On June 15, I was reached out to by a WFG agency owner and told about a career opportunity that would revolve around financial advisory, the appeal of which led me to register as an unlicensed agent. I quickly realised during my orientation as a new recruit, however, which could only take place after an initial $125 payment on my part, that WFG would not be a good fit for me as it did not follow the business model I had envisioned. Though the recruiter had told me that the position would be commission-based, with which I was content, I had not been informed prior to the payment for registration that the position would involve cold calling as opposed to an assignment of clients to handle per the recruiter's workload. In other words, I was anticipating that I'd be given clients to deal with rather than need to identify them on my own, which I knew would not be sustainable and I'd exhaust my warm network quickly, not to mention that very few people at any given moment are actively seeking life insurance, and even then can just purchase it online without needing to speak to a middleman. I tried e-mailing WFG Coding about the issue, but they were supposedly unable terminate my account (never responding to a refund component of my request) since my e-mail isn't on file in the MyWFG database. I had clarified that, being an unlicensed agent, I can only login to WFG Launch, which I retroactively understand would likely be why, but they never touched on this in their response, only mentioning MyWFG. In light of this, whether or not my account can be terminated in order that my information be fully removed, I would like to receive a refund for the $125 sign-up fee. If it is necessary, my agent code is 95FVK.Business Response

I was going through the regular hiring processes and while doing some background research before my orientation I realized that this company seems more like an MLM based on the reviews found here. I would simply like to state to the company directly that I am requesting all my sensitive information be erased from your records such as my SSN and other personal information(Name, Phone Number, Email) as I am no longer wishing to seek employment through your company.Business Response

I was offered a job interview on March15 2023 with the job description being entry level marketing, sales and recruiting by pinnacle elite. Before the interview they showed little about how company work by educating people of being financial independent and being one stop shop for all financial management decisions. Nothing seemed suspicious till now. Next my recruiter took me in a different chat room on zoom and started to sell this idea of how great and how big you can make in the company. He said he would really like me to be onboard with them and told me that i had to pay for a background check for the company as they are highly regulated and don't take people with criminal background. Sent me a link in the chat room ,which i was required to fill immediately , i told him i might need to think over it but then he pressurized me saying that only few spots are left and you may loose the spot if you take time. Little did i know that i had to make a payment for $125 for a background check which is outrageous but like I said he pressured to do it immediately .The moment i completed the document it said congratulations on being a Sales rep of WFG , but I did not know that I was making a payment for this. I was completely unaware of the scheme that I was roped into. Therefore, I would like a refund of my $125 that i was wrongly made to pay as well my SSN and all the personal information of mine to be removed from WFG .Business Response

I had an "interview" to become an agent a little over a week and a half ago. Then came a rushed orientation where I was pressured to pay $125 for my agent code and then $30 for courses even after I had expressed hesitation and time constraint issues in which I described this probably wasn't the job for me. I was pushed into paying for these courses and then hounded several times a day about Zoom meetings and phone calls to do mock sessions, most of these while I was at my job and would often disrupt my work. After that, I received constant messages about completing courses and even when I expressed concern at the way I was told to complete the course (i.e. skip everything watch the summary video at the end and take the test until you pass). And finally, when I expressed that it is all too much and I need to withdraw myself and get a refund for the money I spent on the code and the courses, I was told the agent code is nonrefundable and to just keep working as a referral agent and that I was being extreme by throwing in the towel. I was pressured into this whole thing and I find it very hard to believe that there is no way to remove my agent code so that I may receive a refund after this very stressful and pushy experience. I just want a refund and to be removed of my affiliation with this company.Business Response

Dear, I am writing to waive my outstanding fee of $146 that for some reason is due. I did not practice as an agent nor did I sell anything. I knew I didnt want to be part of WFG after a few training sessions. I was told I can stop anytime and not worry about anything but now there has to be a termination letter. The terms of agreement were misrepresented to me and no proper information was provided and all payments were done in rush by the representative. After gaining actual insights about company, I would not like to be part of WFG. I want is my information removed from WFG as well, especially my SSN. I take this matter very seriously and I kindly request that this issue be addressed as soon as possible.Business Response

The business is pyramid "scheme" where you would work tremendously hard getting your own leads, but your commission percentage is extremely low due to the upper management getting most of it. The products are not as described neither helpful to the people you are selling. I was told I was being charged for a background check up and that I will be provided a job with salary pay. There is not institution doing any background check up nor information to find about it. It is bad misrepresentation and misleading information plus tremendous psychological pressure you suffer if you go to any of their meetings asking you to pay for it. I am requesting that you refund me the $125 required that supposed to go to my background check up. Please delete/shared my personal information.Business Response

I was approached by an insurance agent from WFG stating that he was teaching a series of classes that focused on financial management and a better understanding of the insurance and financial industry. He was very persistent that I must sign up for the classes. We asked if it would be possible to join in on one of the ******s before we made the commitment. He said there was no option for that, but when later he showed us the flyer after signing up for the classes there is actually an option where we can test out one of the classes for free. We were unhappy with that, and confronted him regarding that issue. He was somewhat apologetic about it. This was not the biggest issue. The biggest issues was that we told him that during the time of his ******s we would not have time to attend as we will be at work. He insisted that the zoom classes can be recorded and watched at a later time. So I logged in for the first ******* requested to record the zoom, he declined the request and started recording the ****** himself. After the class, I asked him to publish the recording link, and he told me that the recording was not to published and it was only recorded for himself. The charges for the classes were $125, the charges showed up on my card as "WFGINSURANCEAGENCY" and I received an email regarding that I signed up as an associate. He basically lied about the course structure to sign me up as an associate under him. How pathetic of a move? It would have been fine if he kept the promise of letting us record the ******s, which he did not. It's an absolute scam move, as he knew we didn't have time to watch the live ******s and lied to us that he can't offer a trial ******* and lastly he used this whole thing as a way to get more associated under him. I would like a refund on this as nothing was as promised.Business Response
