food and drink while we paid for food that we didn't receive fully or correctly after waiting 30 minutes. What we did receive was not edible. A receipt for our charge was also not provided, but our bank transactions show a charge of $44.12.There were also prostitutes in the parking lot. These people belong in jail and not at Popeyes. I expect a refund for the service we paid for but did not receive and will be filing a complaint with the BBB following the completion of this form. This restaurant filled a drive-thru order of $34.10 with undercooked raw chicken tenders. We do not live close to the restaurant so didn't return immediately to resolve. We needed edible food quickly for our family gathering so ran to Publix for chicken. I utilized Popeyes feedback process via online as provided on their receipt. A ***** Care Agent emailed me that I could receive a refund by taking my receipt to the restaurant for management within 14 days. I did so and the manager refused to provide refund. No establishment should serve raw chicken tenders for $34 and refuse to refund their patron.
