I used this service once and realized it is not worth the money so attempted to cancel it but had to wait until a later date considering I was working and they, of course, don't allow you to cancel online, you must call. Not even a full day after I was billed the ridiculous price for an average service (because I didn't have a chance to call before the billing date) I canceled my subscription and the agent on the phone tried keeping me a customer with a discounted price and also refused to give me a refund, before hanging up on me at the end of the call. Avoid at all costs, no different than ********* or credit karma which is free, the only difference being they ripped me off money. Complete scam.

Equifax should be closed down. They are one of the number one credit reporting companies and they provide completely bogus information. They are claiming that I owe over 107% credit utilization on my credit card, stating that I owe $10,000 that I do not owe. I've disputed it with them several times and even the information that they gave me in the results of one of the disputes states a different amount due but they still have not corrected it. TransUnion and Experian reflect the correct amount but Equifax is reflecting a bogus amount. They are stating that I owe more than my credit limit and their lack of doing a professional job is preventing me from getting a loan in the amount that I'm requesting. They are ruining my credit and it seems as though they are enjoying every minute of it. And not for nothing, They are not even located in *****************. We have foreigners handling our private information? Yeah, that doesn't seem fishy at all. They need to be shut down.

Equifax lock and alert company asked me for personal information just to change and update my phone number. He didnt speak very good English and kept asking me for more personal information to verify my account; he never updated my phone number and asked me to send my SS ***** ********* license in the mail or fax through an unknown number. This sounds like a scam and want this to be investigated. The main office is in GA but he wouldnt give me the location of this office or allow me to speak to a supervisor.

They double-billed us twice. My wife was not offered the 5. They charged her *****. I got the 5-dollar intro offer, then tried to cancel it. They asked me questions about the credit limits on my cards. My cards are dead done. I don't have access to them. I told her that she said she couldn't cancel because of that. My wife was not answered these questions. They hung up twice. I went to my bank to put a stop payment. My bank couldn't stop it because it's a web subscription I have to cancel through them. Finally got through to them and was told my money would be returned in 5 to 10 business days. They did that to my wife. They do that because all those thousands of dollars they hold up get paid interest. They make free money by doing this. They are scammers. You are not safe with them; they get hacked, and somehow they are what banks and lenders need to give you money. It's like Satan at the Gates with these jerks. How are they not shut down?

Equifax is listing a wrong social security number on my credit report which is causing me delays in getting a mortgage loan application approved. The only way that Equifax provides me to fix the incorrect social security information on their report is to make physical copies of my social security card and send that via physical mail (snail mail) to their PO box after which they will take up to 10 days to correct the information. Firstly, I do not feel comfortable sending equifax copies of my sensitive information as a physical paper copy and secondly the time delay caused by Equifax in fixing a mistake in a critical piece of information and their slow pace will cause me to miss the closing date for my home purchase. Equifax is a terrible company that is taking advantage of their unique position in the market to unfairly cause me harm. Also their phone customer ********************** is rude and unhelpful.

If I could go to zero I would. The score on my credit report is close to 800. The bank said they see it at 700. I asked how I can fix discrepancy and they said, you have to wait until your credit score goes up. I said it is close to 800. Your systems are not communicating. The response was wait and see what happens. Sorry you cant buy house. Just wait

No accountability! Pass the buck. How can one have an almost perfect credit rating, but be denied credit due to comments "written" but when we called and asked what their comments were, they denied writing anything negative. How can an 861 credit rating have any negatives???You'll never get a rep without an accent and can be easily understood.

Unable to log into my account to cancel, unable to reach anyone on the phone, its ridiculous. *** spent a total of at least 15 hours on hold over the course of 5 different attempts to reach them to cancel my account. I tried reporting my card lost to get a new number that Equifax didnt have, but after 2 months, they managed to get my new number and double charged me for the month I thought I evaded them. Sounds like the identity theft scams I was trying to protect myself from. I ultimately had to call my credit card company to file a dispute to get the charges to stop. Absolutely terrible. ********************* or time.

This is the worst company that could touch a credit report. I have been trying to get a problem resolved for the past 3 weeks and all the customer support people will do is give me a run around and say they cant help me.
