Popeyes #**** **************************. Advertising buy chicken sandwich get one free. I spent 10 minutes trying to complete the order through the app. It kept telling me to add the required items to complete order. I looked for terms of sale and couldn't find required items listed. I went to the restaurant and asked for assistance. There was nobody else in line behind me. The cashier simply shrugged her shoulders at me and said NOTHING when I explained to her the situation. She didn't apologize or acknowledge that she couldn't be of assistance...her silence and body language spoke loudly saying to me the customer...I don't care. This is horrible service. She could have told me specifically if there were other items I needed to add to receive the offer. The app was very unclear. Popeyes need to retrain their staff on customer service and general friendliness to the customer. I desire a refund of a check for **** be refunded to me at the address provided.Initial Complaint

I went to Popeyes Store #***** on 11/7/22 around 4:43PM and ordered a 2 can dine for **** totaling *****. I went back home where I reside in ***********,** and opened my food to find a chicken sandwich, tenders and fries. I called their store number at *****************; I spoke with ***** the general manager. I spoke with her about my situation she stated to bring the receipt and come in tomorrow and we can settle it. Fast forward to today 11/8/2022 I took my lunch break to go to Popeyes Store #***** I spoke with *****. Suddenly she only speaks Spanish as I was retelling the situation that we spoke on the phone. She had to get a translator named ******. In this process the general manager is speaking over me in Spanish to the translator. She doesnt understand that I know perfect Spanish, and I knew clearly what she was saying but the part that I made me that as a general manager you were speaking over your customer, and ****** isnt giving me a chance to speak. She stated that on the phone yesterday she told me to bring the food with the receipt. Maybe the next day she realized that that wouldve been a better option however, at the time yesterday all she said was to bring the receipt and I told her I will be coming from work and she said thats perfectly fine. Just bring the receipt and well handle it. I told her that the way that she was handling the situation was very inappropriate as a general manager and truly believes that she should be reported. I think being a general manager is important that you should be able to communicate with customers that come in your store and be able to rectify. The issue is the best way you can, but to be blatantly rude shows me that thats not the position for her. This is for a meal thats not even *************************************************************************** ********************** customer service that they would display a manager as this way.Initial Complaint

We went to the location on ****** and ************* in **** **. We stood in line on Friday night and we ordered the 2 of the chicken for $16.99 and $16.99 and the mashed potatoes and gravy and macaroni and cheese. We paid $50.00 dollars for all our food and when we got it home . My husband noticed that the mashed potatoes and gravy and macaroni and cheese were thrown in the bag . And the bottom of the 2 boxes of chicken were soggy and the chickens were wings and breast and the cashier never asked what kind of chicken we wanted and the chicken tasted funny and smelled. We said larges on potatoes and gravy and macaroni and cheese. The macaroni and cheese were in small boxes and i called the manager on the same day and she said we don't have any large containers. And she was rude to me. And i asked the guy manager if i can have my money back because they short changed me and said you need your receipts and he was rude to me too. They act like they don't care about there chicken or customer's. We just want our money back please. We are recovering from covid and we are on oxygen. And im in a wheelchair and they are taking advantage of disabled couple. We are on social security disability. It happen on 09/21/2022.This restaurant that sales chicken as its main food sold me burnt chicken. I'm asking for a refund because serving burnt chicken is bad. The increase in all items these days to have restaurant sale poor products is unacceptable. I've contacted their customer service department and all I got was the run around. Nobody is taking responsibility for selling burnt Chicken. Popeyes thinks ok to sell high price chicken burnt. No, that is unacceptable on all levels.Initial Complaint

Location In Reference: ***** veterens memorial drive,******* ***** I purchased a mobile order I went into the location provided the cashier with the order number which was #** she then told me I would have to show her my phone ,I went to my car showed her my phone which was inconvenient but i proceeded to wait for the food she said it would take ********************************* mild ,i then ask for a cup of water but when i looked in it it was something black so i dumbed it out and asked her for just a cup of ice she then with an attitude says i just gave you water I said can I please have a cup of ice she told me no i then asked just to pay for a drink and she said no so i asked for a refund and for her bosses phone number and her name and her exact words were f*** you im not giving you s*** and you cant get a refund i am the manager so i started eating some of the food and immediately felt sick i look at the food and its ************** running from the chicken ..I called customer service and allowed 24 hrs for a call back still havnt heard from anyone i went to my doctor and was diagnosed with food poisoning this is unacceptable and i will be waiting gor something to get done ************** soaked in the bisquit it was so grossInitial Complaint

On October 27, 2022 I order from Popeyes located on ***************** in ********** **********. This Popeyes has a bad habit of running out of stuff and not allowing people to cancel orders. I paid about $25 for a five piece spicy chicken meal And three sides. They did not give me my Cajun fries. They also ran out of spicy chicken and gave me regular chicken. The way they operate is unethical,its nasty and disgraceful. I wish that if I ordered from the Popeyes app, it would give me another location. I would like a refund because I clearly stated on my instructions no substitutes and they gave me substitutions, which is not OK. The order number was 37. On Oct 14th I went to the popeyes in *********** ** and ordered dinner for my family I wanted spicy chicken biscuits Cajun rice and **************** and ordered an extra large **** slaw it was the 11 piece family meal lus 2 spicy chicken sandwhiches and 2 large pops I spent ***** on dinner. Got home an hour away didn't have any biscuits non of rhe chicken was spicy it was dirty rice not canjun and the coleslaw was warm and spoiled 3 hours trying to call store noone would answer called cooperate complaint said I'd get my money back in 3 days someone would contact me its been 3 weeks 4 more calls still no call back no money backInitial Complaint

I went to visit the location in ***** **** ************** ***** on 10/19/@ 3 pm the worker were so nasty and rude and I called the location to try and make a complaint but they hung up on me so rudely I cant believe it it had me in shock I was trying g to by food and needed to use ************* but they lied saying the bathrooms were broken I will never come back to this place or any other Popeyes this was the worst they all are nasty and they take all the food home for them selfs they need a whole new staff Im this location I hate they way they made me feel Im in shock I will dont appreciate the service they give and the Where they make their customers feel is absurdInitial Complaint

I have been through the drive through in *******, ** on ******** a number of times. Here like the last couple of months, I would pull up through the drive through and employees are sitting outside in a car backed up in the parking lot with a red stripe on it, sitting there smoking in the vehicle/hanging out around it smoking! When they see the car pull up, they go inside and you can tell, NO ONE is washing there hands! I WILL NEVER go to that Popeyes again unless they get rid of those nasty employees and hire a new crew!!! I have a picture of them sitting in the car this afternoon, smoking! Also, 1 employee was by the entrance door smoking when I pulled up today. When I pulled up, she went inside, I went up to the drive through and left. I didnt even place an order. There was a van behind me and left right before me. Again, I have a picture of the 2 employees sitting in a car smoking. On multiple occasions the employees are hanging outside in/by a black car smoking on the clock. Dont you think since theyre on the clock, they could make use of their time and find SOMETHING in the restaurant to do? Must be nice to get paid to hang around outside!!! How unsanitary can you get???!!!!! This Popeyes has gotten very nasty since Covid. I emailed this to Popeyes communication email address and I have yet to hear back from anyone.Thank you,****
