I placed a pre-order ($54.26) for a fruit arrangement to be sent to my daughter "out-of-state) on August 26th, which was due to be delivered on 9.9.23. They tried to deliver my order on that day but was unsuccessful. I received an email stating that they would contact the recipient and reschedule a delivery.....today is 9.10.23 and that has not been delivered yet. I have been calling the store since yesterday evening, just TODAY I got in touch with someone who told me that she "didn't know what to tell me" (her words verbatim). I told her "what do you mean, I need my order I paid for to be delivered!", And I further explained that she needs to have the driver redeliver my order or give me a refund"! I asked to speak to a manager (to request my money back) however, none was in the store so I was told. The lady assisting me on the phone had no clue what was going on with my purchased order. Since there is no manager on hand to request my money back from I am seeking your assistance to obtain a refund for an item that wasnt delivered as stated.Initial Complaint

On 8/27/263, I ordered a Sweet Box & added a 12-count box of strawberry cookies, a cheesecake, & a customized card for my dear, beloved, elderly aunts birthday, which was a very special day as she turned very old & was sad, depressed & thinking she wasnt going to live to see this day as her ***************** died of that age, so I wanted to send her something very special as I live across the country from ******* came to your site to buy her some things that I thought shed like. Instead of sending her the 12 strawberry cookies I ordered, she received chocolate chip cookies. Im very disheartened about it. I placed an order of nearly $200 with edible arrangement to have delivered on Saturday August 26th. First issue was the fact they did not have what I ordered in stock and according to the person I spoke with she stated that they don't carry the balloons I ordered because they are in Spanish so I had to get a substitute for that, then upon what was supposed to be the delivery date I NEVER RECEIVED any notification of the progress of the delivery, if it was delivered or if the person (recipient) was present during delivery. With the amount of money I spent I expect an update on the delivery and if it wasn't delivered. After a day I filed a complaint; case number ******* regarding that I DID NOT RECEIVE any notification whatsoever regarding my order. I was informed by automated response that someone from the local franchise will contact me within 24 hours of the complaint. It now has been 72 hours (3 days) and I've yet HEARD FROM ANY ONE regarding this issue. So naturally with the negligence and lack of customer service I demand a full refund. I feel that edible arrangements failed to provide a service that they promised to me the consumer and in doing so taken advantage of me and my trust in good faith of thier products and services.Initial Complaint

I placed an order with this company August 28th at 9:30 and it was supposed to be delivered the same day to a business that closes at 5. I waited until 4:30 and the order still had not been delivered. I called the location 10 times over the course of 24 hours and no one ever answered. I proceeded to call the corporate office and they pointed me back to the store. At this point, I just want a refund. Nevermind my special moment with my wife was ruined.Initial Complaint

I ordered a custom "choose your own dipped fruit" box to have delivered to my mother for her birthday. When she sent me a photo of the box, the order was fulfilled incorrectly with the wrong items (she was supposed to receive white chocolate strawberries, and instead received dark...she is specifically a white chocolate lover). Please see photo. Mistakes happen, so I immediately reached out to both the national call center as well as the local fulfillment store to seek a resolution. I have never been able to reach a live person at the local store after 10 plus phone calls, and multiple voicemails that have been unreturned without exception. I have on rare occasions been able to get through to someone at the national level. The first person told me to send an email to the store and they would send a new order out. I did so and received no response and no subsequent corrected order. The second person immediately put me back on hold for ************************************ The third representative was more apologetic and assured me they would get to the bottom of it and email me by the end of day regardless of what action was taken. No such email was ever sent and it has been over 24 hours. I have reached out to my credit card company to dispute the charge, but since it's a "perishable item," they say they can't offer any protection. I am at my wit's end with this company, both the local shop and at the national level, and I can't believe they are still in business. A simple search of both yelp and consumer review sites show that I'm sadly one of many with a horrific customer service experience.I have never in my 40 years seen such disregard for a customer. It was their mistake in the first place, and they can't even be bothered to answer the phone or respond to voicemails. Considering I spent $70 for a dozen pieces of fruit, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect my order would be fulfilled correctly, or the mistake to be corrected.Initial Complaint

** 7/26/2023 at 9:16am Pacific standard time I placed an online order and paid for same day delivery for an arrangement to be delivered to my son's home for birthday, 7/26/2023. It was not delivered, as agreed. I would like a refund. Never again.Business Response

I never heard of this lady and never received any kind of deposit.

You can contact the store directly at ************ or check in with our *********** at ************** using the case reference number above.The address shown on the purchase order that I sent to you shows ****************************************************** ***** and a phone number for the business Edible Arrangements that accepted my payment is **************. This is a SCAM. They promised delivery of my order and then failed to deliver. That is a deceptive and unfair business practice. I requested a refund today when Edible Arrangements called me from the number ************. They said I would receive a confirmation email. There has been no email. The charge is still pending on my checking account. I intend to file a dispute once the charge is posted. This business is unfair and deceptive, and the representative that called me from the ************ phone number stated that my delivery was put on "hold." This was done without my knowledge or approval. They ruined my son's birthday surprise by failing to provide the service they agreed to. I want a refund. I will also file a complaint with their state's attorney general, ***** of consumer affairs, and any other agency that deals with scammers and unfair business practices.

On 8/9/23 I submitted a delivery order that was supposed to have free delivery. I had received an email from Edible Arrangements offering free delivery and 15% off on selected items. I entered the delivery zip code and selected an item but got a message that the item wasnt available in that area. I then filtered the items by those with free delivery and selected an item from that list. When I started to check out, I noticed that there was a $25.99 shipping charge. I checked the web site to see if there were any conditions that nullified the free shipping on my order and found nothing. I thought that perhaps the shipping charge would be reversed when I completed the transaction or that there was a glitch with the web site. I completed the transaction and immediately sent a message to customer service explaining that I was erroneously charged for shipping on an item from the free shipping list. The response I received just said Fed Ex shipping does not comply with free shipping, which made no sense to me. I responded requesting clarification, and the response I received just indicated that free shipping is offered on certain items at certain times, and if free shipping is not available, a flat rate is charged. Bottom line, I selected an item with free next day shipping but was charged 25.99.Additionally, I was charged $10 for packaging, which I think is outrageous - how can items be delivered without being packaged?Initial Complaint

This is regarding order W2009066121-1, which was for a pick up on Saturday, 07/01/23 at 10am from its ******, ** location. When we went to pick up the order at 10am on this day, the order was not ready, even though the order confirmation clearly specifies pickup at 10am. We were told by the employee there at the time, *****, that the order would be delivered later in the day. We would have canceled the order then, but she promised us a $75 refund for this delay, and therefore we did not cancel the order. The order ended up being delivered around 12pm, and although we were not happy at all that the order was not ready on time, ***** confirmed again over the phone that we should be getting a $75 refund for this inconvenience. A few days later I did not see any refund, and I called the store to see when I could expect this, but it seems that ***** did not make any record of this conversation. I've called a few times after to see if I could speak with her or the store manager, but I have had no success. They've told me on three separate occasions that someone will call me back to resolve this issue, but no one has so far. On 4/19/2023 I submitted an order for $141.86 that was never delivered. I have taken the following actions in attempt to resolve the issue.- Contacted the local store to request delivery - Submitted 3 support cases through their website requesting a cancellation and refund of my order - Left two voicemails on their customer service number - Contacted them via social media where a representative responded and informed me that they processed a refund via check to me on 5/17/2023. Ordered my boss a birthday arrangement to be delivered, item was left outside in the heat at a location that was not his home as the photo provided showed us this. emailed two times for a refund, called 800# and never could get a reply or a refund.
