      I am so dissatisfied with my purchasing process with Groupon that I now feel uncomfortable referring my peers or relatives to them due to how negligent & careless they've treated me in this particular situation in spite of me being a loyal customer for some years. If they treat a loyal customer the way they have treated me, what am I to think of how they would treat someone new? I feel completely unheard & dismissed when I expressed to the a representative how the checkout process for circus tickets was confusing & I basically was trying to find out if for $38 I was getting what I expected to get, the family pack of 4 tickets or was the price I was paying per ticket within the pack? (As that was the case on the site for the circus, the tickets labeled pack would show the price of a single ticket and then in checkout that single ticket price quadrupled) At checkout of these tickets in particularly, what led to my confusion was when it came to the part of checkout where I was asked "how many?" & I HAD to make a selection up to a **** of 8. Mind you the family pack that was advertised was for GA for 2 Adults & 2 Children so my thoughts were at that point I needed to pay for each adult & the kid ticket would automatically be attached (circus was giving free child ticket for every paying adult with corresponding coupon as well as having regular kids admission at $20 each without).However, I later learned AFTER purchase & finally getting someone thru chat, the price I was shown was for the tickets as advertised, I unfortunately already bought 2 incase i needed ticket per adult in the ******** didn't want myself or my fiance to be without a ticket if it were to sell out like the site said.Making matters worse, it took repeated attempts to get chat going & their number is not even 1-888-664-**82 as it is a life alert service.I'm completely unsatisfied with how I was handled & the overall experience in purchasing groupons this time around & I really would like a refund.

      I bought a Groupon in October for a flag sign. Purchased 3 flag sign for $13. I went on the Giftforyounow website to use my coupon. When I went to purchase it came out to $36xx for only two yard signs? How and why I asked Groupon for help. They said they couldnt help me because my purchase was elapsed and just told me that this time of year they had a bigger sale then normal. I then told them that I purchased these before and only paid for shipping, so why am I paying way to much? They could not help but apologized and that I can gift it to someone who can use it. I went and took off the coupon to see how much it would cost. Total was $35xx how is this possible? I asked them. They said sorry that they didnt have the authorization to issue a refund. Beware Groupon is a Scam I wont use them ever again???? they are thieves and cant help consumers because its been more then 3days from purchase.

      The shipping is absolutely ridiculous, especially when wanting to order 2 of the same items and they want $9.95 for shipping on each item going to the same address. The Groupon codes NEVER work. Why would anyone want to buy on Groupon is beyond me.

      Groupon has sold me a deal for a business that is no longer in business. The business was not operational; when I bought it. I called the venue on the day of the show and they told me they have not been operating for over a year. I spoke to groupon while the deal was active and they escalated it. The return conversation said that since the groupon had expired ,they would give us groupon bucks. When i initially called it was valid for the show if it was available. Now their support says they can not refund my payment method since they already issued groupon bucks. how can a business sell something that does not exist and then hold your money? This has happened before and i just accepted the bucks. I am done with groupon. I want my refund

      I contacted ******************* on 4 separate occasions over 1 weeks time to schedule an appointment for a Lymphatic massage after purchasing from Groupon. No return calls. This is the second time this has happened to me but with a different business. I contacted Groupon and have about 8 emails back and forth with them which has still not resulted in my money back. I provided proof of all my outreaches and no return calls. They continue to encourage me to reach out to the vendor, or they share they are escalating the matter but it seems like they are trying to avoid giving me my money back. I am highly upset and the level of avoidance from Groupon regarding this matter is outrageous. They have now minimized their credibility and will never receive any of my business again. It's really disappointing that I was the customer and ripped off and yet I am being held responsible. There's no way this company should be able to get away with this!!!

      I purchased from Almo through Groupon on November 23, 2023. Within minutes, I tried to cancel the order and was ignored. Since then, I had to wait for the order to arrive. On several occasions I have tried to get the information to return the order and all I have gotten are robot emails from Groupon telling me the seller will contact me. Of course, they never did. Now I am stuck with items I don't want or need. And they will not even allow for a review of the items.

      No stars, but it won't let you submit unless you select at least one. Groupon is a scam. Ordered a service and they claimed the transaction failed and no charge was made. Looking at my credit card bill, it went through. Tried contacting Groupon again to get my money back and they went completely silent. Am currently disputing the charge, but that seems to be stalled. I'm guessing the credit card company is having the same silent treatment from Groupon that I'm having. Why is Groupon still in business?

      If I could give zero stars I would. The representative I spoke to was less than helpful. She kept repeating the same thing and when I told her it was less than helpful she kept repeating herself. To make things worse she then insinuated that I was a liar which did not help the situation. She then proceeded to give me an attitude which only flared up mine. Me using this site again is slime to none. This company just rips people off. I looked at what the company would charge and Groupon after the fact and it would have actually been cheaper to go to the company themselves. When I called they stated all purchases are finally and I should read the fine print. They dont offer any deals then just essentially steal your money . If you still want to use them go ahead, but just know when you call and get a representative you will be shocked at how you are spoken to bc the one I got was rude, very inconsiderate, and just nasty for no reason.

      I was overcharged by Groupon and now they are refusing to give the differences back in the form of the original payment. They are only offering me a coupon that expires in 7 days that I would have to make an additional purchase to receive. Any reputable business would have noticed the mistake and just refunded. However, Groupon has continuously refused to refund me the money they overcharged.

      Please be aware of this photographer. I normally don't write a review, but because this was one very important day to me, it was upsetting. I purchased this merchant on Groupon, and communicated with a couple of people, with a confirmed date, time, and location. I even called and spoke with someone by the name of **************************However, I was reassured that my appointment for my engagement photos was confirmed. The day of the appointment no one ever showed up. I called, I texted, my finance called, and he texted on 11/24 and still, this company has not reached out to apologize or explain. I have all the screenshots of all communication and confirmation. I will be glad to share all screenshots with anyone thinking of using this photographer. Also, please be aware of purchasing anything from Groupon, because they don't stand by their policy or hold their merchants accountable for stealing consumers' money.
