      If you read the reviews, you'll see the pattern. I've added a one-star review. The company has a website that you can never log into, pathetic customer **********************, and if you decide to cancel you product with them, good luck. They require you to jump through a bizarre number of hoops. Try another service and stay away from this questionable company.

      Equifax ****** has continued to fraudulently charge my credit card for three months since I cancelled my subscription. Calling them does literally nothing. I have no ability to cancel online. The representatives that I continue to call keep saying it has been cancelled and will work this time but it never does, and they continue to take my money.

      I followed their instructions to file a death notice for my mother, including enclosure of a $13 certified death certificate. Two weeks later I received a letter asking me to submit a copy of the death certificate. I called the number provided two times. The first representative said she would put me on hold momentarily for a consultation. She hung up on me. The second representative was clearly reading from a script and could not help me. I asked to speak with his supervisor. Again, there was no attempt to look up the notice or do anything other that read from a prepared script.

      Equifax by far has the WORST customer ********************** I have ever experienced! After asking to be transferred to a representative in the *** due to the language barrier, I spoke with 2 managers ***** ID ******, and ************** both of which could not properly explain their processes and why they were in place. I have fraud protection on my account and as a result my credit score doesn't populate. I literally just found out this was the case and was dealing with a time sensitive matter. I spent an hour on the phone going over VERY personal information to verify I am who I say I am, and had also sent in proof of identity in Sept of 2022, only to be told today that I have to send it in again because it expired and that was never explained before. When I asked why this process was in place the the validity of it seeing as though nothing has changed with what was already sent in I ******** who was extremely rude and fast talking tells me that he is giving me a warning because we are talking in circles. I asked to speak with another manager 6 times and he refused and then hung up on me. Instead of him just telling me he doesn't know why these processes are in place, or showing empathy or a workaround for how this could be expedited given the urgency of the matter, he chose to be rude and aggressive while barely speaking in a matter that could be understood. I asked where they were located and he refused to give me that information as well. This is just flat out the most backyard, shady esq operation I have ever come in contact with and they need to go out of business just for their customer ********************** and inability to resolve issues for customers alone.

      A landlord required a single copy of my credit report. I signed on to Equifax and found it easy to pay for a copy, pay and sign off. Somehow I obvious got signed up for a lifetime of Equifax and every month over the past two years they have used my **** card to pay a monthly fee. Ive attempted to cancel this subscription on the Equifax website. Im not an idiot and am able to work through most websites. Not the Equifax site. Ive given up a number of times. My personal **** card became compromised and I was issued a new card and thought this would put an end this monthly payment. NO! After a couple of months Equifax started billing my new Credit Card. Unless people absolutely must get a credit report, DO NOT USE EQUIFAX!

      I got my wife and I the premiere service to check our credit regularly, they never let me log in, kept getting an error page that my account info was wrong, I spent months trying to fix this problem! I gave up and I called to cancel my services and get a refund since I was never able to use their service, 3 different customer ********************** reps could not help me, supervisor hung up on me, still waiting for the second supervisor to call me this was a week ago! One for taking your money but completely crooked how they wont make a refund in. Product of theirs that doesnt work, the service reps were beyond useless after 30 minutes explaining why Im calling he had the nerve to offer me a 50 dollar package while laughing! Super disappointing vompany

      they continue charging after you cancel subscription!
      I cancelled my subscription with them on 20 July 2021 and they still charged my expired credit card. They send me an email confirming the cancellation. They kept charging me for months after that. I called them three times, but no action, finally they emailed me again on 22 Oct 2022 confirming the re-cancellation. I asked them to refund me for the months charges, otherwise, I will publish that they steal money, the customer service told me: "please go ahead and publish it." they do not care about their reputation.

      Absolutely horrible customer service! I can't believe a company like this is in existence and it gets to manage our credit!! I have been disputing the same item since 2018. The item has never been updated on my credit report, the bank changed names but according to equifax thats what the bank reported to them..... the wrong name. I easily had this item removed from my other 2 reports but not equifax, they continue to report incorrectly which all of us have to suffer for!! Meanwhile they keep on making money while pushing the consumer down!! If you own a business please don't ever use these scam artists for anything! They should be put out of business period!

      I wish I could give a zero rating. Offering $4.95 for the 1st month then $19.95 thereafter online. Apparently the offer expired but the website still shows the offer. I was charged 4.95 plus tax on my credit card but it didn't activate my account because the offer is expired and customer service can't/won't honor it. All they can do is charge me $19.95 and activate my account and I have to wait 7-10 days for a refund. For a business that is supposed to prevent fraud THIS IS PRETTY SCAMMY. Complete BS
