On 9/5/23, I purchased parking for a football game at the **************************************) on 9/9/23. I paid $48.50 for parking and received a confirmation email stating "Your Space is Booked!" The email contained other pertinent information (Parking Pass #*********). We arrived to the designated location 1+ hour before the event and were advised that the parking lot was full. So, indeed, our space was NOT booked by ParkWhiz as so claimed. We were told by the on-site attendants to request a refund through ParkWhiz because ParkWhiz is a third-party and is NOT associated with event attendants or staff. It was unclear whether or not ParkWhiz even had permission to sell parking for this event in the first place! The football game ran into the late evening hours, so the morning after the event (9/10/23) I contacted ParkWhiz regarding the issue and asked for a refund. In my request, I advised that we had to find street parking far away from the venue and were late to the event because we had to walk a great distance. All other lots near the event were full by the time we were turned away from the lot that we paid for using ParkWhiz, so we did not have a receipt for other parking. It is best business practice that when you prepay for parking, it is because parking will be reserved for you and is therefore guaranteed. If its not guaranteed, you should not be allowed to prepay like we did in this case. Still, I was advised that ParkWhiz would not be issuing a refund despite their fraudulent practices. ParkWhiz offered a $30 credit, which I advised we were not interested in (1) because we paid $48.50, not $30, and (2) ParkWhiz had committed fraud and as such we would never be using their services again, I am demanding a refund for "reserved parking" that was never in fact reserved.Business Response

We would like you to know that while your space is reserved using ParkWhiz, we do not own the garage and sometimes they sell more spaces than are available which they do not inform us of. The agent you spoke with was following process when they asked you to provide proof that you did not in fact park in the garage and parked elsewhere.
Regardless, it looks like your pass was refunded yesterday (9/10) afternoon. While we release the funds immediately, depending on your bank it can take up to 3-5 days to show in your account.

On Weds, 8/30/2023, my family attended a Rockies game in ******. We paid for parking at the valet at the *********************** location ($12.72 - tip was not included). When we arrived, we pulled up the app and our reservation and the employees working valet refused to take our reservation. They stated they had never seen it before from that app, and therefore we couldn't park with them unless we paid their normal valet fee. We ended up driving away and finding street parking instead.I submitted a complaint via email the night of the game, and I heard back immediately with this response: I'm sorry to hear about your poor experience. We take all customer issues seriously and your feedback is much appreciated. Did you go to the correct location?This valet parking at the hotel entrance of *********************** is located on the right side of Market ******** after the intersection with ************. On 8/13/2023 I purchased a parking pass through the Parkingwhiz app. When I arrived the location *********** located at the location ************************************************ the police had the street blocked off due to a parade. I was not allowed to enter the street and had to find parking *********. I called Parkingwhiz and was told I would be issued a refund. They sent me an email stating that I should attach a copy of the receipt where I paid for parking at another parking lot. To date I have not received a refund,Business Response

06/17/2023 I paid for two parking passes. 1st was purchased at 11:27 am for 11:27am-1:27pm in the amount of 2nd was purchased at 1:27 PM and was supposed to be from 1:27 PM -3:37 PM but was inadvertently issued for 11:27am- 01:27 PM which is BEFORE I even purchased it Now I have a citation for $87 dollars because of this error and Park Whiz has been no help.Business Response

On 8/19/2023 I parked in the ********* Municipal Garage in *********, ** (***************). I purchased a parking pass for specific hours that day from ParkWhiz. ParkWhiz charged my credit card ending **** for these hours - for a total of $6.56. ParkWhiz will have this as Booking # ********* In the parking garage, I tried multiple times to get the ** code to work, on my way in and out of the garage. It never worked once. I arrived after the booking time (1:05pm) and left well ahead the 8 hours I paid for. Ultimately, to get out of the garage, I had to pay $5.00 out of pocket. $5 is actual cost of parking in that garage on the day I was there, not the amount ParkWhiz charged me. Regardless, I was never able to get the ** code on the ParkWhiz app to work - therefore the company provided me no service at all for the $6.56. I emailed ******************************* on 8/21/2023 and explained that the ** code I was given didn't work anywhere in the garage, and that I wanted $6.56 refunded back to my credit card. I received a response from someone named **** that didn't provide me an answer one way or another as to whether I would receive a refund. **** asked for a copy of the receipt proving I paid $5.00 in the garage and I emailed that to ParkWhiz. The same PDF copy of the receipt that I sent to ParkWhiz is attached to this complaint.Again, the company didn't provide the service they claimed they would. I had to pay out of pocket to pay in the parking garage. I'm asking for a full refund of $6.56 back to my credit card. Thanks.Business Response

On Saturday 8/19/23, I attempted to park at a Park Whiz parking lot. I tried to submit payment via ****** Pay four times and credit card two times, and I kept getting a message that the payment wasn't going through, so I ended up parking at another lot. However, Park Whiz actually charged ****** Pay and my credit card each of these times so I was charged six times and I didn't even park there due to the error messages. I have a receipt with my license number from where I actually parked due to these rejection messages. Park Whiz initially said they would deduct one duplicate but never responded when I informed them that I didn't park there, and I didn't know that they had also charged my ****** Pay.Business Response

I booked a parking spot, to arrive after 5pm. I got to the parking lot at 5:02pm and the attendant stated that the parking lot was "triple over-booked" and that the parking apps did not obey the space limits. My parking pass number was ********* and I sent my receipt to ParkWhiz, along with a request for a refund. They asked if I parked somewhere else, and to submit those receipts. I parked in one of your spots last night, tried using my credit card first and it wouldn't go through, I tried twice before switching to my debit card. ParkWhiz doesnt ask for a license plate number unless you have the app on your phone. Dont park utilizing their services your car will get towed and they will not care.Business Response
