I have been attempting to contact the Lancaster Branch of Landmark to see if my current loan could be refinanced. This is a solution they advertise. They have not gotten back to me in written form. And if they are placing calls to my phone they are not leaving a message. I'm afraid that they will put my loan on collection. I truly want to resolve my debt with them. On August 2,2023, you texted the Lancaster branch to provide a payment update and the branch responded requesting that you call the local branch. On 8/29/2023 you text the branch requesting refinance documentation be sent to you. However, no discussion of possible refinance options has taken place and we requested that you call the local branch. On September 5, 2023, you left a message requesting refinance paperwork be mailed and the Branch Manager returned your call, leaving a message the following business day on your cellphone requesting you to call the local branch at your earliest convenience. On October 2, 2023, you left a message in which your call was returned by the Branch Manager and a message was left requesting that you contact the local branch.
Your attempts to contact the branch have not been ignored. To discuss account refinance options,you must speak with a loan consultant at the branch over the telephone or in person.

I am trying to pay for my car to get out of repo and the Lendmark near me keeps giving me the run around about the price . They said theyre waiting on the repo people for a price so I called the repo people and they said they gave Lendmark all of the paperwork already and so I called Lendmark back and she was very nasty saying we dont have anything and for me to call Monday . This was on Friday 9/22 it got repoed 9/20 . I have been calling Friday,yesterday & today 9/26 for the price total and nobody is answering me calls at all ! I am being ignored I have Called multiple times I left message no calls back . I am a single mother and I am trying to get my car back and I feel very unhappy with this company . Why isnt my calls being answered I am trying to find the total price to get my car out . I have to money to pay the balance of what I owe . Additionally, a one-month payment deferment has been processed to assist you in making timely payments in the future.

I have continued to have my rights violated by this company! All companies must follow the Consumer Laws set in place to protect individual's rights. The account is reported as a repossession therefor the balance of the past due account should NOT be more than the original loan amount. The account also shows positive payment history, in result the account balance should not be more than original loan amount. Due to the account being a "repossession" the car was due to be sold at auction thus reducing the amount of the original loan amount. On the account it shows a negative payment history from 01/2023 - 08/2023, due to the account being a repossession from 2022, it is impossible for me to be late on these payments. We have reviewed your account with our *********************** now responsible for handling your account. Due to the delinquency status of your account. Your vehicle was repossessed on November 10, 2022. Unfortunately, we have experienced delays in obtaining the title from the ********** of ***** Vehicles, Until the title is obtained, Lendmark is unable to sell the collateral and credit your account with the proceeds resulting from that sale.
As of the date of this response your account remains open and has incurred interest daily since the date of your last payment in accordance with the terms of your installment loan agreement. However, we have determined that the appropriate course of action given this delay is to waive the interest that has accrued on your account starting from the date of repossession and cease accruing interest on this account going forward. This was completed on October 13, 2023, and the ************************* have been notified of the change to the balance on your account.
Once we have received the title and complete the sale of the collateral you may receive a deficiency notice detailing the remaining balance owed on the account.

On August 1, 2023 I spoke with an employee ********************* of Lendmark Financial Services in reference to a debt (Charged Off) on my credit report. I previously challenged this debt on my credit report but was unsuccessful. Upon speaking with the Lendmark Financial Services employee, I was told that my negotiated payment of $950 would credit my account as paid in full and remove from my credit report. Here we are a 48 days later and none of this has happened. I spoke again to the Lendmark Financial employee who told me that she did not make those promises to me and that the only way for use to know the truth is to review the recordings of the phone call. Of course I will not have any access to review that conversation, nor is it in the works to happen. My credit file was in a better position before I made this payment which further corrupted my credit files.Business Response

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to address some discrepancies on my credit report. The account in question is associated with LENDMARK FINANCIAL SERVI, account number ************* noticed that the contact information for this account differs between Experian and TransUnion. Experian lists the address as ***************************************************************, while TransUnion ****** **************************************************************, **************. This inconsistency raises concerns about the accuracy of the account details.Additionally, there are differences in the reported payment history between the two credit bureaus. Experian indicates the last payment was made in January of 2022, whereas TransUnion reports the last payment made on 08/19/21. You obtained an installment loan secured by your 2014 Kia ****** with Lendmark on February 23, 2021. The amount financed was $8,964.80 with an interest rate of *****%, to be repaid over 60 months. The last payment you made on this account was August 03, 2023.
On or around September 05, 2023,you notified the local branch that the vehicle had been stolen again and you had no intention of redeeming the vehicle from the impound lot. On September 8,2023, you provided us with the impound information and we were able to confirm the location of the collateral and that you had removed the vehicle license plates.
We have begun the voluntary surrender process, however that does not void the obligations set out in the installment loan agreement and you are still responsible for the terms of the loan agreement until the balance of the loan has been satisfied.
