I Paid $125 on July 30th, 2024 for the background check & to sign up for this company. The agent I worked with on this told me it was for a financial professional to help people with their money problems and be able to help people get out of debt and other things. My agent never told me this was an insurance sales MLM scam. After watching the videos provided on the **** Launch" website I found out this was all about selling life insurance and getting more recruits to do it too. This is not what I was told I was signing up for at all. I am requesting a full refund for the $125 I spent with this company. As well as all my personal information deleted. I was deceived by an acquaintance I previously trusted and rushed into paying for a background check to sign up with the company. I was deceived about the product they sell, lied to about what products I would be able to sell, and constantly rushed and pressured into marketing their deceptive product to my network of friends and family before any sort of training on it. I was lied to about being able to train at my own pace or on my own time as advertised on their website and lied to about the costs and fees associated with the platform. When I researched and discovered that this was an MLM scam and terminated my association with them, I was targeted with an account rollup fee that is an outright scam charge which I never received an invoice for on the date cited and the amount did not match the source information or account information cited in ***'s email response. Upon informing the *** representative of this, the representative dropped all correspondence. I want my $125 background fee refunded, the $71 *** Account Rollup Outstanding Balance fee removed from my account, and all of my personal information removed from ***'s systems including any agent's personal equipment. This company is an outright scam focused on profiting from deceiving and exploiting consumers, recruited agents and their friends, families and networks.Business Response

This company absolutely misrepresents who and what they are. I was pressured into entering my social security number and credit card information for a "background check". It is clear that this company is operating as an MLM and prey on both their clients and recruits. I am requesting that my information be scrubbed and a full refund.Business Response

I was rushed and misled to paying $125 on June 27 2024 for a background. I did not realize that means I became a member of WFG as an associate. After further research I soon came to realize this was a mlm scam and felt constantly harassed and pressured by the agent. I would like a total refund from this company and want nothing to do with it. To whom it may concern,On June 21st, I was charged $125 to run a background check going to the government for the process of a job opportunity without being informed the charge was actually an Associate Fee membership to WFG. I was not told by the agent that this is the company that I would be affiliating with nor was I told properly what the charge was for nor was I informed of it being non-refundable prior to the transaction. The transaction was made through Zoom, and I was unable to properly read the document as the agent kept scrolling.Id like to cancel my affiliation and be refunded my $125. I was forced into paying a fee of $125 after two agents talked to me about a whole lot of nothing they took my personal information and had me enter it on a laptop and i just want all my information deleted and a refund of the $125!
