Business didnt do a thorough investigation of an accident where a car was traveling 60 miles per hour in a residential totaling my car. The gentleman had hit my car such an impact that he dragged across and ended up 25 feet ahead of my car. Plus I want to know how does a car traveling 15 miles per hour total a vehicle thats bigger snd heavier then yours . The guy was on his phone thats why he swear we last minute if I popped out like the gentleman claimed then he would have rear ended me he wouldnt have swerved then side swiped my whole drivers side dragging me across another van shot all my door shut I could not open any door from the inside . I asked him how fast he was going he said I was driving the speed limit I know to be careful around this area I live up the block he was lying he was speeding through my street because it is a popular avenue every one uses as a short cut ****** turns into ****** which makes it ************************************ to **************. The guy hopped out with the phone in hand. It took me a half hour to find my phone in 10 minutes to get the door open from the help of a stranger passing by he had a crack my door open. Pulling it apart I told them I saw this gentleman from 250 feet away there is a way to calculate speed with time it would have taken this gentleman 18 minutes to get to my point of impact five minutes minus from the decision I made of exiting from my garage to the street heading north you still had ************************************************************************************************************************************************************** 25 feet ahead of me I want to know how do you make the decision that I am at fault when this guy was clearly speeding and he took off right away. He wouldnt even wait up for me to call the police. I couldnt even get a pictures. Plus the other woman involved in the app thing my debris from my car. Here is the problem you guys dont want to do any real investigation of my concerns about the other driver speeding to the point of totaling my car. He is driving in a residential youre supposed to be driving 15 miles an hour how they called the police had a guy waited there and not to cough like he did. I wouldve been able to have another outside source input on exactly what happened with the accident you guys dont wanna do that you guys dont wanna even look into the investigation of. How did my car gets totaled by a car thats lighter than mine. My car is heavier it weighs more. How did that happen youre driving 15 miles an hour how do you total a car driving 15 miles an hour. You guys dont want to look into what you guys dont even wanna questioning why he was more at fault then for the accident and I was I had made a judge me, because of the distance to the guy was coming from . Didnt expect it was for him to be driving 60 miles an hour. Also the adjuster that you guys assigned to me said that it was only 20 and 30 feet away from me when I saw the car no it was 250 feet away from me. It makes a huge difference when youre telling me that hes speeding had nothing to do with who is at fault yeah I did had to complete fault on his part. I dont understand how you guys cant even see that when I went to a police station and they told me exactly what I thought that you dont total a car driving 15 miles an hour that would take speeding.

My insurance company Kemper/Infinity Insurance has failed to provide basic service in regards to an existing claim I opened with them for a small accident that occurred with my Car. I had no collision with another car so no other insurance company is involved. The damages only affected the tires/brake systems for the passenger side of the car. I, along with the repair shop provided clear communication in regards to what parts need to be covered. A summary was sent to me on March 17th and the information did not match the invoice that was provided to the insurance company from the repair shop. As of now, I haven't been able to speak to a supervisor from the proper departments that have to handle this issue. The only supervisor I've been able to speak to was the supervisor for the customer care department. I'm also 7 days away from having my car in the shop for almost a month now. The car is ready to be picked up and because of this last small issue, I'm currently having to wait with no clear understanding whether this will be resolved or not. All I wish to have resolved is for the my insurance company to respond back to the repair shop and honor the invoice that the repair shop sent to them. I'm already having to pay for different parts of the cars that were unfortunately not covered by the insurance and can't afford to pay the remaining balance that is left according to the repair shop. I enrolled with them for a liability insurance in February 2023. I paid 2 big payments of $125 February 4 and $173 February 27, automatic payments. Next payments should be $62/month. Today I just received a text message saying my policy is cancelled. I was shocked since my account is set up for automatic payments, and I didn't even get any notification via mail or call about any issues. I called and they said they run the payment and it didn't go through, and I didn't even get a notification from my bank which means no attempt was even made. Its obviously a mistake on their end, and now they want me to enroll in a new policy and make new big payments. I talked to a manager, he said his name is *********************, he was rude and didn't really offer to resolve the issue, he just offered to check the rates for a new policy, he was even egging me to just go ahead and file a complaint to BBB. Totally unacceptable. Attached are the two big payments they deducted on my account, no attempt was made after that.Business Response

I have had life insurance from United Life Insurance since I was a toddler. My insurance policy for ****** was paid off in full. I am 44 and I called to inquire about my policy only to find out that the company was sold and my policy was not active even though it had been paid off for years. Hello,
There are a few dozen insurance companies with the name United in the title. We often get mixed up with several other companies that we are not related to. It just happens to be that United Life Insurance Company has the best SEO results when Googling for 'United Insurance'.
We searched for *********************** both as an owner and as an insured for both active and not active policies and we do not have any matches. We also searched by address to make sure. Also, United Life Insurance Company was not approved to sell policies in ******** ***** years ago, so it definitely must be another company.
We get MANY calls from policyholders who are looking for United Insurance Company of America, which was purchased by Kemper. They are NOT related to our company at all, we just have the misfortune of having a similar company name. Is there a way that you can route this complaint to the proper insurance company? Personal injury claim: *********** I have tried to get my personal injury claim resolved for the past 6 months and they will not return my calls. I've called three dozen times and they ignore me until I threaten with legal action. They call me quickly after this just to tell me I have been moved to another adjuster from a different department. I have been transferred 4 times in the past few months without progress forward.The current adjuster is ******************************* at X *******. He promised a resolution two weeks ago and has not responded to six phone calls/voice mails in the past two weeks. Their main CS line is always busy, I'm currently on hold for the past 25 minutes. I need a response and a resolution.This is should not be considered a business with this terrible of service. There is little to no integrity and always pushing the problem to the next person. No one should need to contact a company 30+ times to get a resolution to my personal injury claim, especially one that has an A+ rating.This should easily be a C- at best.Business Response

On January 9th, I filed a claim due to my vehicle flooding outside my apartment. The vehicle was picked up by the insurance company towing service for inspection. For over 3 months the company gave me the run arounds asking me unprofessional questions such as, where were you going on 12/31? I want to come to your job and look at pictures in your phone for dates? We couldn't find you on the lease at the apt building(I'm the only person on my lease), We talk to over 20 people and they said the flood happened on 12/31, it flooded through out the *********** up until 1/15/2023 so that was not true. I felt harassed and treated like a criminal instead of a customer/client. The person asked me to give her names of people living there, which I did she lied and claimed the people told her the flooding was on 12/31, each individual told me that's not what they said she lied on them. I was leaving for my family vacation on 2/19, I let the claims ***** know I would be out the country, when I returned I received a letter dated 2/27 that my claim was denied. I've called the office for over 2 weeks leaving messages asking where is my vehicle still to this date no reply. After doing some research I've learned this company is known for not wanting to payout insurance claims and giving people the run around. I've spend over $1,800 in car rental so that I can get to and from work now they are ignoring my calls costing more money due to still holding on to my vehicle. I just want my vehicle back, it was in good running condition besides the flood water from 1/9. Please help me get my vehicle back from the insurance company.Business Response

I was involved in an auto accident on January 19, 2023. It was not my fault. The person at fault hit me from behind while I was stopped at a red light. There were no injuries involved but my car did have some damage to the rear. I took photos of the person's driver's license and his auto ********************** information off of his phone, and I took photos of the damage to my car. His policy is underwritten by Infinity Insurance which is a subsidiary of Kemper Insurance. He did not wait for me to call the police and left the scene. When I called the police, they said they cannot come out if one of the involved parties left the scene and that I can file a report online. I opened a claim with Kemper Insurance and provided them details of the accident and their insured's information. I was then contacted by the person handling my claim, *************************. ****** gathered the accident details from me on a recorded line. I called to follow up and she said she's still trying to reach their insured. I never heard from her again after that. I called Kemper ************** and told them ****** was not responding to my voicemails and emails. They gave me the contact information for her supervisor. I got in touch with her supervisor, *************************. I was told they try to reach the insured for 30 days. After more than 30 days have passed since opening the claim, I followed up and was told they're still trying to reach the insured. I then received a letter in the mail dated March 8 and signed *************************** stating:"We completed our investigation of the above-referenced loss. Due to lack of cooperation by our insured, we have not been able to assign liability. Therefore, the claim has been closed and denied."I don't understand how an insurance company can deny a claim because they can't reach their own insured. They can just let him get away with causing an accident without any kind of liability? I need assistance to get Kemper to accept liability and fix my car.Business Response

There is nothing that proves to me that the business tried to reach their insured. This business practice simply encourages people who cause accidents and damage to other safe drivers' cars to get away with it. Anyone can just not answer phone calls and get away with what they've done. You're rewarding your insured by letting him get away with an accident he caused. It is not fair to safe drivers. It is unacceptable to reject my claim because you can't reach your own insured. I told you that multiple times. You need to find another way to reach him and hold him accountable for an accident he caused.

I was rearended by one of Kemper's customers on 7/3/2022. The car is finally fixed, and I am trying to sell it. I discovered that Kemper erroneously reported a total loss designation for my vehicle with NMVTIS. I informed Kemper of this on 2/26/2023 and they acknowledged the error. I have been working with ********************* who has told me she is trying to find out how long it will take to remove the designation. I have asked for updates and have not received any. Kemper needs to immediately remove the total loss designation. They also need to reimburse $179.73 that I paid when I picked up my car from the body shop. Kemper has all the necessary documents to resolve this issue. I'm frustrated by the lack of response.Business Response

I have been with Kemper auto under Infinity insurance for about 4 years and this is my first claim with them. The customer service is absolutely terrible. The communication on their end is non-existent. They came and picked up my car and I had to wait a week and a half to hear the resolution of the claim. In the meantime, I had no vehicle and they told me they were not going to cover a rental car until they had an estimate of time it would take to get it fixed and they would only cover those days.(I have rental reimbursement) I could never reach my initial adjuster ***************************. I called multiple times for several days and left multiple voicemails and he only called me back once 3 days after my initial call. I called his supervisor *********************************** multiple times as well and she reached back out a day or two later. They finally told me they were going to total out my car and let me get a rental car. Without my knowledge, they towed my car to ******* (I live in ***********, ** which is where they picked up the car from) and told me I had to drive to ******* to get my belongings from the car. The place the car is at is only open Mon-Fri and I work Mon-Fri and am now without a car but I am somehow responsible for driving to another state (with no car) to get my things from the car. My adjuster was changed to ********************* who doesn't answer the phone or call back either. This experience has been a headache and I am eager to be done with this claim and change insurance companies. This company is very unprofessional.Business Response
