I paid $42 for a parking pass for an event with ParkWiz. I was turned away from the parking even though I had a valid pass. They oversold / didnt check other for passes and gave up my spot that I paid for.Business Response

We are sorry for the invconenience! While *********** with the lots to provide parking services we do not own/operate the lots. If management sells more spaces than available, they do not inform us so that we may inform you. We have gone ahead and refunded the $42 back to your account as you were unable to park in the spot you purchased. On 2/17/23, I had tickets to the Hootie and the Blowfish concerts, and I was informed via email to get parking via parkwhiz. The figures of the parking on the Parkwhiz site indicated that the parking was near the *********; however, all of the parking anywhere near the arena was blocked off by barriers, and the only available parking was in non-pave muddy lots not even close to the *********. I talked to several people walking over to the concert, and they were suprised at the parking also.Business Response

On Feb. 2nd, 2023, I purchased a parking spot in Downtown *******, ** for Saturday, Feb. 11th from 9AM-9PM. I paid $27.55 total for the reserved spot. My parking pass # was *********. My license plate was uploaded to the pass. On Saturday, Feb. 11th, I arrived at the lot around 9:45AM and followed the email directions exactly: "This open-air lot is located on the east side of *********, between ************** and *************. Look for a green wooden post with a blue-and-white sign that reads "Laz" in red." I parked in the correct location, at the correct time, correct date and in the correct car.I returned to my car at 5PM. I had a parking violation notice on my car for "No payment to park" for $87. Parkwhiz texted me asking if I was able to park in the lot okay. I responded and said no, that I received a parking notice for $87 and to please dismiss this charge. They asked for my parking pass then said that they would not help to settle it; I would have to go through a different party to resolve the matter. So, they are making the customer that paid well in advance for parking go through hoops just to dismiss an additional charge after already paying them for parking!Zero customer service, zero effort to help (why even text me to ask if everything went okay if you will not help?). I need the $87 charge dropped as I already paid for parking for that day.Business Response

It looks like that citation was issued through PRRS which is whom you would have to show your proof of parking. In the meantime, we have issued a refund for your original payment of $27.55 back to your account. On 1/24/2023 I made a one night reservation for parking at ************************************************* through ParkWhiz (Pass # *********). When I arrived at the garage the attendant informed me that the garage was full and they would not take my car. I parked in a free space on the street Park Whiz's refunds policy is that if the garage is full you will receive a full refund. When I requested a full refund, Park Whiz gave me only half my money and the remainder as a credit on account because I didn't have a receipt for parking somewhere else.Business Response

I pre purchased a spot for an event in **********. Upon arrival, the attendant advised the scanner didnt work resulting in me paying double for spot. When I contacted the company ParkWhiz they stopped communicating. I have followed up with them 5x over 2 weeks. The company owes me $10 refund for double charge.Business Response

I paid Parkwhiz for parking passes on 2 occasions. $16 each time. I had already parked at the same location on other occasions without any issues. I received 2 parking tickets for October and December, both notifications in December. I was ticketed because the app did not have my plate assigned to the parking pass for each day. I have my plate saved on the app. At no point was I made aware that the plate had to be manually assigned or the parking pass would be null. Upon notifying Parkwhiz of the situation all the said was too bad you didnt assign a plate. They are basically keeping peoples money for parking passes that should be voided and refunded if they dont have a plate assigned. They should have a better way to manage this. Their customer service is hard to reach and it always takes 2 weeks in between responses. I need them to provide me proof to dispute the parking tickets and if they will not they should refund my money for the 2 days in question.Business Response

On December 24, 2022 I paid $42.86 (with the oversized fee included) on the app to park at the city parking garage for a 2 hour reservation. I got to the garage and the manager there repeatedly said he would could not park the car because I was using my phone as a key for the car and didnt have the physical one. I asked the garage for a refund and they said to go through ParkWhiz since this is where I made the reservation. After I was refused service I emailed ParkWhiz about the issue and they told me to respond with my parking pass ID number which I immediately did. It has now been over a week without a response from them and I have sent follow up emails waiting for a response and still nothing. Im just looking for a resolution considering I was never provided the service I paid for.Business Response

This service claims you can reserve a parking spot for an event. You pre-pay for the spot along with a service fee. In return you receive a guaranteed spot at the lot you choose. I did so for a UCONN-Villanova basketball game in ********, ** on December 28th, 2022. I arrived at 5:40 (the confirmation email said my spot was reserved after 5:30 and until 11:30 that evening) and was told by the attendant that the lot was full. I showed the attendant my receipt and parking pass, and he replied that the service was first come first served. I explained to the attendant that the service guaranteed the parking space and that it was pre-paid. No luck. I was not allowed to park there. I drove quite some distance to a garage, had to pay an additional fee, and missed the start of the game.Business Response

I purchased parking for the Patriots vs. Raiders game in ********* on 12/18. I paid $25 plus a $4 fee. I arrived to the lot and they were charging $20 cash or card to park. ParkWhiz claims to charge no more than the walk-up price though this is at least the 4th time I have been charged significantly more than the walk-up price through their app. This game was flexed out of the Sunday Night slot over a week in advance. ParkWhiz did not update the time in their app until the day before and clearly did not update their prices.Business Response

I pre-purchased a parking space for a concert in ******, ** on December 4th. The concert was December 7, 2023. I paid $60.40 for the parking garage pass. When I arrived at the garage the night of the show, the entire parking garage was full and no spaces available. I was able to enter the garage with my pass but I eventually had to turn around on the rooftop and exit. Many other cars had to turnaround and leave as well.I emailed Park Whiz on December 8th and explained the situation and requested a refund. I received a response asking for more information which I then provided. Since then, I have received no responses asking about the status of my refund. I want the full amount refunded ASAP since they oversold the parking garage capacity. Because of the parking problems, I missed 80% of the concert.Business Response
