Popeyes did not provide a blackend chicken sandwich as requested on the app. Further, no sauces were provided and Popeyes offered a refund. The bag was closed at pick up so I could not inspect the order. When Popeyes was notified via the app, they gave a refund and then rescinded their refund and charged more money, $12.18. I want a full refund of $12.18 and a $20 gift certificate in the form a gift card.Initial Complaint

On November 4, ****, I went to the restaurant to order food. No one else in the drive- thru. I placed my order and stated I wanted fresh chicken strips. She told me it would be a 10 minute wait and asked me to pull in the front and she will bring my order out. As I am waiting for my order, 5 more cars come and go. It is 20 minutes now and my order is still not out. I go in to see what is taking so long. I see a manager and two workers in the lobby talking. I asked about my food and I was told it will be a 3 minute wait after I waited 20 minutes. I asked for a refund. The manager **** and the other manager gave me attitude. It told me my refund would be 3-5 business days before the $18.71 would be back on my card. I waited and no refund. I called to advise the District manager. She told me my refund can take up to 10 business days dependingon my bank. I waited the time and till this day, I still have yet to receive my refund. She said I would have to dispute it with my bank. I would have received it by now if **** did the refund correct. At this point, I am not even sure if I will receive my money back. My whole experience with the employees and management was not a good experience. All I ask is for my refund.Initial Complaint

10/31 Ordered 12pc chicken and 6 biskets paid over ***** got 4 biscuits and only 1 breast in my 12pc. when we got home and called store to complain we where informend usually get 3 breast but it's up to if they have them or half enough. Filed complaint at Popeyes it's been a month .promises to fix promise to call from a manager..nothing posted my complaint on there ************ university south store website over 600 views still no response. I paid $45 for my food, which when received I was missing items, and the food items I did receive were incorrect. I went back into the business to try to have the food corrected, and waited for an hour. I asked for a refund at this point and was given $4.80. They refused to give me anymore of a refund. I called their corporate number and she was of no help. The manager was yelling at me and other customers as there were multiple issues with multiple issues. I spend over an hour and half trying to get food. I have a video recording of the incident, must it need be provided.Initial Complaint

11-26-22 we ordered 2 chicken boxes, potatoes were runny and chicken was undercooked. We ate only a little and had to throw it away, on 11-27-22@ 5:00 am, we both woke up with fevers, sneezing runny noses, chest pain. This was at the Popeyes at *********************************************************************** store #*****, we're both getting a COVID test, but we at least would like a full refund of $20.31. So I had a problem at the start of the month with the Popeyes in *********** **** I emailed the coperate offices and ******************************* and told she was sending out ***** on Popeyes gift cards I have been emailing her back for 2 weeks now and she has not responded since November 4th when she promised me she was sending out the gift cards and I have not recedived anything and she had not responded to Me in 2 weeks at all now because of the inciveince and her not responding back I want a ***** gift card this is ridiculousInitial Complaint

Ordered food at Popeyes drive thru #**** because the doors were locked for lobby when I arrived at 9 pm, order taker was rude to begin with, they were only serving fries and tenders (guessing these have been in a warmer since this morning) my issue is- the order taker was also preparing the food with no gloves, then touching her headset and face, then back to the food, the biscuit fell and she picked it up and threw it in the box, came to window grabbed my payment then went back to the food. When asked about why she wasnt wearing gloves and was she the only one there she was very rude threw card back and said call corporate. Corporate doesnt do anything! $24 of food that is not safe to eat, if it was even edible! The food was hard cold and sitting out for all day at this location. This is a common occurrence at this location, unsanitary conditions, rude hostile employees, and you can only order one or 2 items from the menu because they dont want to make a fresh batch. I was told No spicy chicken wings, no sandwiches, only thing avail was tenders.Initial Complaint

I placed my order through the app, only to arrive and have to wait for 20 mins in the drive thru at the ***********, ****************************** location, just to reach the order area (because the restaurant had locked the doors and would not allow anyone inside) only to be told that they did not have any of the food I ordered. No chicken sandwiches, no chicken tenders, and they were out of the sides I ordered. Then I was told that I would have to cancel the order through to app and request a refund. So now my funds are tied up! This was a complete waste of my gas and my time! I am an extremely dissatisfied customer would like a credit for future dinner for my family for the inconvenience that this has caused. Gift card purchased May, 2, 2022 in the amount of $20.00 and it does not work when presented to stores in ************, **. The store that it was purchased # ***-2350, located at **************************************************************. Told me that is was working, but when I tired to use it again if failed to process my transaction.I have contacted customer service and they informed me to return the defective card to the store for replacement or refund. Which I did.I am seeking my $20.00 or a new card.
