    They lie about cancelling and mislead about charges. Actually cost more than ortho. Cancelling is a nightmare. Call and get put on hold. Will say call you back, this never happens. if cancel early they go after the $250 supposed discount you received. My account was cancelled by myself. I agreed to pay the $250 on a payment plan. The person I talked to on the phone accepted this. I started paying on Sept 1. $10 a month. Ecoshield changed their minds and now requires $50/mo. Person (*****) I spoke to Sept 17, 2023 continually placed me on hold (5/6 times). Poorly trained is my guess. He read from a script. interrupted me repeatedly. Spoke to himself constantly while trying to get payment to go through. I now owe $190. They will get it in $50 increments. Do not trust these people. They lie/mislead and you can never get through on the phone.

    SCAM. Believe the redditors. Believe the one-star reviews on ****** and Yelp. We have reported them to the BBB. We are seeking legal action against this company. Refuse to cancel a service which they peddled to us, preying on new homeowners by knocking on our door within days of moving in. Performed only 1/2 the offered service upon initial visit. Despite offering to perform their services inside and outsider our home, they only worked outside our home. When we asked them to return to complete the service, they made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. They also over-sold their services, assuring us they cover rodent control. After discovering a mouse, when we reached out to them, they said the monthly fee doesn't cover rodent control. Do yourself a favor: do not give this company the time of day. They will charge your credit card until you do as we've done and threaten legal action with a letter from a lawyer. I cannot believe businesses like this are allowed to exist in the 21st century.

    I am so disappointed with this service. I have tried to cancelled 3 times, and they continue to try and provide me with what they call a "better solution". Their customer service is horrible and I am always on hold. The third time I had enough as bugs and spiders continue to show up if not more than we have ever had. I even took pictures this time to provide proof. As much as this cost $150 per quarter, I can't believe that they can't even remove spiders. And when they come to provide service, they just show up with a "duster" and walk around the house. I have wasted money on this company. I should have gone with a different service that I did last year. Do not go with this company.

    this this business is a scam do not sign anything to let them do anything to your house, if you sign you will be giving them to keep billing you for services, then they will threaten to *** you if try to cancel them and is they do agree to cancel your contract they will charge you to cancell if you pay with a credit card they will simply take our of your credit acct without your knowledge

    I have never dealt with such a worse service company before. A sales guy comes to your house and sells you a contract for quarterly treatments without mentioning about the contract terms even once. he made it sounds like the service comprises of 2 visits, first to kill adult bugs and 2nd to kill younger ones and you can continue if you like the service. and then they charge you for their second visit which they say is most crucial. So it's almost a scam where they sell you first visit at discount but 2nd visit which is expensive is the crucial one. I saw bugs even after their first visit and reported to them so even the quality of bug treatment is not effective at all. couple of kids show to your house and spray the chemical at few corners of the house and expect it to work. Just buy a can of ortho home defense and do it yourself which would be more effective than their service.

    This company is awful!1. Their products do not work. Less than a week after spraying for spiders on the exterior of my home the spider webs were back.2. They contractually lock you in for a minimum of 5 visits. You'll pay $$$ if you try to cancel early.3. Their staff are below average. Only one of the 5 that came to my home did a thorough job. One guy was coughing a lot, shuffling around pathetically, and told me he's been having a fever! Needles to say, I declined interior treatment.Use a reputable company...definitely not this one!

    I have used them for a year and I have two wasp nests on and in my house. I believe their inability to spray parts of the roof attracted more wasps to that hard to reach location. They should've been able to prevent the wasp nest on the ground but they were too scared of wasps to do it. When I canceled, I was charged a cancelation fee when they were the ones who failed to keep up their end of the contract. The first nest is on the ground, totally accessible for anyone but the guy who came to spray was scared of wasps and didn't have any protective equipment. The second manager lady was allergic to wasps, again didn't have protective gear and said it would cost $500 additional to remove it. The wasp nest is inside my hose so I will just gas it and throw it out, no need to spend energy on it. The second wasp is in a difficult location on the roof. This company doesn't do roofs. Because they sprayed everything else, the wasps all were attracted to the one unsprayed area. So essentially, the company helped the wasps. I would've been better off with no spray. It's all or nothing with pests I think.

    I told *********** that I would only try the service for one application and did not agree to a quarterly contract. A service man showed up for a second treatment and I said that I had already cancelled service, as I had no results from the first bug spray. I have told them verbally, in person, via **** mail, email, and text that I have cancelled over ***************************************** for payment on the second treatment which never happened. I would never use this company or recommend them. Horrible communication and the product is ineffective.

    Ive had nothing but great service by EcoShield. Since the day they knocked on my door and let me know about the dozen of wasp nests that were untreated by our then current pest control company, Ive had nothing but great service. They are timely, thorough and they explain what they will be doing and again what was done. We use them for pest control and also mosquito control, as we are on water. From mice, to spiders, to earwigs, to ants, we get it all. The quarterly service does the trick most of the time, but if we see anything, we call and they come right out. I honestly couldnt be happier. *******, **
