      Equifax is using the ****** Operations Manual to eliminate the staff needed for Customer **********************. Cut the tech staff so there's no online chat, no useful online help, missing/incorrect errors and warnings then cut the Customer ********************** staff at call center so you wait longer for an overseas agent with a thick accent. All I wanted to do is verify that my Equifax account was frozen. Multiple attempts to reset a password on their unhelpful website "Try again later" never worked, I had to call Customer **********************. The agent was horrible. This needs to stop. Folks tell your credit card companies and other financial institutions what you think of Equifax! I've locked this account and now tell ************************* to use Equifax competitors if they want my business.

      With the recent ******** breach, I decided to freeze my credit reports, I was successful with no issues with Experian and TransUnion with their online services, but Equifax has been a complete failure, even with a verification code MAILED to me. This company is WORTHLESS and needs to be shut down. Equifax is a security liability to every person in ***************** and should be held liable for any person that is not able to freeze their account to protect themselves. In the case my credit is compromised and I'm damaged financially, I will likely pursuit a lawsuit. NO INDIVIDUAL OR BUSINESS OF ANY KIND SHOULD EVER BE REPORTING INFORMATION TO EQUIFAX......SHUT THEM DOWN!

      To get information about data on you being reported by Equifax, you must give them all information about yourself. IE: Full name, address, phone, ssn, date of birth, mortgage info, loan info, etc. To get them to explain how your address of 40 years got changed without your permission, that's not going to happen. They won't even divulge who changed the address. The only criteria for the change of address was " it was a lending company." Really! After what I had to go through to get my own information, I think there should be some kind of checks and balances. At the very least verify the address before making a random ********* this day of identity theft, why are these "credit monitoring" companies not held accountable? ********** and Experion, at least, were not involved. Experion was the only address change. Thank goodness I have a monitoring company.Credit card offers were being sent to my neighbors in my name. What if they were not honest? Can Equifax be ***** accountable for identity theft they are complacent in?

      Unable to either make an account or verify that I have a credit freeze. Website rejected two attempts to create an account and three unsuccessful calls of over 30 minutes to contact their customer **********************. Was able to successfully verify credit freeze with *********** and Experian in less than 10 minutes a piece.

      Been waiting for a reply for 8 days from customer serverice. Could not sign up with equifax due Equifax computer system problem. - I received a letter regarding a privacy breach from a health care provider! - Was prompted to report that to Equifax but I could not finish the sign up on their site due to an error. --- Contacted customer support. Received a case number 8 days ago from their automated system but never a reply.8/27/24 tried to follow up with Equifax but could not get through their automated system and have been on hold for 20 minutes. -

      Equifax *** is the worst customer ever!!!!! The customer ********************** is horrible. I have an inaccuracy on my account from a car loan i sent proof and everything and still nothing its past 30 days. When you call them it literally takes and hour or more to get ahold of them.they always have an *********** under the cares act when it come to late payment s in 2021 because of the pandemic and by law if they mark it as current then they have to take it off.this is sad.they do not respond to letter in the mail or email.i fi could i would give it 0 stars. im also a fraud victim. they do not care.

      I can't log in to my Equifax. I provided them with all my auto information then I was transferred to additional questions which didn't relate to me. I have moved and need to open Equifax for the new bank. I CAN"T TALK TO A PERSON!!!!!! This is the poorest service I have ever experienced. I can't get past their ROBO TREE SERVICE. THIS IS POOR SERVICE so how can I expect them to protect me if I can't even get done what I need. I CAN'T LOG IN NOR SPEAK WITH A PERSON!!!!!! I have been trying for 2 days.

      When going onto their website to place a credit freeze, you are led to believe you need to sign up on their website. At the end of putting in all your personal information, they lead you to believe you need to sign up for a subscription to their services. If you are just trying to place a freeze on your credit you have to call them. Putting a freeze on your credit for free is a federal law, and I feel that their website is purposefully misleading and trying to get you to sign up for a subscription you do not need. I tried multiple different links on their website to put a freeze on my credit and it always redirected me to put in my credit card information and sign up for a subscription I didn't need. Finally I called them, which I decided to do myself (nowhere on their website points you in the direction of calling if you want to add a freeze) and was able to place a freeze.

      COMMUNICATION VIA COMPUTER OR PHONE CALLS results in "unable to process your information at this time. Or on hold with phone calls for over an hour. One call did have an AI response that stated my call would be returned. Did not happen. In the meantime, my personal info was entered on both devices...after multiple attempts at contacting anyone. Poor customer ********************** to say the least. Experian and Transunion were very efficient with communication.

      Website does not work. I could hear the customer ********************** rep repeat the full details including social of another caller. Appalling. I will never intentionally use Equifax or their services if I can avoid it.
