      Groupon is a scam. Terrible customer service, manipulative and dismissive. A merchant no longer accepted Groupons, even though I had three unexpired ones to still use, and Groupon just blew me off. I will never use them or recommend them to anyone, The deals were just not that good anyway, but I decided to give them another chance. my mistake, I am an idiot. Don't be fooled like me.

      I gave them my email address for a %20 discount and then nothing happened. It then prompted me for my cellphone number for 25% off. I closed the window then found an alert at the bottom of the screen for $10 if I provide my phone number. After inputting my phone number, I got a text with a code to use my discount but when I tried to use it kept telling me the code had expired. I literally got the code 5 minutes before I entered it. Seems like something really shady. Why don't they just put the discount in my cart waiting for me to purchase something.

      Warning: do not do business with Groupon. I bought 2 spa services from Groupon on December 6, 2023. I have six months to use my Groupons before the expiration date on June 06, 2024. In April 2024 I decided to redeem my Groupons for the spa services only to discover that someone had redeemed my Groupon for 1 of the services and changed the spa business that I chose. I advised Groupon over a month ago and have not heard from them. Total silence. It must have been an employee of Groupon that hacked my account. Under no circumstances will I do business with Groupon again because as a customer you must leave a credit card on file with them. Groupon used to be reputable, but they are currently totally unscrupulous. I have lost about $147.00. I wish that I could give them a rating of 0.

      I purchased a groupon 2 months prior to being able to use it for a horse and carriage ride when I took my mom on a trip to ********. We followed all the rules and made an appointment. When we arrived they weren't there and wanted me to come back a few hours later, which wasn't possible due to our tight itineary, so we paid DOUBLE for a different ride and then I tried to get my money back. Groupon has this absolutely RIDICULOUS policy that it's only refunded after three days! Well it was 2 months later because I'm a planner and now I'm out the money and have to spend it with you because your policy is THREE DAYS. WHO USES ALL THEIR GROUPONS IN THREE DAYS!? You can rest assured that I WILL NEVER USE YOUR SERVICE AGAIN after I redeem my "refund"

      I have messaged groupons a few times, I've called and no matter what I do I get no response! I can't use nor can I get the money back that I've paid for something I didn't receive! Really disappointed! Won't let groupons steal from me again because I won't order from here EVER again!

      They sold me a voucher for an activity at a location that did not have it. When it reached out to them to notify them that the voucher could not be used at that location (or any other location) they refused a refund because it was past the 3 days of purchase. I didn't know the vouchers were not redeemable until I went to schedule the activity at said location (a week later). I had over 2 years to use the voucher, so I was still in the time frame of the voucher expiration date. I contacted customer service via email and chat. Both were very unhelpful and offered no solution.

      Found out they are charging tickets for a free event "Dance yourself clean" in *******, **. Attempted to contact them, two separate people emailing me and after I sent them screenshots that ***** seats stated the tickets were not available; they still charged me! Worst customer service. They never followed up after I replied twice the the last email communication. There is no where to rate the event, even though I had tickets to go. Ended up registering through the website for the free event and not supporting Groupon anymore from here on out.

      I am a Groupon customer and has used it for years, but this year is the first time I've had such a horrendous problem. I was looking at a service for cleaning on Saturday but the website wasn't responding so I closed it and then the next day the service was charged to my credit card. I immediately tried to cancel and refund. However, the Groupon-site only gives information.on canceling and it diesnt work. There was no actual link to cancel the order or chat. And I've sent 2 emails byt Groupon states it may take 4 days however cancelling has to happen in 3 days for a refund. So I only have two more days to cancel and get a refund for $180 days. I called the Value Maid cleaning service provider and it turns out the cleaning service Turns out it is in ********** ******* and they do not clean in ******* which is where I live. I'm so really upset. Im working trying to find a way to contact Groupon so that I can get a refund for $180. I'm on a fixed income and I cannot afford to give away money. Don't trust the Groupon Site!!!

      Groupon might seem appealing, but be warned - their customer service is an absolute nightmare.After encountering a significant problem with my products that I ordered online from them, I tried my best to get it resolved. I sent numerous emails detailing the issue and filed multiple claims, hoping for a response. Unfortunately, all I've been met with is deafening silence.While mistakes are inevitable, it's the complete lack of communication that truly infuriates me. They've left me hanging with no updates or solutions, demonstrating a complete disregard for their customers.If you value even a basic level of respect and responsiveness, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. There are plenty of other businesses out there that prioritize their customers and are willing to address problems head-on. Don't waste your time and money here!
