Bought a brand new ******* 17b camper from camping world ******, ** March 2022. Have had in to the shop 2 tubes and mobile mechanic out once. The wall AC unit is not draining and now we have mold and it's draining into the camper onto our$800 mattress. We can no longer live in it. Camping world is now ignoring us and still not wanting to fix it or refund us anything to get a new one.Business Response

March 2022 our RV was stolen we had extended warranty and gap protection on the unit which was covered by Good ***. The claim was filed the checks were sent to Camping world but the checks were not sent to me the buyer. I bought a brand new camper back in September 2021 and it has been nothing but problems. The slide has broke 5 times within a few months the dealership wont communicate with me on service of the camper. They said they fixed it 3 times and when we pick it up it works and then once we leave and go camping the slide breaks again. I have contacted corporate and they said they will not buy it back. I am stuck with a broken camper that I can not use and its at the dealership and I cannot get anyone to talk to me about the problem. Camping World of ****** sent a technician to my camper to check on why our ** wasn't cooling. The technician approved the ** for replacement. No other instructions were provided. ******* in parts mentioned it could be months before they get the replacement. I could not wait that long as I use the Camper nearly every weekend on our hunting lease. Thus I searched for new unit in the meantime and purchased it from Camping World ************ and Installed it myself.Finally ******* called and said the unit was in about 2 months later . I drove 1.5 hours to the property to meet the technician and let him know he could just leave it with me as I already put a new unit on. However he refused to leave it because I didn't keep the old unit. He explained that they have to ship the faulty unit back, and the manager said I'd have to pay full price for the other unit. Then wanted me to sign paperwork saying that he installed the unit and fixed what they said they would. I refused to sign cause they didn't. The paperwork he wanted me to sign had instructions to "Field Dispose" the old **, meaning that he was lying to me about needing the old unit. They already had the serial numbers from the original diagnoses so there is no reason that I needed to provide a unit that was being thrown in the trash. I need a credit for the new unit I purchased, or I need the ** delivered to me that is rightfully mine under Warranty.Business Response

April 15, 2022 we went to Camping World ************ to pick up a 2022 camper we were purchasing. When we arrived we were informed that the unit we were buying was damaged while on their lot. We agreed to purchase it with the agreement that Camping World had ordered replacement parts & would complete the repair. We also purchased protective coating at an additional charge that would be completed after repairs were made. After several attempts to find out the status of the replacement parts via phone we were informed the parts had been there for ******* **** scheduled for the initial repair to be made along with other repairs that we noticed once we were home with the camper. We were promised (I questioned at least 3 or 4 times about it) repairs could be made in one day & that we did not need to make 2 trips (1 to drop & 1 to pick up our camper-we live 2 hours from Camping World). When our camper was "ready" that afternoon only 1 repair had been made & the coating had not been completed. I have reached out several times via email & even more by phone to get a resolution of the issues with very little response & no answer on if or when repairs can be made. We are making payments on a unit we can not use & have had to cancel trips because of this. I understand these are warranty items as this is a brand new 2022 camper & that there is a process to have these items approved. However, we are 4 months out from the original repair (and 4 months into our 1 year warranty) & even that has not been resolved completely. I have attached the list sent to them via email & several phone calls as well as the email thread documenting my attempts to reach them. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me to the extent that we have made contact with Camping World-************ & do have an appointment. Camping World did NOT contact us we contacted them via a Good *** mobile service complaint. In my opinion Camping World has not done its due diligence to remedy issues & other buyers should be aware of their lack of communication & follow through as this seems to be a VERY frequent complaint.

Purchased a Keystone Premier, 8 months later the air conditioner went out. We took it to be fixed at Camping World. They managed to have it fixed within a few weeks. Went on a weekend trip worked great. 2 months after the air was replaced we arrived at the beach for our summer vacation and the air would not cool the camper once again. We had to pay a repair man to come out and see what was wrong with the air. Once again it needed to be replaced. I contacted ******** and they said that I would have to take it to be diagnosed and then send in a claim and they would replace it with the same GE air condition that was in it and already been replaced. I was 4 hours from home so that was not an option. I notified Camping World of ********* to let them know what was going on and was told they could not do anything to help me. I went over to the Camping World in ************ also to be told there was nothing they could do. I ended up having to spend $1,600 plus the fee for the repair man out of pocket to have my air condition replaced because I have small kids and animals that could not survive in 100 degree weather in a camper with no air. Now I have a GE air conditioner sitting on the back of my truck that I cannot use and I am out $1,600. I have contacted them for reimbursement but was denied.Initial Complaint

I contracted to buy an 2018 Winnebego View RV in "asis" condition which was represented in writing to include certain equipment and features that were important to me. Also my purchase included a full service, an orientation session on RVs in general, a full demonstration of all the features and equipment on the unit I was buying. When I showed up for my scheduled appointment and pickup at 10am on June 24th I was kept waiting for over an hour, there was not orientation and there was little to no demonstration as the person assigned to that task knew nothing about the unit, self confessed. I learned very little about the *** this person didn't even know where the fuel went in. Then I sat in finance for over two hours while the gentleman kept pushing add ons to my sale. I did agree to a service contract only to find out later that they don't do service at Camping World. When I left, finally, with the unit I was shocked to find the wheels horribly out of alignment at hwy speed - 65mph. My test drive excluded hwy segments, clearly the salesperson knew about this and kept me from finding out. They declined to provide history which I found out from ******** as common information on CarFax. I learned they did no service whatsoever but charged me $500.00 for 'full service' prior to pickup. The wheels where in such bad shape I was told by a reliable mechanic that I would surely experience a moving vehicle incident if I drove it any distance in that shape, I took care of the repairs. I have called over 35 times and email, including to the president of the corporation, over 20 and no response over 6 weeks. Help. Now I discover that they haven't processed the paper work bc they are 'out of compliance' with the bank and that the *** is invalid. A nightmare for me as a first time RV owner, a single senior female who was treated horribly by Camping World. We purchased a Playmaker Satellite Dish on August 11,2020, from Camping World in ******** *********. To put it bluntly, the satellite dish doesn't work. We took it back to the sales/service department on July 26,2020. They also requested that our RV be brought in so they could hook it up and test it. It was tested and they found an internal failure. The bill came to $167.75 for diagnostics tests. Our warranty is for 2 YEARS. They DID NOT HONOR THE WARRANTY ON THE SATELLITE THAT WE PURCHASED AT THERE STORE. NOR WOULD THEY GIVE US A REPLACEMENT UNIT. We believe that they did not open up the dish to look inside. So when we came to pick up the our RV, we could not just hook up our RV and go. They held our RV HOSTAGE UNTIL WE PAID OUR BILL. Mind you, the satellite dish is still under warranty, and they did not want to send it in. We did get the unrepaired satellite dish back. That was our responsibility to get a replacement unit. A Warranty is a Warranty - you honor it regardless - You eat the diagnostics tests because that is part of the WARRANTY. CW IS A MONEY HUNGER ORGANIZATION THAT LOVES TO SELL EXPENSIVE ITEMS, BUT NEVER STANDS BEHIND THERE PRODUCTS. WHY? WHY? RESOLUTION: We would like the $167.75 refunded to us. For an business that says they know everything about their products and warranty, they know NOTHING. ** told us that we needed to call Dish about the satellite - WRONG! We called Dish and they couldn't do anything for us, so I they called ******* (Manufacture) for warranty replacement. ******* was very helpful. So, the point is CW should not give out FALSE INFORMATION TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. They just wanted us to go away. We will NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN SHOP AT THIER STORE NOR NEVER BUY OR SERVICE AN RV FROM THEM. WE ARE DONE! DONE!Business Response

I purchased a 2014 Camper on April 29, 2022 for $18,499.00 at which time I put down $4,625 leaving the purchase price at $15,285.26. I was advised that I could not use my own bank to secure a loan at a lower interest rate because I was informed by their Finance person that he would receive a kickback from the bank if I went through them. In fact, he really gave me no choice and asked for a deposit which I paid as noted above. I immediately wrote a check to secure the camper. There were so many things that went wrong with the purchase but the following issue is what I need resolved and my attempts to do this have been in vain. The finance person had me signed paperwork which sold me *************** Contract for $2,980 plus the ************ Protection at $860 so an additional $3,840.00 was added to my loan, which I didnt understand or want. He presented this information in a way that it would going to add only a few dollars per month to my loan, but what I didnt realize then was that the loan was going to be for 15 years so obviously the amount looked small which in fact it was not. Once I reviewed everything when I got home, I tried to reach him immediately to ask for cancellation paperwork for the warranties. Following multple emails back and forth and getting corporate involved, I was finally sent the cancellation paperwork and was advised that this was taken care of with the bank. This occured on 6/14/2022. As of today - nothing has happened and when I checked my bank statement the additional $3,840.00 was still on the loan.Business Response

I purchased a toy hauler from them with the intent that they would fix all of the problems that were there upon buying it Ive dropped it off several times and none of the repairs have been made I get no communication from them I filed a complaint with their corporate office and they were no help as well I have a case number with the corporate office. I leave voicemails no one returns my calls I have still yet to receive a work order on my trailer. Ive had my trailer for an entire year and everything is still broken on it. I have several emails to proof they do not response back for several weeks at a time I have to keep calling or sending multiple emails before I get a response.
