I went to this Popeyes on **** around 9:40 pm. I ordered a family meal with 2 large sides. At the time I had a coupon for *****. I asked for a mashed potatoe and red beans and rice as the side. Because it was late and I was on my way to pick my daughter up. The two guys at the window scrambled and kept saying something to each other and asking me over and over my sides I stated the same sides. I didn't check my bag at the time because I had to leave but I did ask for a receipt which took 7 minutes to get. When I got home Not only did I not get my mashed potatoes but I got an upcharge for Macaroni and Cheese that I didn't ask for nor received that in a way is stealing. I'm not pleased with the customer service, not getting my item and being upcharged. I called today to which the female never let me speak with the manager that I asked for but she also placed me on an extremely long hold which is unacceptable.Initial Complaint

I placed an order with **** Eats for my husband because he left his lunch at home. Normally, there is an add note on Uber eats that you can put special instructions in. So, I called the store asking if the meat could be all dark. I spoke to ****** who was very unpleasant to talk to. Her attitude was extremely nasty. She said you didnt see that option on there. I said no maam or else I wouldnt be calling. She said well its there. I asked if she can make sure ********* hot sauce and Cajun sparkle in the bag. She said we dont put anything in the bag unless you pay $0.10. I said maam I would pay that how can I get you the money. She said give it to the driver whos picking up the order. My husband works on ******************** and I work in **********, ** how can I give my the driver $0.10. Im ordering Uber Eats for a reason. I asked to speak to the manger. She refused several times to put the manager on the phone but decided to tell me and I quote The managers name is ******* and she dont make the rules What? Imagine going to ********* ordering fries asking for ketchup and they tell you no unless you pay $0.10. That rule is absolutely ridiculous. Since, when condiments become an extra charge. I asked for 1 pack of hot sauce for the chicken, 1 pack of honey for the biscuit and Cajun Sparkle. There is a way to do things and there is also a way to talk to customers. ****** dont deserve to be in ***************** After, talking to her I felt like a piece of scum on the ground. I ordered online from Popeyes chicken. Upon arrival I was told they didnt have any dark meat chicken nothing but chicken breast. I told them I wanted a refund cause I dont eat chicken breast. I went to Popeye's Chicken on North ****** Street on March 5, 2023. Employees were cleaning windows outside and told me not to come into the building but to go through the drive through. I placed my order and paid at the drive through and was told to wait in the parking lot for my food. After twenty minutes watching other customers go into the restaurant and get orders, I went in to check on mine. I was told it was almost ready. When the food was ready, it was given to a customer who came in after me. The employee apologized and asked if I wanted a refund. I said yes and she asked me to put my card in the card reader. It looked like it was charging me for the order again but she assured me it was a refund. The money ($48.07) was taken out of my bank account twice, so it was NOT a refund. I contacted my bank and Popeye's several times but no one will help. I would like a refund of both charges.Initial Complaint

On March 10, Friday evening around 6: 45 pm. I went to purchase a 5 piece meal with 2 sides and 2 biscuits for $10.81 (total with tax) based on their coupon offered on their Popeyes app. Upon paying for my purchase the employees were having an issue with their machine which they prompted to insert my card 3 times due to an "error." After checking my bank account I realized they had charged me twice. ( The charges said $10.81 and $11.08). One was for the meal offered from the app ($10.00) but there was another charge of $11.08 that the manager "*******" entered into the cash register which was not the price from the actual app that was promoted. After going back into the store to let them know they charged me 2 different times; both the employees (***** and ******* (manager) refused to give a refund. Arguing with me & stating that what they did was right. ******* (manager) who could not even speak English couldn't communicate what was going on. So in the middle of my dispute she walks off on me to the back to get another employee by the name of ****** who was even more disrespectful. I told them this was my hard earned money and I want a refund because they charged me twice and I was ready to go on with my night. Instead all 3 of the employees stood at the counter arguing with me the customer about my money and the mistake they made. I then hear ******* (manager) saying to ****** under her breath "la comida, la comida." Which I know means "food" in spanish, so she was telling him what to say. The employee "******" then went on to tell me that "you can get your refund but you have to give the food back because that just the policy" with a smirk on his face.I was completely appalled and couldn't believe that they were this rude and disrespectful to a customer. Why would I bring my food back in when Popeyes charged me twice with it ending up in a total of $21.89? I want these employees dealt with and I want a full refund for this inconvenience.Initial Complaint

I received a $25 gift card that will not work when swiping or by typing in card number. I have tried at several locations and doesnt work. I have called the ************ number on the card and was told that there was $25 still available. Well I know this because it has never worked. I spoke with a representative who said she put in a claim but I have heard nothing in over a week. I called again today and was transferred to another number and was on hold for over 40 minutes at that point I hung up. This is ridiculous that I have to chase down money and get know where. I would like my $25 dollars and should get more for the extreme inconvenience and my personal time waisted!!
