      Been trying to payoff the last couple hundred dollars of a 401k loan for months. They say last payment cant be electronic check despite all others for four years being accepted. Then after sending bank check for payoff amount (which I confirmed with multiple agents), then said there is an additional balance. Asked for a statement to understand discrepancy and they apparently dont do statements unreal.

      Ticket [ticketid:5514694] has been closed My company uses Alight to run our Flexible Spending Accounts.Every year someone in their office gets the dates for "Date of Service" and "Date Paid" switched around. Their confusion leads to my FSA card being put on hold so when I try to pay for my RX's, I get denied. It takes days to resolve with phone calls, emails and chats.While I am no longer able to access my money in my FSA account, ********************** continues to take or steal money from my paycheck every week to continue funding my FSA which I cannot access due to their errors. This has happened to me now 2 years in a row! Alight is a dangerous company to use as they can prevent you from getting your RX's refilled.

      Frontline employees are unqualified for their jobs but the real travesty comes from way high up. Their claim denials (using general boilerplate words) and incessant documentation needed are all intended to keep you from spending all your money. Of course they routinely blame the IRS.For example, they denied my claim for delivery trays prescribed by my doctor for cavity protection. Alight said they were cosmetic. Borders on a scamin my opinion.

      Absolutely terrible. I had this account created when an old 401k of mine rolled into Alight. I've been trying to close the account and withdrawal my money for over a month. They only accept "hand signed" forms. Not sure what that means. I printed them, signed them with my hand, scanned them, and apparently that's not what they mean. So they decided no to call me, and keep my money. HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT USE THEM!! WITHDRAWAL ALL YOUR MONEY NOW! The BBB of D- is too high. Not sure how they are in buisness

      This has been the absolute worst company to deal with. The managers never return calls. They automatically deny medical claims even with proper documentation, then debt your accounts to pay it back. It has been the biggest nightmare having to fight for my own health saving money! I wish my company would change benefits providers.

      EY is using Alight to offer Better You benefits and also "Firm managed" pension plan. As many stated, what ** was thinking?! The customer service, the management, the level of technology, the qualification of personnel - everything screams THESE GUYS ARE YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE. I wasted 3 months trying to get my pension from them after I terminated my employment. Calling them is pain. Making appointments - is waste of time, they can call you 20 min after appointment time, after few rings - they will hang up to never call back. They schedule in CT time, but then call you in ET time. To make matters worse, they cannot manage a simple transaction of direct rollover. I requested my roll over to be done to Fidelity. They told me I'll will have to wait 6-8 weeks (!) after my employment's termination. Then they made an attempt to make a transfer to fidelity that was coded as "contribution" (!) (Which would put me at odds with IRS. Thanks God, Fidelity rejected that transfer. Then, 3 weeks later they sent me a check (even thought I requested a direct transfer). This check was written into my name, but not for deposit at Fidelity, but some kind of local bank in ******** (and I live in ********). I spent about 5 hours in total on the calls with Alight customer rep, last time I spoke with them - the guy wasn't able to even tell me what would be the name the check is to be issued into. He tried to read it 3 times and each time it was something else. My advice - if you have an option to keep money with Alight till your pension, or take them with you - don't even think twice. Take them while you can. 20 years later these clowns will easily tell you they have no records of your pension and don't owe you a dime.

      Updated my address when I moved, they messed it up and sent my mail to some combination of my new and old addresses, called and they "fixed" it 3 times before it was actually fixed. Took 3 tries to roll over my 401k to my new employer, each time the issue was them not inputting the necessary info that I gave them and spelling errors. Very unprofessional and not comfortable with them handling money or personal information.

      I would also like to give a zero, but I have to give them a 1 star per the system. We started a direct rollover on March 8th and have since had multiple phone calls with very little progress. They require the receiving brokerage firm address be on file for the brokerage firm for 7 days but they don't tell you that you can have the money direct deposited to the institution. They tell you that the check has to be mailed. If there is any issue, a trouble ticket has to be generated and it takes ***** hours before someone will look at it. We were promised money would be moved by a certain date and it wasn't...multiple times. There is no accountability, no attempt to offer meaningful solutions without being pressed, and no acknowledgement of the hours of time wasted on the phone for their end clients. The site is abysmal to navigate, also.
