      I called Equifax and they refused me access to my To my credit report online I have an existing account and Equifax is denying me saying I do not I have an existing account and I do Equifax is violating my civil rights are not letting me get access to my credit report or deny me the online portal

      Like the previous reviews, getting your name updated is impossible. I have called multiple times and provided all the information needed to update this. They need to be federally investigated for mishandling information and causing people from being able to purchase a home. This is beyond frustrating. When I do call, I am placed on hold or hung up on, this is not customer **********************. I have been on hold wanting to speak to a supervisor and they are purposefully placing me on a long hold. This is beyond upsetting, a simple name change so I can just get qualified for a home loan. Their way of doing things is completely outdated and not with the times. this is unacceptable, they should allow people to change their personal information without their help if they do not want to be helpful. They are literally causing me to miss out on making offers for homes and finding a home. This should be illegal, they should be fined for this. American people deserve better and if you're gonna hold people's livelihoods hostage, you might as well be transparent. Every representative I have spoken to has provided me with terrible and misleading information. One representative lied and said she fixed the problem. All she did was create a fake dispute and complete it. Misleading, no transparency, and no honesty. Equifax needs to educate its staff on issues and how to handle them. Lying and pretending to fix an issue is just beyond unacceptable. They are a shady business, I can't believe this is legal and that they're the ones responsible for credit reports.

      Unable to log into my Equifax account. Contacted Equifax numerous times with no resolution. They kept telling me that my case would be escalated, but I NEVER received any follow-up communication. Requested a copy of my credit report to be mailed and found out they mailed it to an old address. Finally, spoke with a supervisor and he confirmed my current mailing address and mailed me another copy. Still NO RESOLUTION!! After months of attempting to recover access to my account, I still have no access. VERY UNSECURE!!

      These credit report agencies are not fair to our human rights. I am tired. They don't even have correct information in the system. Our Law needs to step up and do something. I understand if you want to be in businesses at least do the right thing. Be all equal with the credit scores and information. In that way we can relax little. Thank you ??.

      Updating my personal information on Equifax has taken me 3 weeks, 2 fax messages, 9 calls and I still haven't been able to get them to update my name despite providing ALL the documentation they require. It has been one of the most painful experiences I've had with any customer ********************** team! Horrible experience

      Equifax is the most unprofessional slugs in the industry. I had an account placed on my report ( which was not my account ) I filed a dispute with Equifax, that's when the fun started. Their so called investigation began. It took me exactly 1 day to contact the reporting party and resolve the matter. They sent Equifax an electronic request stating the account in dispute was not mine and requested it be removed from my Equifax report. Equifax says they are investigating the matter which I already resolved for them and the account in dispute is still on my credit report. So fed-up with dealing with incompetent people.

      When trying to recover my online account password, getting the same error message "We have experienced an issue processing your request... Please contact our ************* Team...". I contacted said team three times within a week and each time I was assured that my account has been unlocked and I should be able to recover my password by providing my personal info. Never worked out! In the meantime, they managed to sell me that monthly premier plan subscription but I can't even access my online product because I can't login to my account. I requested the last rep to send me a secure email link so that I can download the product but they said Equifax does not provide a secure email facility. So I paid for nothing!... And now I am going to start the plan cancellation process and request a refund but based on ************************'s 1 star review of 10/19/2022 - I AM NOT HOPEFUL AT ALL. Maybe I will just pay a visit to their VP of **** Relations and give them a notice at law as woman to (wo)man!

      Equifax is reporting incorrect information on my credit report. Equifax is the only credit bureau I am having issues with when it comes to disputing and reaching out to about how they are incorrectly reporting my credit. Some how Equifax has deleted a revolving account from my credit and dropped my credit score 31 points. My husband and I are currently in the process of trying to purchase a home and because of this error; we are at a stand still. I dont understand how they can do this. I submitted a complaint through the credit card company where I currently have the revolving account with and they assured me that Equifax would have this corrected in 3 business days. Well quests what nothing has changed and they have yet to reinstate the tradeline back to my credit report. I called and spoke with a rep there and she stated I never had an account of such on my credit report. I have documents verifying the tradeline for the past year and as early as 11.3.22. The tradeline was removed on 11.5.22. How is this right and how is this fair? Now we have to wait on purchasing a home all because of their error.

      This is specifically for the site myEquifax.Com They have my name spelled wrong. I submitted a dispute, uploaded supporting documents including my license, and they just closed the dispute without changing anything. I also called them to discuss the results of no action, and they said they couldnt see any disputes in my file and then just left me on hold for over an hour. Terrible service!!!

      I have an account in collections. I paid over half on this collection. Equifax is still reporting the collection as unpaid. I filed a dispute and ask about why my report still shows unpaid. I was not disputing the balance. They lowered my scored 35 points for filing this dispute. I called and spoke with a supervisor that I could not understand. He was no help and said nothing they can do to help me.
