This is not a fake complaint it is valid and I expect and have right the BBB processing it which you did not do last time I tried. Alight Solutions has not provided me access to my assets even after I gave them First of all for 10 years they did not require address that they claim they needed all along. Second even though I did not ant and had very valid concerns about turning over my personal data to them I provided it. They then denied it and sold and distributed my personal data to other organizations specifically the very one I was ms concerned having it. I do not have access to my assets or the pension benefit now.Initial Complaint

I have a pension plan through my prior employer that is managed by Alight Solutions. I have made at least 8 calls regarding rolling this over to an **** Initially I was told I had to wait 90 days before I could initiate it even though the rollover period is 60 days. I called multiple times and was told the same thing by every agent. After the 90 days I called again and was told by the agent that the pension request was completed and the distribution would occur. I subsequently called after I did not receive any further information and the representative told me that the agent was did not follow correct protocol and the request had been canceled the same day. No one called me to inform me of that fact. I then had to meet with yet another specialist. The specialist was unavailable at our booked time and I spoke with an administrative assistant or something, who was incredibly rude but told me she would send me the required paperwork by mail and secure email. I received paperwork by mail that had nothing to do with what we discussed and when I tried to log in to get the secure mail the website was going to be down for an entire week. I called again to get the paperwork a different way and the representative told me that I was lying and I was never told I would get it by traditional mail, and there is nothing she can do. I am now going to miss their deadline yet again, which is more than 4 weeks prior to them performing the rollover. I have never worked with a financial institution that was sketchier, unhelpful and inappropriate with me on the phone. I can only assume they wish to hold on to my money for as long as humanly possible for financial reasons. Avoid them at all costs if you can.Initial Complaint

I want ANNUAL or LUMP SUM pension NOT monthly!This is expoitive of pension holders and those that left State Farm and now can get it. The portal integration was handled wrong and so is the servicing at Alight and I DO NOT want a Life Annuity! I took out a 401k loan and when i left the company I submitted a direct payment form earlier this year for the company to auto deduct my loan payments from my checking account. I received a fax confirmation. The company never processed that form and now i am delinquent on the 401k loan. They sent me a letter saying i need to pay my past due amount by 12/29 or it would be a taxable event with the irs because i am not 59 1/2. I tried to submit my payment on 12/26 but the app wasnt working. So i called the company to make a payment with my payment on file. They said my payment would not count in december that it would be processed january 5th because they only process payments two times a month. I escalated the issue to a manager asked if they could process it immediately so i am not subject to irs penalties and taxation. No one has called to resolve the issue and its 12/28. I successfully submitted a payment 12/27 but the system also said the payment wouldnt process until january. I offered to wire the money so they could immediately apply the loan payment and they still have not helped me resolve the issue so i am not subject to fees and taxation. They need to process my payment today or tomorrow.Initial Complaint

I need someone to help me. Oct 20, 2023 Alight sent me an email saying they were taking $768.04 out of my bank account. I called them, they said I missed the first 7 healthcare premium payments. These payments were withheld from my att annuity. They said it was a known issue and would be fixed this week. Despite my call, On Nov 1, they took $768.04 out of my bank account. I have spent countless hours on this....one day they say well we see now where you actually made the payments and then a week later, someone calls me and says I missed the payments. Two and 1/2 months later, ****** told me last week that ok, we know you made payments but we are going to refund the money that we took from your bank account to your pension, cept she doesn't know how to do that!? That's financially illiterate thinking. It came out of my bank account. I have an annuity pension. I tried to explain that you can't put money "back into a fixed annuity" And again, it came out of my bank account so why is she looking at that? I need the money refunded to my bank acct asap. You people have made me borrow money for Christmas. I have zero expectations that this email will help but I will try other processes as well. ******** BB, social media. I just want someone to do their job, this should have been a 10 minute fix. Does your company have any quality checks? I've asked to escalate it and I'm told that can't be done. I am a ********** retiree. Alight manages certain retiree benefits such as the Your Sending Account-YSA I requested a call back over a week ago for information about my YS A account and no response. I worked at a job for 6 weeks in Nov/December 2021. I did not sign up for an HSA account with their benefits however one was mistakenly created for me. Account: ************ I have never used this account. I have been trying for 2 years to get it closed. I have called several times (6 or 7 at least) and receive no help. I have done the following:1. Requested they send a closure request to their "back office" team twice. This was either never done or ignored or never completed. 2. Sent in a MAILED closure form twice. It could not be emailed, I had to mail it, which I did. Twice. 3. I have asked for this to be escalated 3 times and never receive a callback. They told me after 18 months without activity the account would be automatically closed. This has not been done. It is Dec 2023, 2 years later and I am still getting emails and the account remains open. I called today 12/22/2023 and am still receiving 0 help from this horrid company. I want my account closed immediately, my email removed and all associations with this company deleted.Initial Complaint

I was called unsolicited by an individual (*****; no last name) who identified himself as a representative of Allight handing my 401K. The number he called back from is indicated in a number of entries on ****** as a SCAM number. Unknown if this is an AON valid number or not. This contact involves changing my PIN number and financial transactions. I would like to be contacted by a verifiable representative of my AON 401K / Alight managed account. I changed employers, however, both employers use Alight for retirement and savings plan. Regardless, it has been impossible thus far to complete a simple rollover of my savings and retirement money. I originally spent almost an entire business day calling between the two entities trying to get the information needed to complete the forms. I had to set up pins repeatedly, and then wait for long periods of time to talk to representatives. At the end of all this, I had to wait two weeks for the check to be delivered and my former employer Alight was to send a distribution form to my new employer. I received no further communication until 2 months later when the check was sent back due to now being expired, no distribution form was sent, and I have to start over again. I called both entities again to find out how to streamline this process and customer service put a ticket in, whatever that means. There is no excuse for this being so difficulty when both companies are Alight and apparently, do not communicate with each other or customers.
