On December 4th, we took our trailer to Camping World in ****, where we purchased it from, for service on several issues. They informed us it would take 3 to 4 weeks to be able to look at it. After being there for 1 month, I began trying to obtain a status update. I left several messages for service with their receptionist, who assured me each time she was passing the message onto service. I never received a call back from service after trying for over a week. I then reached out again and this time asked who I might be able to speak with since service is never available and doesn't return my calls. The receptionist said she would inform the manager, ****, who I began leaving messages for. After 3 attempts to reach **** with no success of speaking with her or having her return my calls, I informed the receptionist that if no one would return my calls, I would be filling a complaint. The next day, **** finally called me back to say she needed to look into where service was with our trailer. She called back to say they were getting it looked at now and she would call me back with an update. I had to call again but **** followed up later that day to explain most of the issues were not true issues they could work on. I explained that one of the issues was the door jam falling on my mother in laws head and she said they would look at it again. She said she would also reach out to the vendor on another issue and she would update me. I have tried several times over 2 weeks now to receive an update and once again not receiving any call backs from ****, which is what prompted me to file this complaint.Business Response

Reject Business Response. We went to pick up our trailer but they informed us they damaged our trailer while parked in their lot and needed to order parts to fix it. They also told us after obtaining more information about one of the issues we brought it in for, they were not sure that issue was properly investigated and would work on that. I've tried to obtain updates on when this would be fixed with no luck.

C/W of dover installed the Convection Microwave oven into my RV, they did not install the 2 filters or glass tray that are suppose to come with it, the 2 screws' that mount the oven in the top were screwed in crooked and are stripped and they refused to fix it, i cannot use the microwave at all. this does not include all the other factory defects that they wont fix, i just want them to pay C/W of ***********/Ocala to come to my house (cause i cant move my RV) to repair/replace the microwave that they installed improperly with the missing parts or them to come to my house to fix it themselves like they came to my house to replace my couch. never been treated like c*** like this before.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: it don't matter what type of unit comes with the toppers or not, i was promised the toppers would be on this unit as i told ***** ****** and the Managers at the Dover C/W. they just don't want to stand being their word and install the toppers on my unit, its a simple thing, stand behind your word, be honest. the salesman promised and so did the finance officer. that's the first thing, the 2nd thing is they have not installed or repaired the convection oven yet so for that i will not accept this BBB complaint offer either. Its is still missing all the parts inside the unit, the 2 screw's that hold the top are still crooked and probably stripped and its still missing the filters. thank you very much,

I have an insurance claim and I called Camping World of ************ to have their mobile service come out and give an insurance estimate for some damage to my RV. The estimate was scheduled, something came up so I had to reschedule. I called to cancel and they told me to call back when we needed them. Several weeks went by and I called back to have their mobile guy come out and give us the estimate. Thats when I started getting the runaround. I spoke the ** *****. ***** said he wouldnt be able to have anyone come out until Feb. 2025. I said that would be fine. Then ***** **** peddled and told me to ask the insurance adjuster to come out and give us an estimate (why would he do that? that is going to cost Camping World tens of thousands of dollars of business). I took his suggestion and called our insurance company to request an adjuster and was denied. I called ***** **** to request mobile service and now ***** lied to us and declined to help us with our claim. I have also spoken with someone at corporate that was completely useless and would not do their job. Would also like to warn people nationwide of Camping Worlds employees lack of integrity and horrible service.Business Response

On July 12th 2024, we picked up a new 2023 Montana 5th wheel camper from Camping World in *********, **. We had multiple issues with the finance manager on this date which was eventually resolved. During the walk through it was discovered the radio did not work. A new one was mailed to us. Upon arrival at home, a window shade had broken during transit by coming apart. I was able to fix the shade or so I thought. We then traveled to a camping location and the same shade had come apart again. I called Camping World on 10/30/24 and left a voicemail for Korrena. After no return call I called camping world again on 11/7/24 and spoke with ******* ***** who stated she needed a number off the shade to be able to order a replacement. She nor her service tech who she called into the office could tell me how to remove the shade in order to find the number. (For future reference, you push up on the black tabs and then while up, slide them toward the wall. This opens the bracket allowing the shade assembly to come out). It took me several weeks from trial and error and online videos to figure out how to remove the shade without breaking it. Once I got the shade out on 11/22/25 and gave ******* the number on the shade she stated this was not the correct number (this was the only number on the shade) and she needed the measurements. She would use the measurements to order a replacement shade. On 12/13/25 I supplied the measurements. During this time, I have emailed, called, and on 11/25/24 filed a complaint with the corporate office in ********. Also during this time, the main television stopped working. On 11/7/24 I sent the required and requested documentation and information to Korrena. I have also complained about the length of the power cord to the 5th wheel camper. This is a 41 unit. 3 times since traveling with this unit we have been required to move due to the cord not being long enough to reach the meter.Business Response

I purchased a C Class Four Winds, 2020 RV. Here are the issues I am complaining about and would like fixed:1. I was charged $91,500 for this RV. As soon as I drive it off the lot the price went down to $51,500. I know because I took it to another Camping World near my home and was told the price of $51,500. This was 2 weeks after I purchased the RV.2. When I purchased this RV I was told it was a 2020. Picked up on 8-24-24 Paid - $3,328.76 We had dropped our camper off in May 24, for a new roof to be installed due to a small tree falling on the back of it, and to have an additional AC unit added. Upon pickup/inspection, it seemed as though the roof was fixed and replaced. I only use my camper for work, and did not go on call until 12-29-24. The first night of being in the camper it came a storm with heavy rain, the exhaust vent for the bathroom was pouring water all in the bathroom. The next day I got on top of the camper to inspect the vent, and noticed there was a gap in the frame of the exhaust vent. I also noticed that the slide weather seals werent replaced like I had asked, and it looked as though the whole roof had not been replaced and it also looked like they had not cleaned the debris off the roof before putting the new rubber down. I also noticed that my gutters were broke, and there were more holes not filled with self leveling caulk. They turned the claim in on insurance for the roof, but the whole thing looked like it came off a used camper!! I called on 12-30-24, and was told to TARP it. I have been promised call backs multiple times and they call back 1-2 weeks later with no resolution. I have pictures of all the roof but it isnt allowing me to upload them.Business Response

On January 27th I answered a ******** Market Place ad from Camping World and their sales rep ******* ***** for a 2024 **** Freedom Elite31 FE ***************** with listed price of $59,999. She set up a time for me to see the ** on Tuesday, January 28th. A lady from Camping World called me to set up the time and confirm the appointment. I went onto the Camping World web site and asked her if she could verify the price since the Market Place ad and their website were different. She assured me that at the end of the month the managers would drastically reduce prices to get sales. The appointment was set for 2 pm on Tuesday. Shortly after I received a ******** message from *******, "I'm so sorry I had the incorrect price listed for this camper. I had listed about 20 in a row and entered the incorrect price. Are you still interested in coming to see it? Again i'm so sorry!!"I told her she needed to honor the advertised price that this was Bait and Switch.I contacted the store and spoke to the sales manager, ********** ****** and discussed what happened. He asked me to send screen shots of our conversations by email.
