Our brand new camper was purchased just a year ago, we took it in to get gray tank replaced because of it leaking, waited 3 months for the new tank to come in. Took camper in on July 22 only for them to call and tell us a few hours later that the spotter pulling it in, WRECKED it, in turn causing thousands of dollars in damage. they did a sub par job fixing it and called us to let us know that everything was finished and we could pick it up. We picked it up Aug 2 and went on our camping trip, the gray tank starts leaking half way through our trip. My husband quickly realizes that the tank we waited 3 months on was never even replaced. They just rigged it ** in hopes it would last and we wouldnt know about it. This is fraud. They put down on the work order it took 6 hours to replace it, that info was printed out and given to us, If my husband hadnt put a temporary fix of putty on on the gray tank in April we wouldnt have known it was still the old one. When the general manager finally contacted us for the FIRST time TODAY, he said he was not sure how this happened. At first blamed forest river for supposedly sending a black tank instead of a gray one. Which was not even communicated to us. Then after voicing to him I plan on calling Forest River myself about this. He later calls me and says they might actually have the right tank after all. (go figure) but again why did you all say you changed it when you didnt. And why was this not told to us when picking it up. This place does not need to be in business. There is no telling how many times they have gotten away with something like this. Their costumer service is absolutely terrible. They communicated nothing to us except pictures in the beginning of our camper they damaged. I asked to have the owner reach out. Never happened. They are good at letting others handle the issue. Instead of management doing it. They need to be investigated. We are still in the process of getting our new gray tank replaced.Initial Complaint

This past week I tried to purchase an RV only to have the finance woman ***** LIE to the banks about my credit history. She misinformed them that I filed bankruptcy this year which I did NOT. The bankruptcy was 3 1/2 years ago November 2018. Then when confronted with this she LIES AGAIN saying she didn't say this year even though multiple witnesses heard her say that. Then she LIED again saying it got canceled out in 2019 which again it didn't it was November 2018. ******* was also giving banks false information stating i live in ************ which i DON'T i live in an entirely different city & state. And the woman who answers the calls at the desk is rude & refuses to give messages to people at the sales ******************** department. This business has been falsifying loan applications & lying to the banks on customers denying them when they should be approved. Brought brand new 2021 RV in for service when we picked it up it had been hit on the roof railing. Causing damage along the seam causing RV to leak in kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. Causing possible damage to walls and causing mildew carpets in kitchen and bedroom. Not sure of other damage we cant see. We see orange color stain on shower floor. We think it is caused by the walls being damage by water causing the color on wall to leak behind shower enclosure. Pictures were taken by CW when we brought the camper in with no damage and pictures taken by RV owner when we picked it up of damage to roof. They refuse to take responsibility and fix it. Purchased a 30k RV from camping world in ********* ** four months ago. Promised at time of pick up that all warranty items will be fixed being this trailer is brand new. After waiting a few months, I called the service department and kept giving me the run around. No one would call me back with a status. After not getting any answers I call the general manager. He also gave me the run around and never would call me back. Finally after another month I was told nothing was ordered. Lost all my paperwork. Told me to go to the ************ ** location because it was closer to my home. After one month of having my trailer there and after many calls with no one returning any of my calls, I got ahold of ray in service. Told me everything was done but a door that was back ordered. Went there to confirm for myself due to all the lies and in fact nothing was done. The flat out lied to me. Ask for *** again and told him to call me. Nothing. For days. Asked for the manger and he refused to talk to me. Next two days received a call my parts are in and to bring my trailer down. They already had it for over a month. Went back down there to find out they ordered nothing but one door. Note the door received was not even close to being right. I'm going to proceed with legal action against both location. All camping world cares about is taking your money and will never stand behind their product. Biggest players is the general manager *** at the lake city location and Ray from service from the ************ location. Management at both locations are very poor and unprofessional. I have a 30k RV that I can not get fixed and will be selling. Camping world will not stand behind their product.Business Response

We took our travel trailer to have the roof repaired (re-sealed) my husband got the quote with everything he wanted repaired specifically detailed in writing in our quote. We received a call on July 29th of 2022 that our trailer was completed. We go get it and my husband noticed that the chemical they used to seal the roof is still tacky and very sticky. We do not live close to Bakersfield so with that being said all the dirt, bugs that were flying in the air as we drove home are now stuck on my trailer. When I get home I start inspecting the work and I noticed that they did not do the drivers side slide out like stated in our quote. I immediately contacted camping world and spoke to (******) and he told me to email him pictures and he would fix the issue, which we did, multiple times and havent heard anything to resolve this issue. Our toy hauler has been there since June 8,2022. We get the run around every time we call and try to get an update. After asking repeatedly for our service rep to call us back I asked to speak with a supervisor. He called me back and was trying to keep us updated. He went and found our unit and it had been hit when another employee was backing another camper in. It wasn't reported to us. We went to Camping World of ********** to see the damage. We've called for an update and couldn't speak with anyone.We've had to drive to the dealership on two seperate occasions and wait for someone to talk to us. Monday August 1st I called and had to leave a message, I've yet to receive a phone call. I think it's terrible that you can't get anyone to call you back and talk to you about what's going on with our camper and why it's taking so long!' Our service rep did call us one time and that was to tell us that some parts had come in, that's all. I am beyond disappointed at the service we've received from them. That is not how to treat people. We deserve to know what is going on with our Fifth Wheel!! We deserve to be called back in a reasonable amount of time and not be avoided. We deserve answers. Camping World of ********** has damaged our camper and it needs to be fixed along with the issues that brought us in in the very beginning. Insurance instructed me to Camping World of ******** for repairs from a vandalism. Aug 6/2021 est was done. Sept 2021 unit was dropped off with a 3-4 month possibility of completion. Company went through extensive turnover, and the person handling my claim was gone. I was re assigned to **** who was newly in his position. **** was very difficult and refused to make progress on more than 1 occasions. He did not read the estimate or work orders correctly causing many things to be neglected, unacknowledged or not done at all. On 7/2022 I was requested by him to go to Camping World ******** to find a solution for couches that were unavailable. Upon seeing my unit I noticed the floor was left torn open. The door looked like it was broken into (still). It was supposed to replaced. Wall 2 and windows soft/damaged. There were literally zero repairs done. Nothing was completed in over 11 months. My unit was left neglected from basic maintenance. 2 new batteries are dead entirely from sitting with no charge in over 1 year. Floor sustained more damage from them tearing. Steps broken. Straps not replaced. Literally nothing was done. The shop collected over ******* in payments in Sept 2021. Never fulfilled the job. I was denied a copy of the shops work order. I was denied to take further pictures of the damage obtained at Camping World ********. My unit has also withstood receiving exterior body damage in their lot. **** was not reading the work orders correctly and apologized once, but continued to compound this problem throughout the interaction out of I'll training and what seems spiteful. I was told by him to take all my money back and my unit. He refused to help me. He called me ungrateful. They had my unit for a year with zero progress. Costing my family 2 *******. So far. Upon pick up I was refused my checks. I was refused a work order. I took my camper in to ********************* to get roof and sides recaulked. They told me charge is $159 an hour, up to 6 hrs on roof and 4 hrs on sides. They charged 10 hrs plus supplies(caulking). When I got home, I got ladder and checked roof. No new caulking around vents, AC unit, satellite, on front edge, or 90% of top. I want a refund of 4 hrs labor because they only did maybe 1 hour and 1 tube of caulking. When I complained, they then said they washed and did UV coat. But roof is filthy so that is a lie. I had purchased a AT200 ATV for $2807.98 on 4/29/2022 which included assembly and operation check for extra $179.99. Waited a week for assembly and operation check for pickup. I got it home it didn't run, battery needed hook up. Wife drove up and down driveway didn't sound right. I went to check the oil it blew all over me and wife. We had an accident with our camper last October (2021). The wheels fell off when we were driving. We had the camper towed to camping world and they agreed to fix it. After initial assessment they told us it was likely totaled because the frame was bent and the axles broken. We didnt hear from them for over a month.l despite calling several times. ******* parts was asked to assess the camper a second time. They said they could fix it (they sell the parts so of course). Our insurance cut a check for camping world at this point around $12,000. It has now been ten months since the accident and our camper is still not fixed. We have been displaced and had to buy another camper (we live in it full time-were travel healthcare workers). They still dont return our calls and were not sure what to do next. Were very frustrated and feel this is totally unacceptable. We would love some insight navigating this circumstance.Business Response

We take all consumer issues very seriously and appreciate your office bringing this matter to our attention.CWRV Sales confirmed that we could not repair the frame and believed the unit was totaled. Mr. ********** ***************** did not agree and reached out to ******* *************** directly to have the repairs completed. ******* arrived at our dealership on 5/28/22 to complete the work on the unit. During that time the dealership was waiting on some miscellaneous parts for additional repairs to be made. It was Camping Worlds'understanding that ******* was repairing the frame and tires. ******* did not repair the tires, therefore our Rochester dealership had to order the parts for that repair. The tires and rims are on order and all other repairs are completed. Once the parts arrive, we will complete the remaining repairs. To that end, we consider this matter closed.
