      Kemper insurance claime department. On 3/22/2022 I had an accident I filed a claim with my insurance they took car of my car but never reimbursed me the $900.00 for the rental car. I have sent the rental car receipts to the person taking care of my claim like she asked several times and have not received the $900.00 yet. I told Michell I was going to seek legal help and she said she would have the check in the mail the next day but I never got it and I can't seem to get any where with her manager Mr Moreno either. It's been almost 1 year and still no check for the $ 900.00. My insurance claim # is 104631991593001 and Michelle Feldman is the person taking care of the claim.

      I was involved in a car accident on January 17, 2023. I went through the other persons insurance because he was found at fault. I was informed a week later on January 24, 2023 through a phone call that my car has been deemed a total lost. Since then I have not been contacted by the total loss department about the next steps for my claim. I have called at least 6 times to the department, trying multiple times to speak to my agent. I have even had to go to their manager and that person and yet to contact me either, leading to me contacting the senior manager. I have left them my claim number, phone number, and email each time so they can contact me back but I have yet to hear from them. I just want to move forward with this part of the claim so I can close it out and get the car taking off my property.

      I was rear ended in a hit and run accident. I was able to retrieve the license plate number of the vehicle. I tried to find out who the individual was and it was to no avail. I then attempted to to go through the insurance company on me and my girlfriend car at the time. I explained that I was rear ended and pushed into the rail of the freeway Wich the ***** nexis report clearly and undeniably stated. Kemper auto insurance *************** refused to allow for uninsured motorist claim because when they tracked down the license plate the driver told her ********************************************* that she was rear ended. Yet she fled the scene and made no police report. And because of this *************** says because liability is unclear an uninsured motorist claim isnt valid. More over A check was mailed in my girlfriends name and not mine also for the amount of $456.00 $12,557.57 was the estimate of total damages. I *********************** explained to *************** that my vehicle has front and rear dash cam. But do to the damages I wasnt able to retrieve the video because the ** slot is in the trunk. Because I couldnt give *************** the video he then redid the estimate. Because the uninsured motorist wasnt available to us we had to pay the deductible of $1,000. *************** went on to state that the police report only enclosed that the vehicle was rear ended Kemper wouldnt cover the damages to the front of the vehicle. Well on the front page of the ***** Nexis report it clearly and undeniably states that the other driver pushed my vehicle into the gaurd rail and fled the scene. I also had taken a picture of the other driver license plate that clearly showed no rear end damage Wich clearly excluded what the other driver told her insurance company. **** was explained to ***************. Yet no uninsured motorist claim could be used due to bad practice of Kemper auto insurance. Not even a fraction of the total cost was given. And *************** main reason he has not covered the front end is because the police report didnt show.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      If the vendors additional notes clearly says that the vehicle was pushed into the guardrail then wouldnt that be the findings of the police who investigated the scene? The police report only indicates the initial point of impact Wich was the rear end. If Im the additional notes says the car was pushed into the guardrail well whos findings was it? ***** Nexis fabricated the findings is what hes trying to say. Where else did these additional notes come from if the police didnt find it to true and accurate? 6 weeks passed by with hopes of the police catching the suspect and when we retrieved the police report it had none of her information on it. So when we initially filled the complaint it was a phantom driver as he suggests. Had I not given the license plate to **********  *** then would the uninsured motorist claim be valid? And the deductible for uninsured motorists claim is $250 not $1,000 as he claims it is. So there would be a balance left. So if a person is hit by another vehicle and the other driver takes off  the uninsured motorist coverage is supposed to cover the lost. Therefore the driver of the other vehicle was unknown enabling the claim of uninsured motorists code section 40-6-273
      Therefore the facts are the police findings are the additional notes in the ***** nexis report leaving front end damage unresolved. Any prior damage had been repaired with invoice to prove such. Kemper auto insurance has not resolved this issue.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      This analysis of how the accident occurred could only come from someone trying to get out of fixing the issue. How can you say that two moving vehicles moving at least 65 miles an hr and the impact would be a minor tap and couldnt send the other vehicle out of control from the far left lane to the very next lane **** is not a wire it is a steel guardrail meant to protect you from hitting the wall. The bumper and the bumper protecter had to be replaced. Im no way can you guess that two cars moving at a high rate of speed couldnt cause front end damage. Yet and still if this was an additional note from the police then it would have to be corroborated evidence to prove such. In order for it to be in the report at all its in the report because it was proven to be so. Or else the officer ******* never put it in the report. Further more I provided evidence that my vehicle had been repairs from any other damage that could possibly be spoken of. Everything that ********* is saying is merely a guess with nothing to corroborate what he is saying. No proof of past unrelated repairs yet I have proof that it has been repaired the police report mentions what has happened and yet just going on a hunch hes saying it didnt happen. There is clearly an unresolved matter here. How do someone say it was unrelated damage when the paid invoice has been provided to say different and yet its tottaly disregarded? Thats not right I expect my vehicle to be repairs. The uninsured motorist claim is not moot because before I gave my insurance company the picture I had no idea who the other person was nor did the police report help me. Therefore it was no way to know if the driver was insured or not. It sounds as if Kemper is protecting the person who fled the scene of an accident because if she has insurance then the money should be recouped because this is what they are expected to do when Im not able to use my uninsured motorist coverage that is paid for.

      My husband submitted a claim#*********** on 11/20/2022 the truck was pick up on 11/29/2022 for a evaluation, for a month and half we were calling every day to obtain information regarding the status of the truck. On December 20,2022 we received a call stating that the truck was consider a total loss. Which we agree too, once we had that information never again did we received any further information regarding the payment. We went and continue to call every day leaving message and requesting to speak to the supervisor. But we never received a call from them until 02/13/2023 indicating that they needing the pink slip. We mail the pink slip on 2/14 to the address provided. Once again we waited for them to give us a call regarding the payment method. My husband asked if he could have the location to the truck, the case worker did not know the actual location until she made her research and provided the correct location. My husband drove to the impound and Its turn out that the car was sold with all of our belongings worth up to $4,500 . We are very disappointed of the of company. We haven't received our check for the total loss but yet they sold the truck including our personal belongings and never provided us with a rental witch its included on our policy. WORST COMPANY EVER! I'm still waiting to speak to someone regarding my situation and receiving the check.

      I continue to pay a car note a a vehicle that has been classified as a total loss and I believe salvaged. I no longer have said vehicle. I continue to pay insurance on said vehicle. Kemper insurance is not returning calls or communicating with me. I want to be paid for my insured loss.

      on 7/29/2022 I was involved in an auto accident in which I rear ended another vehicle. The car was towed to a collision shop that was an authorized repair shop with Kemper called ************************* There was front end damage and damage to the engine that was causing a loud noise. The insurance company Kemper is refusing to pay for any engine damage in this accident. They only paid $8000 to the collision center which still has my car 8 months later as of the time of this complaint. Kemper told me under no circumstances will I have my engine problems paid for by a full coverage policy on a financed 2019 Infiniti QX50. So whenever I finally get the car from the collision center only the body damage that was done to it will be fixed but none of the mechanical issues would be taken care of . *** as the time of this writing they have advised me to have Infiniti fix the issue with the engine but of course, engine warranty with new cars are completely voided in the case of an accident. Kemper has deflected and dodged the issue regarding fixing the engine and are ignoring my requests on getting the body damage fixed from the collision center. They just tell me to keep waiting. 8 months for body repairs on a newer car is very unreasonable and so it the refusal to fix the mechanical issues with the car caused by the accident.

      Any warranty on a vehicle especially Infiniti says if the vehicle is in an accident that causes the engine damage . the warranty is voided. So if Infiniti wont fix it without payment , the insurance company who is supposed to cover damages from accidents, hence full coverage , should pay for it in full , they have indicated they refuse to cover the damage regardless of their appraiser guessing about the problem .

      I am rejecting this response because: Because of no visual damage to a car due to an accident they are rejecting further evaluation or action to the car? The appraiser looked at the engine and decided because he couldnt see the problem it wasnt their problem. The car was in perfect condition prior to the accident and DUE TO THE ACCIDENT, the engine now has issues . Full coverage insurance covers damage sustained in an accident , the appraiser simply looking at the car and shrugging his shoulders and saying good luck isnt full coverage . They simply dont want to pay for any more repairs and that isnt what full coverage is. The auto body shop has a *** investigator looking into why 7 months later they still have my car in pieces and Kempers name is on the side of their building . Neither kemper nor the body shop will assist me in finding out why a bumper replacement is taking 7 months . Then their idea is to tow it to Infiniti and have them repair the engine at my own expense ? This accident whether they want to admit it or not directly caused the engine damage . Kemper is refusing to assist with further diagnoses or assist me in retrieving the car itself from a body shop with their name on the side ***************** in orange , CA . The body shop is trying to threaten me to withdrawal the *** complaint or they will take longer

      My car was totaled in a hit and run on 1/1/23. Since then it has been almost impossible contacting my total loss adjuster, *********************** via email and phone. Calls to supervisors have also been unsuccessful. I was informed on the settlement for my car and that an email would be sent to me so I could sign the title of my vehicle over. This email never came and I have not been able to contact ******* since. My car has now been picked up by a tow company sent by the insurance company and payment still has not been made to me for my vehicle. I need someone to contact me immediately.

      I was in a car accident in October. At the time I was homeless with my two children. The woman jumped out in front of me and hit my van and totaled it. The auto company has been very vague on the process of how to do everything I was unaware this never happened before so when I asked the questions of about my rental, they said they would reimburse me. They have been putting me off for five months and I dont have a car. I have two small children and life has been Terrible. My adjuster at the time said they would reimburse me.
