We bought camper and there were issues and took back so they could resolve the issue and the work that was done to correct issue was not done correctly. We called and tried to resolve issue and got the run around or they would not return our call and sometimes even hung up on us.Business Response

Purchased 2022 Prime Time Avenger Camper June 1, took off the lot June 2. Noticed water leak from unknown source and reported on June 18. Was told a mobile unit would come July 7, then was told they don't have one. I called one week later to report damage to the bathroom vanity, it was literally rotting away and already had visible mold A driver showed up weeks later to remove unit and wasn't able to, after the service manager said it would be no problem, after seeing site pictures. (Mind you we removed the deck even after she said there would be no issue.) He asked if he could look to see if he could find the leak and repair it to "save our season", he found several loose fittings that he tightened and would remove unit after season was over, stating that even if he could have taken it that day, "our camping season would be over". I showed him the mold on bathroom vanity and many other damages due to water. Once we returned, that weekend, we noticed that water was still leaking under walls running along the whole front of unit. Much water damage inside the unit and whole outdoor kitchen and visible mold. Called again and reported it. After many unanswered calls and emails, they agreed to pick up the unit, which they did today without a notice to me as we agreed upon so I could be there when they got the unit. Within 3 hours of the unit arriving in *************, I received an email from Corporate stating they "had my case and service history reviewed by our national service directors. They have advised that your unit does not qualify for a buyback of full amount you paid" Service history? The unit was two weeks old when I first reported the leak. I'd like to know what would qualify. Since there is already visible mold, this is huge concern to me and I do not feel safe putting my family back in this unit. I requested that they settle my loan and I would purchase another unit OR I expected a replacement unit within one week of them pulling mine off my site.Initial Complaint

They advertise about 0 Money down and low payments and then they run your credit through multiple lenders which lowers your credit score. Why cant we just bring our credit reports in the office or yet they find company that will say what they are looking for and get approved for a loan. Its wrong to do this to people and then blame it on lenders. You are defeating the purpose of building credit. Its false advertisement, and you are not helping the dealership of the consumer. I desire to move into a RV if you cant do just say you cant from the jump or leave me alone. Dont ruin and run mhy credit and then say you cantBusiness Response

I dont even know where to begin. We have had NOTHING but problems with Camping World in general.First and for most, the ** camping World is not respectful. They do not answer the phone, when someone does answer the phone they are rude at the front desk. We call multiple times to speak with not only our service advisor but others when she is not available and no one comes to the phone. They always say they will take a message and have someone return our call. No one ever does. Ive went into the service side to have them pull our service order and half of the issues we took it in for were not even on the order. I spoke with our advisor that day and she stated they started/fixed some of the things on the order. (Awesome) I then spoke with her a couple days ago and she was nothing but rude and had the opposite to say about our unit how nothing had been done. I called them about a month ago stating we needed our camper finished by July 29th and Monday July 25th she stated nothing was done other than the faucet. She then stated that our **** was almost ***** because warranty did not cover cosmetic damages. Which was fine, I told them not to worry about fixing things warranty did NOT cover, that I would fix them myself. This is just a couple of the issues we have had with them. My significant other and I Purchased a brand new 2022 camper from camping world a few months ago. After the 1st trip there were ***** manufacturing defects that needed to be repaired. Water leaks, furniture pieces falling apart, trim falling off, walls not attached, sink leaks, etc We brought our camper in for service the morning after we returned from our trip as instructed by an individual named ********* that I spoke with via email while on our trip. This was now over a month and a half ago, and we dont have our camper back. I have called the corporate offices, after getting the run around by the store managers, and got the same runaround by corporate that we got in the store. Multiple messages left with no response. I did have a manager named ********* call me that had absolutely no idea what was going on and asked me if I needed to bring my camper in for warranty repairs. I had to, for about the TENTH time, explain the situation again. I was told she was going to take it in to her manager meeting 4 days ago and then call me back. Well, that must be a very long meeting because I havent heard a peep out of anyone. I tried to call the store again today and spoke with another manager named ******** who I AGAIN, explained my situation to and was told she would have the General manager call me. Big surprise, more silence! I paid a good bit of money for this sub par product and am requesting assistance with gaining compensation for receiving a sub par product and even more sub par service. The semi driver who delivered my AC unit pulled the unit from the back of his semi and let it hit and bounce on the ground.Why was the lift gate on the truck not used?Why would a $1,679.67 unit be treated as such? (Specially one equipped with compressors and refrigerant)I ordered this AC unit with the intent to have installed by 7/18/22 as the temps have been increasing in NE. I have small animals and a child on board and absolutely needed this AC to avoid heat stroke.I was not comfortable, nor did I want to put the time and energy into installing a unit that has been compromised. A compromised unit could affect the longevity and warranty of the unit. I purchased my camper on May 28, 2022. During the inspection there were numerous concerns that affected safety of the unit which were to be repaired prior to delivery such as: fuel pump, ladder, electrical lights, levels, and more. The unit was set to be delivered numerous times throughout June 2022, but for a multitude of reasons, CW kept delaying the deliveries. Finally a delivery date was set for June 24, 2022. Throughout the week of 6/24 I contacted CW numerous times to get final confirmation with no response. On 6/24 I called 13 times before I finally received an answer at 2 pm that they would not be delivering as none of the repairs had been made (they had the camper for a month at this point and **** "guaranteed" it was complete). Since they waited until the day of delivery to cancel, I lost money on the rental spot. As well as lost an entire month due to their negligence. *** took of the Camping World *************************** and quickly tried to rectify by getting the camper ready and to me within a few days but with more repairs needed at a later date. It has now been a month and the parts department has not mailed the new parts and a repair team has not been dispatched. I have filed a complaint with Camping World headquarters and have not received a response back from my Agent ************************* in over a month despite numerous calls and emails to contact her. My camper is in barely working order and the repairs are now expected to be completed by me. After two months of owning a camper that needs repairs to make it fully safe, it has become a hindrance to me traveling large distances.I have requested financial restitution for time and money lost and have received no responses. I have gone a second month of not being able to use my camper and will be expecting restitution for the second month as well.Business Response

We bought a 2019 Travel Trailer from this place, we did a couple of short trips the first year, but on July 2020 we went to ******** and we notice that the back tires were eating the thread very rapidly, for that reason we had to buy tires half way to ******** and back, we called Camping World and mentioned our concerns but they did NOT do nothing, On July 2021 we were on our way to the ***** Mountains and my husband notice smoke coming from the back of the trailer, we pulled over and in deed black smoke was coming from the left rear tire, everything melted (I have pictures) we were stranded till the next day my son and a friend brought some parts so we can take the trailer back to ******, we called Camping World and they said that they could NOT do anything, we search online for the manufacturer and found out there was a RERCALL on the Axel, they send the parts and again we asked Camping World but they said they could NOT install it, having no other choice my husband installed it himself. On June 18 2022 we took a short trip to Patagonia Lake and on our way back we heard some noises, we pulled over and for our surprise the back tire was gone, it came off on the highway (have pictures) it was a very scary situation, we waited 5 hours for a tow truck, and took it back to Camping World, they said they will look at it, after 3 weeks not hearing anything from them my husband and I went to check and nobody had even look at it, we spoke with 2 managers and ******* mentioned that it had an extended warranty, but he next day they call us to tell us that they were not gonna fix it because the moment my husband installed the axel the extended warranty was voided, so why didn't they installed the axel if it had a warranty? purchasing a Travel Trailer is a big decision, and represents a substantial amount of funds on our part, our hard earned money, for this people not to give a care, instead the young manager ***** was arrogant, narrow minded, and disrespectful.Business Response

We got this camper last summer after our first camper had water issues. We upgraded to hopefully not have any more problems. Not so much. Since then camper world had our camper for 7 month over the winter to fix all the problems and winterize. When they winterized they didnt put enough water in the lines which caused leaking in shower faucet and toilet I also wondering if it caused other leaking why it leaks around shower floor. We go to check on it get it back and nothing was done except the warranty work which I question as currently we cant move any of our slides which means we cant even bring it in to get looked at. Ill start with last year. Our A/C didnt work which they refused to fix so we are currently using upstairs to cool the whole camper with a fan blowing down the stairs. The table latches that are to hold the table up dont and even after them fixing them I was under table to move it as I knew they always pulled out of the wall so I did carefully well the table fell on my face breaking my nose. We now leave the table down. Our shower leaks, fireplace quit working, our awnings quit working, the drawers wobble I brace myself for them to fall out when I use them and it did happen once which they did fix but they still wobble. Our camper was infested with mice as none of the holes from outside in had anything to stop them just coming on in. These are the now problems and I am sure I am missing some as its constant. There was also another list of at least 15 things that were supposed to be fixed as well that were kind of but not very well. The amount I spent on this I expect a little better. We also have a warranty that we paid for that has not been addressed when switching to the new camper. Last year they told us they would do something after warranty work was done but you see how that went. Now theres nothing. I purchased an RV from Camping World ******* (delivered via Camping World ************) on June 21, 2022, and paid via bank check for $136,630.I was sold a brand new, 2022 Thor Ace ****, never titled, and alleged to be in new condition. There was water damage in the outdoor kitchen which the ******* dealership told me about prior to delivery and offered to replace with another unit or continue delivery and I'd work the repair with ************. I assumed this was the extent of the issues with the motorhome.Five miles after delivery on the way home, a check engine light came on. Diagnostic codes indicated it was related to the catalytic converter system. My device also indicated that codes had been cleared a few hundred miles prior back in *******. I asked ******* Camping World about this and the ** finally admitted that the catalytic converter had been replaced on my motorhome, and it was his guess that the local shop they used reset the check engine light. I spoke with the shop that did the work and they said they replaced a catalytic converter and O2 sensor because the catalytic converter had been stolen. My primary issue with this situation is that I was not aware of this repair being completed prior to me purchasing it. I purchased a brand new motorhome that should have been in factory condition. This repair was completed at a non-************ center, was not authorized by ***** and the issue still persists so it was not fully fixed. Therefore, I paid much more than I should have, and I have no idea what work they really did, but it is not in the condition I was told when purchasing it. I would like Camping World to buy back this motorhome because I did not purchase it in the condition it was advertised in.
