      I purchased a brand new camper in September of 2022 at Camping World in ***************** live in until we got established in ********During Hurricane ****** it sustained damages. In July it was taken to Camping World for repairs. so we purchased a shed to live in until the camper was finished which was an additional ****** not including the cost of materials for making it ************ it is May and my camper still isn't fully repaired.They told me it was ready to go!My husband picked up the camper and several parts are missing that they have yet to find. there's also new damage to it. I owe a little over ****** make my payments on time pay the insurance on it yet I'm still unable to utilize it. I've called, emailed corporate, went in person to try to get these issues resolved.Nothing!They were supposed to call me the 3rd week of April. when they said the parts would be in. I have heard nothing. I call and all I get is a run around.I'm beyond frustrated and need advice because Idon't know what else to do!? This company needs to be held accountable for their negligence! It's been almost a year.I've contacted numerous lawyers and have gotten No help.Please any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and help,**** ******

      We purchased a used 2017 Cross roads Zinger camper from Camping world at ******* in ***********, ******. We were showed the camper by ******, the salesman. We were told that the camper would be cleaned and everything would be tested. Neither happened. We communicated with the General Manager and came to a resolution of a $500 gift card. This was prior to us actually getting to use the camper. Upon using the camper for the for the first time, we discovered some issues with the camper that would have been discovered had they actually done their job and did the complete inspection of the camper. The first issue we discovered was that the bathroom faucet leaks. We discovered that when we found water leaking under the camper from the bathroom area. The second issue we found was that the Electric side of the Hot Water Heater does not heat up. This would have also been discovered had they actually tested it. The third issue is with the Battery that they "Replaced" on the camper. The battery they installed does not maintain a charge. We used the battery for raing the tongue **** and lowering it. We parked the camper for 4 days and went to extend the Slide out and the battery was dead. We charged the battery on my trikle charger for over 24 hours and it only went to 90%. Camping World did resolve the first issues, and based upon other customers experiences, we have decided to take the additional issues here. We realize we purchased a used unit. However, the Salesman stated to us things that never happened and we don't see any other resolution. We did purchase a warranty, but have been told that the warranty won't cover the issues and that if they did, we would have to pay upfront and then get reimbursed. Again, these are issues that should have been addressed before the camper ever left the lot.

      We bought a 2022 ***************** 229RK Camping World in *****************. We came in around noon time and spent the rest of the day there waiting for them to prep our new RV while they inspected our trade in. Finally at around 3:30 **** finished with his inspection of our trade in and we went over some issues he found. We agreed to either add another $1,000 dollars to our loan or pay another $1,000 down, but we asked to see what the payments and interest would be for each example. Around 4:00 we went into ******* ****** office the Sales/Finance Manager. He never gave us the options that we asked to see. He went right to the sales mode and he was determine to sale us: Platinum, or Gold, or Silver and or Bronze. We said we weren't interested but he didn't want to hear that, so he started saying how anyone with smarts would see the value in choosing one. We didn't want it, but he would not listen. We just want to sign paper work and go home that was two hours away. We thought we were financing through ******** where I had my other RV finance through, but somehow we ended up with *******************. ******* keep hammering us how we weren't very bright if we didn't select one of these extra add on. Finally he narrow it down saying we have to take the **** My wife got very angry and left. He then told me if we didn't accept the *** he would have to spend another 30 min or so redoing paper work and going through another bank. We were force to take the *** in order to leave and not have to wait any longer. So we ended up with something we didn't want, we ended up with a higher interest rate and a higher payment. We were not giving the opportunity to see what the extra $1,000 added to the loan look like or put another $1000 dollar down. ******* forced us to do something we didn't want and robbed us of making the choice we wanted instead he just added the $1000 into the loan and proceeded to force us to purchase the add on.

      I am rejecting this response because:  this whole situation is unethical and the way we were treated by ******* ******. He was very rude in belittling us because we didn't want any of the options; insinuating that we weren't very smart by declining these options. All we wanted was for him to show us the different scenarios regarding the $1,000 down payment so that we can make are own decision (the customer) (since we are all forgetting who the customer is) but he decided to make that decision for us which cost us more money than we were willing to pay. Plus pushing us for options that we didn't want from the beginning. It took us a total (including travel time) 9 hours to go through the unbearable process.We were tired and exhausted and we felt ******* took advantage of ***** ******* said we had to except the Gap or he would have to start all over and get new financing, redo all the paperwork (which would have taken another 45 minutes to an hour to complete). By this time his pressuring caused us mental distress and now we want to be compensated for his unprofessional business structure. We are an elderly couple who are on a strict budget and by not giving us the options, put us in a situation that will take away from our necessities. In general, we were taken advantage of due to our age, treated with disrespect and showing us no regard to financial options. In my opinion, it doesn't matter what the financial differences were it's the fact that we were not given an opportunity to choose which is our legal and moral right. If we cannot come to an agreement to a compensated matter, we will have no choice but to seek legal counsel.

      I bought an extended warranty for the 5th wheel camper I purchased on 08/24/24. At the time of the purchase, it was explained that I could take the camper to any repair facility, it would be a $100 deductible rather than $50 to use Camping World for repairs. I now need repairs to the awning motor and the local repair facility (not camping world) does not work with extended warranties due to the number of "hoops" that need to be jumped through for payment. I called Assurant which is the issuer of the warranty, and they advised all work must be approved by them before any payments will be made. I only bought the warranty because I was told I could use any repair facility. Nothing was mentioned that all work needed approval prior to completion. I have called Camping World Apollo 3 times in 2 weeks and have had to leave a message for a return call. No one has contacted me regarding my cancellation request of the extended warranty. Assurant advised the cancellation request must come from Camping World directly.

      dropped off my rig for warranty work, took 2 months. talk to the ** *****, he wouldn't even talk to me at all (cause it was FRIDAY) unless i made an appointment, i almost yelled at him cause you have had my rig for 2 months and you have done nothing, he threated me saying "with that attitude i will have your rig towed to the front and you can get out of here" today is Friday i don't have time for you, make an appointment for next week and he walked away. no professionalism at all. ******** came and helped me, said she would have my rig ready for me next Tuesday for me to pick it up, i also said what about you guys buying my rig, what a mistake, Monday i went in, talked to **** he offered me 46k. that's it, he also said i would lose all factory warranty and all service connected warranty etc., if i sold it to anybody but them, he also said that they are the ******* of the ** world and that *** (ME) you can't hurt us, like wow, i said i would talked to my wife, i left, Tuesday i came to pick up my unfinished rig, remember, they never replaced my microwave, never fixed the bent chrome in the bedroom slide, i can not use this rig, if it leaks air through the bedroom slide, then it will leak water/rain i have to keep it covered right? cant be on the road in the rain or anything. thank you camping world, i inspected their work on other things that they did, shelves in the bedroom, the man had to redo the screws, they put them upside down so we would stab ourselves, they couldn't put the microwave back in correctly, when the fan is on, it still blows air out the front on the left side. final thought, you couldn't fix my rig in 2 months, your ** ***** didn't have the time (10 MINUTES) to talk to an upset customer, *** claims that your guys are the ******* of the ** industry and can't be hurt by little O me, well you can, I AM NO LONGER A CAMPING WOULD CUSTOMER. got me a class A ********* so i can travel this summer

      I am rejecting this response because: i forget who called me from camping world. i didn't have the time to talk to her. i was at *** getting registration, all she did was make excuses on why my unit was there for 2 and half months and not getting fixed, it normally only takes a few days to get warranty things approved not months.  i still want my unit fixed if i don't sell it when i get back to ******* this fall...., i still want an apology from the ** of camping world of Ocala for treating me so bad. read my complaint. you have still lost a customer and have done nothing to get me back. so sad.

      On 5/9/25 I Signed a purchase contract with 500$ down, and no secured financing for a week and no financial forms had been signed confirming who was financing. I Canceled camper purchase via email contact with financing manger asked if anything needed to be done and if refund of downpayment possible. Told yes we can do that come in to complete forms. ****** is new direct from factory and never left the facility. Went in met with location manager, was ridiculed and told Im crazy to think refund is possible. I stated I was not informed there would not be a refund due to costs incurred prepping new camper direct from factory. There is no physical proof of that being done in camper. Was given copy of first page of purchase contract to review. Went to car to review, and left to compare with documents at home. When reviewing noted the 2 business day clause, which states contract voided if financing not secured and sale voided. I did state that I was not told there would be no refund and had I known I wouldnt have come in. Reached out to financing manger who I was working with to question why I was told to come in and not informed about no refund. I did also explain that no one was aware of our conversations via email, and that I was told he should have made it clear to me that due to cost incurred prepping camper no refund would be given. I mentioned my concerns, that no financing was secured when singing purchase contract and that that a week later 5/15/25 I was still having credit pulled and message from salesman to go over options for camper. I received response from higher level management saying I took an item not belonging to myself and if I returned it arrangements could be made regarding refund. I clarified that when leaving store I took copy I was given of purchase contract. I was informed that the copy of my contract was company property and had to be returned. I believe that all other documents destroyed and my copy is all that remains.

                    Camping World RV Sales, LLC (CWRV Sales) is in receipt of the above-referenced consumer complaint (the Complaint) recently filed with your office. We take all consumer issues very seriously and appreciate your office bringing this matter to our attention.    
                    CWRV Sales confirms we spoke to ****************** has agreed to come out on a mobile repair visit to resolve water leaks present. Additionally, they will partially refund charges related to purchase. To this end we consider this matter closed.
                    Nothing in this correspondence shall be construed as an admission of fault or liability with any issues raised in the Complaint or statements made by ****** ******.

      I don't have the exact date of when this started but it all started last year when I picked up my new travel trailer from them having work done to it. And at the time of pickup my battery system was not working correctly I brought my attention to it to them. And they said everything was fine but after hours of troubleshooting with master technician he concluded my batteries were no good. I have been fighting with them for a year if not longer to get my battery issue fixed. I never had any battery issue before I took it to them. ****************** didn't document anything about the battery issue, after going to them 2 more times and it still sits there now. No resolve on issue I contacted the battery manufacturer and he stated that if my battery disconnect switch was turned off for a long period of time and my lithium batteries drained down and not brought up to charge within 24 hours or voids my warranty so their process of turning off my disconnect drained my batteries and ruined my warranty the batteries are 1k a piece before taxes and there's 2 of them. I have told them since day one that they were lithium and I had issues since being with them. They didn't document anything so now I'm really on their **** to make this right and service says they don't have any documentation that I told them this. So they said they're not liable for maintainence of the batteries when sitting at their location and they say they didn't know they were lithium so therefore they didn't maintain them correctly and voided my warranty. But how am I supposed to maintain a unit that sits in a high fence with barbed wire locked up. We have been fighting for long time on the matter. They recently started emailing me and the first things they say is you never said you had battery issues when I first brought it there they didn't know they were lithium and playing dumb the whole time so their no liable. I have told them all the details and complained from day one. I need some help. Thank you
