The process of buy a house with Beazer has been a terrible experience. I want to first state that the design center and sale people were outstanding while buying our home. The problem is the project managers. We ordered four side brick. All throughout our process we were told that only one part hardy board. When they were done with the brick, I noticed they missed one spot. I brought it to their attention that one side of the elevation did not have brick. I was told that the brick was wrong and they were going to remove the brick. I look at the neighborhood and noticed that two house had brick in the same spot. I informed Beazer. I was then told that they have to build according to plan and those houses were wrong. However, a couple weeks later I saw the plan. The plan said sides are brick. I informed Beazer. I was told the plan was wrong and they would send it to corporate. I have been lied to by Beazer multiple times.

We purchased our house from Beazer January 2023, on the day of our final walk through before signing there was a roof leak. Beazer fixed the roof and assured us no more issues. 3/3/2023 our roof starts leaking again. They sent someone out to fix it. 9/27/2023 and the roof is leaking again. We have called them and they said theyll send someone out to look at it. But this is the third leak in 6 months. When will this end. We want our roof replaced and fixed properly. We have videos of the roof leaking

The Beazer Homes ************ team met with the homeowner and inspected the area of concern in which they found an area where the main roof meets to form two valleys. This area appears to hold water from heavy rains resulting in a water leak. Repairs are scheduled and when completed, we will give it a few days before we address the drywall in the garage just to be sure we have the issue resolved. We want to express our gratitude for the homeowner's patience and willingness to work together for resolution. - Beazer Homes

I am in the process of selling my home that I bought from Beazer. The buyers have asked us to fix 2 items that were in the inspection that I payed which was being handled by Beazer homes. - The crack on the patio slab in the patio. I was told it was long but not thick enough to be fixed. The buyers have asked for me to seal the cracks. - in the attic there was condensation dripping onto the pan. They have asked me to get this fixed as well. I never go up to the attic, but this was also one of the items in my inspection report. ******************* had got a tech to come out for the heating and cooling but not to find the issue with the condensation.

This is a complaint and claim for my HVAC system that was not inspected or installed properly. I moved into my home on 6/27/19.Within that first year Covid swept the world and most of us were locked down. Warranty work for the first year was extended. After 13 months passed, my HVAC system stopped working. Beazer argued with me and told me that it was passed the warranty, but ultimately sent a contractor here after a heated argument. I was told that the system was not hooked up correctly and it would be taken care of under warranty. I was also told by the contractor that it could have started a fire. I continued to have problems with the system but could not afford to keep fixing it because I am a widow on a fixed income and I have had 4 heart attacks. I have paid $3578.00 out of my pocket for problems that I did not cause. Beazer has denied this claim. Please see the attached documents, photos, original complaint.

Beazer Homes has reviewed the claim and found the close of escrow to be 6/26/2019. Mechanicals are covered for 2 years under the **************** Warranty which states under Cooperate with ** "You must give us, our employees, agents, subcontractors or insurers reasonable help in investigating, monitoring or correcting deficiencies' or defined structural element failures." Beazer Homes last serviced the **** unit 8/2020 and has not received any further contact from the homeowner.  The homeowner did not notify Beazer Homes of the recent concerns and chose to hire an outside contractor and pay out of pocket. Beazer Homes will be taking no further action regarding this homeowner's ****.  If they would like to pursue it further, the homeowner can contact Professional Warranty Services.  Their contact information is in the warranty paperwork the homeowner received at closing.

We reserved the property and are now preparing to finalize the purchase (tomorrow, 09/01/2023). However, there's a significant concern regarding the Garage, which has numerous stains(we are not sure any leakages cuasing this issue). The builder has shown no intention of addressing or cleaning this issue, despite our clear dissatisfaction. We invested nearly 1 million in this house, but the presence of these stains is severely impacting our comfort with closing the deal. Unfortunately, due to time constraints and ******* money considerations, we find ourselves compelled to proceed with the closing. Despite having engaged in several discussions with the designated builder, there has been no noticeable improvement. Could you kindly assess the situation and provide assistance promptly? Your intervention would be greatlyappreciated.

I am filing a complaint because the builder didn't uphold thier end of the deal. They made many empty promises and failed to lock me in at a lower rate of ****%, and then they expected me to come up and extra %***** for closing and my payment rose up over $400. I excused my contingeny clause to withdrawl but now they are stating I'm not eligible for a refund of my ******* money. They've also pushed back my closing date several times and there were serious issues witht the yard, very little sod and water would pull in certain areas.

We had a home build by Beazer it was a Garden Home .. these homes are a cluster of 4 homes and each one is built exactly the same , each homes electric/plumbing/layout are identical with the exception of finishes because of upgrades . In our home a very important electrical outlet was left out .. its in the entry way in a outcove where you put a console table with a lamp , my interior designer purchased a table and a lamp specifically for this area because of the way the model was set up .. in addition all other neighboring homes have an outlet in this area .. the electrician made an obvious mistake and deviated from the electrical plans and put ours on the opposite wall ..the builder is claiming the house is to code due to the outlet being in the opposite wall which is USELESS!!!. and they have denied all my requests to put one in ..i feel this was an oversight on their end and they should be incurring the expense not me to put one in .. I have photos of my home WITHOUT the outlet and photos of all other homes that have the outlet on outcove wall

Purchased new home in May 2023, limited walk thru to find any issues that could be there. We noticed a crack in counter top 3 weeks after closing, Beazer sent a tech to look at counter, were very friendly about looking at it and repairing it, till the tech found a second crack and now the whole story changed to it was after closing we take no responsibility. there is no sign of abuse by us the owners, but builder does not care to resolve at all. so a brand new house with a cracked counter, that can not be fixed, so having to replace entire kitchen counters we paid good money for.

Beazer Homes ********** has reviewed the consumer's concern. Our local Beazer warranty representative along with the customer care manager did a final walk through with the consumer to note any areas of concern. Upon walking the home, the area the consumer is reporting was reviewed and no cracks or blemishes were found nor did the consumer add any notes for this to their walk through documentation before signing off on the home. The customer care manager sent out the countertop vendor to review the customer's concerns after they had been residing in the home for several weeks, at which point two cracks were discovered. Per the warranty documents provided to the consumer upon closing on the home, cracks ,chips or scratches in the countertops are not warrantable beyond close of escrow. At this point in time, Beazer Homes ********** is pending the final inspection report from the vendor. Once received, the customer care manager will reach out to the consumer directly to review.

there is no signs of any damage to the counter, and your TECH per the granite people was here a whole 10 minutes, no paperwork no report and he himself found the second crack and commented that this is due to the design of the cooktop location. so Beazer a quality house builder is telling me a counter top to a new home will possibly last 2 weeks, and we basically purchased a broken counter top. Can they prove besides the walk thru notes that it was not cracked at all, this is ethically and morally an issue.,

Your warranty guy was all in favor of fixing till he learned they do not have this slab anymore and then back peddled as quick as possible.

Beazer Homes contacted the marble vendor to review for a potential repair as a courtesy for the homeowner. It was explained at that time that the countertops are not warranted under the Beazer Homes Limited Warranty after close of escrow. The vendor met with the homeowner on 06/28/2023 at their home where the homeowner pointed out the area of concern. At this point, the homeowner then refused a repair and demanded a replacement. At this time, Beazer Homes ********** stands behind our stance that the item in question is not warranted, however, our offer for repair still stands.

I am rejecting this response because: I was the one here and i DID NOT refuse any repairs, your marble tech is lieing. And your Beazer warranty person, never once came to house to look at this counter top.

This is a round and round situation that Beazer back tracked on after finding out it would cost them more money.

Glad beazer stands behind their products, as i have been told 2 or 3 other neighbors have had and dealing with same issue.
