I was told that I would be a financial advisor & that would only have to work 8-10hrs a week. That was untrue. They scammed me into paying $125 for a background check, I have tried to reach the company but was unsuccessful.Business Response

The policy (**********) that I was given was to remain in an upline for the broker. The broker did not explain to me that this was a no cash value policy. I have been paying the broker $41.77 since September 19, 2022. From September 19, 2022 to October 18, 2023 I have paid the broker $584.78. I have asked the broker multiple times, throughout 2023, to cancel the policy and she refused or simply ignored my request. This policy that she referred me to is for her own benefit. It is a million-dollar policy that has no direct benefit for me. On October 18, 2023, I reached out to TransAmerica and the customer service representative said that he would send me the paperwork to my email to fully surrender the policy and refund my $41.77, that was automatically paid out of my bank account. On October 20, 2023, once again, I had to reach out to the TransAmerica customer service line because I didnt receive the email. This customer service representative did help me, and I received the email to begin the process of the full surrender of the policy.What I would like is my full refund of $584.78 of this policy that I paid the broker.Business Response

I unfortunately fell victim to a pyramid scheme after a friend misled me into paying $125 for membership under false pretenses aswell as $29.95 for course work He urged me to join a Zoom call and complete the form, even signing it with my name. Feeling pressured and deceived while on the call, I now realize the unethical nature of their recruitment methods. I am seeking a refund and am particularly concerned about the misuse of my personal information, including my SSN, address, phone, and email. The company, WFG, appears to engage in shady practices, as evident from my research and the experiences of others who have been similarly scammed.Business Response

I would like a refund. I do not want to be an agent for WFG, I got signed up without receiving all the information I needed. The phone number provided does not have an option to talk with an agent. This company is a simply a scam. My wife and I were misled into paying $125 each for a background check. We were also constantly being told that we NEEDED to go to a conference in ********* on our dime but politely declined over and over. There was also an instance were one of their coordinators tried to get force a service on each of us. Service that we did ourselves and the coordinator out of nowhere sent his information to pay him. We declined paying them and told them we were not going to pay for any of it. Also we were told to rally as many potential clients as possible for our grand opening. The complete opposite was then discovered when we were told that the people WE broughtwould be talking with a completely different person that will gather their information and we will just simply be present. We would not be the individuals who would get any credit or experience with providing the service we told them we would. Would ****% advise anyone to stay away from these people. We each are looking to get both of our $125 fee back, have all of our information deleted from any database they have. As well as warning anyone to stay clear from any individual associated with this company. I am requesting we both receive refunds of the $125 fee and to be taken off of any list associated with this companyBusiness Response

I signed up for *** and convinced to pay the $165 background check fee and to sign up for insurance ****************** insurance right away. I paid for some continuing education classes. I found *** was not the right fit for me and have since terminated my services with *** and their E&O partner. I submitted a resignation letter to my manager via text (our main communication platform) on 10/9/23 and I was told in a meeting on 10/12/23 that everything but my E&O insurance would be cancelled automatically. I called and cancelled the E&O insurance on 10/13. On 10/16 I received a call from the main *** headquarters and discovered they were not aware of my termination. I officially submitted my resignation 10/16. I received a charge for insurance premium of $123.52 on 10/18 even though I called and cancelled it. On 10/18 I received a request to pay an additional $71 for an outstanding debt is for the ********** Corporate Affiliation that is required by state once you submit your license. I do not think I should be paying any/all these fees for a company I have done nothing at and have quit. I am seeking a cancellation of all current charges *** is attempting to collect from me.*** also has my ssn, address, phone and email. Im concerned that my information might get misused. I would like my own and my family information to be removed from all parts of the *** system.Business Response

WFG met with me about a potential job opportunity and in the interview told me about how much money i could potentially make. They made it seem as if a certain amount was guaranteed, or there are some positions that were more comission based if you so wanted to, but also salaried positions where you could just write plans for people,where the sales of the plans were comission based. These 2 were advertised as being seperate things, each with different earninf potential. I paid $125 for a "associate agreement" and "background check", to later be told that it is all comission based, and solely based on referrals, which may or may not make you money based on what happens. I simply would just like my money back.Business Response

I got asked by a friend if i was interested in a side hustle and so we hopped on a zoom call and within 15 minutes she was putting my information into the program even tho i said i was not sure if i wanted to join the company. She got my card info, my address, my ssn and a lot of other info. I feel that i was very mislead and didnt get the specifics of what i was actually signing up for. I was told that we would be giving financial advice and helping families manage their money. I got onto the classes she enrolled me into that were $125 and every single one is about insurance, nothing at all about financial advice. I removed myself from my agent and i would like to try and get my money back since the courses were never used and i was mislead.Business Response

I was late on a payment and the manager calls me and threatened to carry me to court if I didn't come and pay it.so I made a review and now she ignores me when I call the company and she refuses to let me renew my account.she said she will call me back but it never happens.
