      I am a victim of identity fraud and have been trying to obtain my Equifax Canada credit report since July 2024. Despite repeated attempts to resolve this issue, I am still unable to access my report or get any meaningful updates. I have contacted Equifax multiple times, and each time I am told that the issue will be resolved in 1-10 business days. However, each time this deadline passes, I receive no follow-up or resolution.Key Issues:Lack of Follow-Through: I am repeatedly told to wait for 1-10 business days for a resolution, but each time the timeline passes, there is no follow-up or update. This has been going on for several months without resolution.Missing Ticket Numbers and No Record Keeping: Despite being given ticket numbers for my inquiries, agents have been unable to locate or reference past tickets. This causes significant delays and suggests poor internal record-keeping and a lack of accountability.Unresolved Identity Fraud Issue: As a victim of identity fraud, I need immediate access to my credit report to monitor any potential fraudulent activities. The continued delays are preventing me from protecting myself.Unjustified Charges: I have been charged monthly for a service that I am not receiving. I have repeatedly attempted to cancel or resolve this, but the charges have continued without any clear explanation or acknowledgment from Equifax.

      Equifax sent out dud cards my husband and I were both supposed to receive compensation through a lawsuit however the cards they sent out were not able to be used without a pin which they did not provide

      My Equifax report is mixed up with another account. I am trying resolve it more than a year. Unfortunately Equifax employees doesn't want to help customers. I don't know how many disputes and complaints registered over a year, online dispute, mail dispute. I did everything they have told me. every time single time Equifax employees told me it will be ready 3-15 business days. After I checked 15 business days, it look same. The person in my Equifax profile know that his profile is mixed up with me and he still using my credit score and credit report to take more credit cards and borrowing money from different financial institution, Equifax knows that but they let it be. They don't deserve even 1 star, people add one star for their service their is any option to review without a star. Every time when I call them different customer representatives talking, to be honest none of them doesn't know anything. They don't care about their customers, worst company in this entire planet. I still didn't get it how all the companies and government support and grow this worst company that didn't help the customers at all.

      I submitted my disputes to Equifax stating I was a victim of identify theft and my request was ignored and they said the information will stay as is. They didnt even look into it further. This is so unfair. How can they have the information breached and not even look after us???

      I sent certified documents to Equifax, these have apparently been lost. Equifax has been NO HELP at resolving the issue or attempting to resolve the issue. The documents sent have personal information. This company is horrible and it's a disgrace that when trying to update information it's impossible. DO BETTER!

      Equifax will not remove accounts created resulting from identity theft. Instead they will place it in closed account as if the fraudulent account belongs to you. I have tried asking them to remove the fraudulent account but refuses, instead asking you to provide more personal data. ********** and Experian completely deleted the same fraudulent account from my record. I think Equifax is not worthy as a credit bureau, especially after they had been a victim of being compromised themselves. I consider them part of the problem and should not be trusted with anyone's personal data. Why would anyone trust them is beyond me. A rating of zero is not even worth giving.

      If I could give them 0 stars I would. My identity was stolen and in one day someone applied for 8 credit cards and 2 car loans. I spent an entire day calling banks to get them cancelled. Called all the major credit bureaus to remove the hard inquiries, place a credit freeze, and report fraud. Called the *** to establish a pin and report fraud. And called the *** who said a criminal case cannot be opened because they were not successful. Guess which credit bureau is the only one that will not remove the hard inquiries? Equifax says I need to mail them a police report and an *** filed report, despite me telling them multiple times that the *** said they cannot because the fraudsters were not successful. Absolutely laughable that someone can steal my identity, commit fraud, and Equifax will let me take the fall for it unless I provide them with something I physically cannot obtain. Every other bureau had zero issue with me reporting these fraudulent applications and removing the hard inquiries. The moron on the phone even gave me attitude and talked over me, eventually yelling at me that it isnt his problem because thats their policy. Glad I made him repeat his name so I could give him a horrible review after the call ended. Equifax is a scam, credit is a scam, capitalism is a scam.

      Equifax is not allowing me to access my account. Very unprofessional agent, floor supervisor, and consumer relations department. No-one is pulling calls or addressing my complaint. The error message is telling me to call and I call and noone helps me. I can not access my info
