I had a negative experience with Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. Online Order# ** on April 21, 2023 at the ************** ** location. I went to pick up my order, some of the items were out of stock. I was informed that I would have to obtain a refund for these items online, not in store. Once I arrived home, I immediately contacted Popeyes customer service to obtain a refund for my missing items. While on the phone with the representative, we discovered more items were missing from our bag. The rep heard our frustration, and kindly offered a full refund for our entire order since we were so dissatisfied. We gladly accepted that offer. Soon, the customer service rep realized that our full order was $83.40, she said that she was not able to process that refund, but she will escalate it to the next level and we will get a refund in 3 to 5 business days. Popeyes had reached out to us via email requesting photo proof of our missing items. After 2 weeks had passed we certainly did not have any photo evidence of our missing items. I contacted customer service by phone again and had the most dissatisfying customer service experience of my life. The **** ****** told me that the other rep was wrong to offer me a full refund, as that is not something they do. I kindly asked for an exception since this was what THEY offered me, not something I requested, and pointed out that they should better train their reps and should listen to the recorded conversation we had as proof. After 30 mins and repeated requests for a supervisor, I was connected to the alleged "highest person at guest services" who was the rudest rep I have ever encountered. She was defensive, condescending, seemed to have no time for me, and told me she is only offering what ***** mentioned - a refund for our missing items, not a full refund. I refused to accept that offer and asked for my promised full refund, and she told me "I'm ending the call" and hung up on me.Thank you kindly for your time.Initial Complaint

I worked for Popeyes a few weeks. My first check was supposed to be 6/6/23. It was supposed to be direct deposited in my account. I did not receive nothing in my account that day so I contacted the district manager (*****). She told me that one of the managers at the Popeyes store will go to ********** and pick *********** and it would be after 2:00 that day. So I messaged around 6. :00 p.m. and she told me that nobody could go get it that day. **** say I called the owner ****** of Popeyes and he gives me the runaround and is super rude to me about wanting my paycheck. So he finally says that he will go pick it up from ********** and bring it to me and meet me personally that day Saturday 6/10/23. He told me he was about to be on his way and then he ghosted me. So I emailed the boss over ****** and he told me that he was at the *************** store. Not to mention I didn't get my check until 6 days after the day im supposed to receive it. They only paid me for one week which the check was supposed to have 2 weeks on it. They got my name wrong on my check and also my address which tells me that they just threw it together. I had a trying experience at the ********* franchise location on Sunday, May 14, that started at approximately 1:30 pm. After placing my order quickly, I waited for what was at least 5 minutes before I pulled to the window to be asked for my order again. After they said they got it, they asked me to wait another 5 minutes in a parking spot. This turned into a 20 minute wait. During this, I filed a complaint with the Popeye's online support's rude chat bot. I decided to come in to the restaurant to discover my order was forgotten. I demanded a refund.As I waited, the staff escalated the issue by trying to excuse themselves for the mistake(s). They expected pity for being understaffed and having to work on a holiday. Ownership left them in that situation and I was left losing time on the holiday. To tell me, "I have been here since 7 am" when it was 2 pm was insulting. I work 8 hour days like most people, to tell me it is a struggle insults the efforts I put in to earn a living. I did not want excuses after an apology, I wanted to leave with my money.Online support eventually followed up with me via email. I provided my story to only be met with the time I lost to spend with my family 90 miles away was to sign up for their rewards program to get online bonuses and only could be ordered online. This only further infuriated me. I let my discontent be known on my ******* account (@catbusruss) and they posted my complaint on their timeline. The social media team asked me to direct message them with my tale, and I did so, only to never hear a response from them.Their awful customer service seems to be at all levels of their corporate structure. I have been insulted and ignored by them and only through escalating to higher authorities will I think their actions will be changed. I lost time on that holiday for no product. I do not want this to happen to anyone else. Physical compensation is the only means to make me consider purchasing their products.Initial Complaint

Tuesday June 6,2023 $18.08 spent I came on lunch to get food , the food was cold and side was inaccurate. When I called I was told to bring the food back with the receipt. I told them I was at work. When I returned I explained that to them and the guy tells me duh its not fresh now if you ordered it at one I told him I know that and why I was told he goes to say f*** you b**** and slams the window in my face keeps my food and my receipt. Upon going in the manger Id justify what he said and the fact that she alleges hes a minor. Him being a minor doesnt justify his behavior and being disrespectful. If she knw he was a minor she shouldve came and handle the initial situation to begin with. She starts saying you are a piece of s*** f*** you and get out my store I later find out from the other employees that thats her son and instead of handling the situation from a mangers perspective with a paying customer she got disrespectful trying to defend her son which is wrong she needs to be fired and her son. Thats why family or mother and son shouldnt work together. Both of them were very disrespectful and this needs to be handled accordingly. I was told by the other employees thats she is nasty to black people when they come in she looks at use with disgust.Initial Complaint

I went to the Popeyes chicken restaurant in ********, ** on May 28 2023 I order a mango chilled lemonade I order ahead I had to tell the lady my order number and details obviously she never bothered to look at the order. 10 minutes later she smack down a cup of room temperature lemonade no ice. It cost **** with taxes. I want a refund just terrible. But as I was leaving I witnessed a bigger problem a huge rat came out from behind the count and try to bite the gentleman's foot who was eating at ****************. On May 14th I visit Popeyes in ******* with a group heading to a trail ride. We all order chicken and got to the field to eat the chicken was spoiled. However,I reached out to the main office and ******* reply was to sign up for some type of membership to receive points. My reply was I'm not signing up for anything like that. She then replied that she will refer my case to another agent and that took place on the May 15th. She said it will take ***** to reply. The location at store ******************************************************************** is horrible. They have poor ***************** I went into the store to place an order at the counter. 8pc family meal, w/mashed potato and gravy, 6 ghost pepper wings, red beans and rice $33.67. The lady bagged up my order passed it to me. I was led to believe it was correct. Got to my location and they did not give me my ghost pepper wings. So I called the store on my receipt. I had attempted to tell the man who answered what had happened over 4 times, then was placed on hold for over 6 minutes. Then when the lady came on line I attempted to tell her what happened and then was placed on hold again... then when they came back on the phone they were playing and I was hung up on... I try to support the local business but this is not acceptable... especially when I'm paying you for a product and you are failing to provide the product or **************** andd satisfaction. I waited in the drive through for over an hour at the Popeyes on ************ Im ******* *********** for a six piece wings
