      The company told me they would originally pay me $10,000.00 for my camper based on over 20 pictures and a video, then increased the offer, and drove to my home to pick the unit up over two hours, then told me to come pick up the check in ************Ive got all of this on text.Once got there, they thought I was basically trapped, and said theyd only give me $************* scam artist.Thats why they have an F rating on every one of their complaints.

      November of 2024, we purchased new 2025 forest river destination trailer. During that time, we asked Camping World to hold out trailer and deliver it February 2025 when the weather is not as cold. Prior to the delivery, camping world set up a "WALK through" appointment so that we can go over the trailer to make sure everything is working. However, during that inspection Camping World did NOT connect the water because the weather was still cold and they stated nothing would be wrong with the water since it's a BRAND-NEW TRAILER.Trailor was delivered on February 28, 2025. As I started to run the water, I noticed that the HOT water heater was not working. I called camping world and advised them about this problem, and they directed me to deal with the Good *** warranty, we called them, and they stated that this issue was still Manufactor warranty. I called Camping World to complaint about this issue again, as this problem pre-excited prior to delivery. Camping World also charged me for delivery and set up. Delivery charge I have no problem with; however, they never set up my trailer, I had to pay someone to set up our trailer. Dealing with Camping World to this date has been a huge headache and we get no answers to resolve my issue. I've had to pay OUT OF POCKET for someone to go look at our issue and they stated that parts are ********* this date, we have a 2025 brand new trailer with NO HOT WATER heater working.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      This unit should have NEVER been delivered with the water heater not working properly.  Camping world DID NOT bother to send any one to our campground to look at the unit and when I called Bradiwood - Camping World to inform them of the issue with the water heater, their tech guy sends me ******* videos to troubleshoot the issue.   Again, as a customer this is very frustrating because we expected everything to work since it's a NEW UNIT.   

      To this date we had to hire two (local) companies to try to repair the water heater issue.  The first company came and replaced control panel thinking that was the issue and it still didn't fix the problem which costs us $150.  Now, the second company (who is dealing with the manufacture) now tells me that the MOTHER BOARD is fired and needs to be replaced and is waiting for the approval from the manufacture.  

      Again, this is a BRAND-NEW UNIT that should have NEVER left Camping World with this type of issue, and again we were wrongly informed when we did the WALK THROUGH that everything was working properly.  

      I also mentioned to CORP. office that my screen door is not working either and she advised me to add it to the manufacture claim.  Camping World at this point doesn't want to deal with customers and just pushing everything to the manufacture.  When we were purchasing the unit, the sale personal (*****) told us that "IF WE HAD ANY PROBLEMS, THE WOULD SEND A MOBILE TECT"

      CAMPING WOLRD to this DATE has not complied with any type of solution.

      Camping World wants us to take our camper for service.  However, WE told them from the beginning that our camper would be stationed in a campground and again WE were told that if that was the case that they have mobile tech services.  

      AGAIN, there is NOOO reason for us to be going through this with a BRAND-NEW UNIT that should have NEVER left the shop.  At the time of purchase the sale **** made all these promises and telling us that Camping World in ********* was under new management and here we are again getting the run around as to not helping us with this issue.

      I am complaining because a finance officer named ***** who work at Camping World in *******. He failed to send in two insurance policy on a camper that I purchased last year. I signed paper cancellation on 03/23, and again on 03/24. I was told that it would take four to six the cancellation would be applied on the loan on the camper. I called the business because I found out through the finance company they have not received the money. I called the business again and spoke to a finance manager named ******. He told me that ***** did not file that paper work. At this point I have not receive anything. That money has to go to that loan. I need that money to go to that loan.

      We were going to try and buy a camper. Camping world had us come in and pay a $2200 refundable deposit and sign the paperwork for the camper saying that we had a loan, and asked if we wanted to take the camper at that time. We asked if we could pick the camper up the following week because we had not where to park it yet, the next week the day before we were supposed to pick up the camper, Camping world finance department called and told us that they could not secure a loan for the camper so we did not in fact buy the camper. I asked about our deposit and the manager said he would have to look into that. I asked what he meant by that because it was a refundable deposit and we didnt have a loan so we didnt buy the camper. He said yeah but we might have done some work on it. I explained we were buying it as is. And he said if they did any work that might affect how much if our deposit we would get back. We were never told that and never bought the camper saying, and they wont answer any if my calls or emails, and will not give me my deposit back.

They were the ones who were not able to secure a loan so we could purchase the camper. So we are at no fault yet they have not refunded our deposit even though we received no merchandise.       Me and my Partner recently bought a camper from this retailer in July of last year. Our salesperson assured that a few minor issues we noticed when we bought it would be fix before delivery. Our new travel trailer was delivered about a week or so later and the things we had discussed were not worked on or fixed. We were able to communicate with Camping World, but little was done and with us living 2 hours away it didn't seem worth the time and gas to take it all the way back for minor inconveniences. My partner had a more extensive conversation with our salesperson who had given us his contact information and the best they offered us was a 100-dollar gift card after we had explained that we had spent more than that for the repairs ourselves and just wanted a reimbursement. Camping world did not contact us back. In the beginning of March, we experienced electrical issues and had completed lost power. The department was able to gets in on March 22nd to drop off our camper to be serviced. My partner had taken it up there to drop off and informed the service professional that we had multiple issues including the converter no longer working, the power source plug being burned, and other problems that were then not properly documented. Camping world held out property for almost two months and I on multiple attempts after receiving no calls tried to reach out for information. I was never able to get ahold of anyone. The handful of time I managed to get ahold of someone, I was directed to leave a message, but no one would call me back. After multiple weeks with no update, I filed a complaint with Camping world ************* representative. A case manager reached out to me and within 24 hours of filing a complaint, I received a call from our Service Advocate named *****. Within a day of that interaction I spoke with the General Manager named ***** who after explaining the situation stated they had "dropped the ball". we picked up our camper and it was not repaired entirely

      I requested cancelation of my RV Warranty 4 months ago and have not received any contact back, I called every Monday dating back 4 months. I called the **************** (Good ***) and they have contacted the dealership themselves to notify them of the cancelation. I'm still waiting for them to contact me for the next step of the cancelation (which should be the dealership sending me my refund).

      We initially brought our camper to Camping World on February 14th for the repair of the refrigerator, which was the only issue at that time. Although we were informed that the repair would take a few weeks, it has now been several months, and our camper remains at their facility.Prior to bringing the camper in for service, we thoroughly inspected it to ensure it was in excellent condition, as we intended to sell it back to you. Both the water pump and radio were functioning properly, and the roof was in good condition, having been stored at our residence away from any trees.On April 18th, we received the Sellers Appraisal Certificate, which we completed, signed, and returned on April 23rd. However, on May 1st, Camping World-Mark informed us of a tear in the roof causing a basketball-sized soft spot, with an estimated repair cost of $9,500. **** also mentioned that this would reduce the offer to half.I spoke with the **-*** and advised that it seems quite concerning that the only issue identified with the ** at the time of our initial discussions was the ****************, after the ** has been in their possession since February 14th and during the process of appraising it for a potential buyback, they've identified additional issues including a malfunctioning water pump, a non-working radio, and roof damage. None of these issues were present when we dropped the ** off for service.Given this, we were surprised to receive a revised offer of half of the original offer.During our phone conversation on May 3rd @ 11:18a.m. *** mentioned that a soft spot in the roof could take several months to become noticeable. Coincidentally, that timeframe aligns closely with the duration the ** has been in their possession.Lastly, we have been asking them to protect the ** from further damage, as the ** is still in their possession and we have yet to receive confirmation they are mitigating the damages and what steps are being taken to mitigate the damages.

      After purchasing a trailer, a trailer flooded the trailer has been at camping Road for three months when we went down there to go and evaluate and see where they were at with the progress they had wrecked our trailer. There is a hole in the side of it, and the problem is still resolved. We requested a new trailer. They had us pick one out and then attempted to tell us that it could not be completed they needed another week and they needed to talk to finance instead of making things right they are giving us the runaround and we have been out of trailer. We keep making payments on the trailer and we do not have the trailer.

      the trailer has significant issues that are impair the use of the trailer. 

      despite my reasonable expectations of receiving a functional reliable product, I have experienced nothing but the run around. Our unit has been there for a few months now after the leaking from the solar, when we went to Camping world to check on the progress of the unit, it was then noticed that the trailer had been damaged, on there lot, we then were advised " well this happens when there are multiple trailers" the managers were also unaware of the damage as well. 

      these defects have rendered the camper unfit for use and have considerable inconvenience and financial loss. we have made good- faith efforts to address these problems, but the extent of the issues suggests that the product was either defective at the time of sale or not properly inspected. I there for requested a full replacement of the trailer as to which they got one delivered to there lot which also was worn and torn on the outside. they need to make this right for equal or greater value and a unit that is in good working condition. within a reasonable time frame. we have waited months now. I expect this business to honor its responsibility under applicable consumer protection laws. if we cannot do not have a new unit by Tuesday if we are unable to reach this resolution in this time frame i will be forced to explore other remedies including contacting consumer protection agencies and seeking legal counsel.

      Bought a travel camper from ********** in August of 2023. Purchased an extended five year platinum warranty. *********** handled financing, ********** handled the lien insurance and ****************** of the South handled the warranty insurance. After contacting the warranty insurance company may of 2025, I was told the paper work was filled by they never received a check, so the policy was canceled. ********** has sold to Camping World, in 2023. Camping World denies any liability and TravelCamp has disappeared. So who is liable?

CWRV Sales does not have access to any documents or purchase agreements from previous sales.       I am rejecting this response because: Upon verbal and paper review of the response from all Six businesses; TravelCamp,************, Camping World,Truist Bank, Tri County Insurance and ****************** of the South, only one could actually show me paper proof of no liability! That was Tri County Insurance. Sadly todays American dream business world has turned into pass the blame save the buck *********** The customer has become a victim of a lawyer run world where only deep pockets survive. So in response to the email; no Im not satisfied with all or each pass the blame parties (run around)!someone is responsible if not all! And no the problem isnt resolved or settled! And no Im not being selfish about being taken advantage of. And no the problem isnt me its todays business world. So if todays business world is ran on what has just happened, who wants a business? Thats an easy question, everyone! Its good for businesses to rip off customers and nobody is responsible!

      We bought our camper at ********************* Camping World in 2021. We also bought the extended warranty, $3500. We took the camper to have a few things fixed on January 6 2025. We know this usually takes a few week so we were prepared not to have it the month of January. The service tech said I will be in touch! January rolls by, not one word from them. After 6 weeks I called and was told they were waiting on pricing for parts. Two more weeks go by and I call AGAIN and was told the same thing. Since i was getting nowhere with the service department I went to the General Manager, ***** ***** for an explanation. They have had our camper for two months now. He was very helpful and we were moving in the right direction. He asked for some more time and assured us he was going to take care of this. Another month goes by and I call to see when we can pick up our camper and they are waiting on a part that I was told would be there by April 15th and it would be a quick install. So when I called the week of April 22 still no part and they didnt have a tracking number. I again got ***** ***** involved and he got me the tracking number so we could see when we would get the camper back. We were called on Thursday May 1 letting us know it was ready an we spoke to **** *****. We were out of town and called to let them know we would pick it up Wednesday May 7th but it would be after hours so please leave it for us. I paid the bill and signed the extended warranty papers. I have attached the photos of the condition our camper was left to us in. The electric **** would not work (worked when we dropped it off) and it took two hours to get the **** off so we could pull it home! Cigarette laying on the counter -we don't smoke- , trash from the install , even left the old radio for us to dispose of on my couch. The propane tank holder is missing the top and has a random sticker on it? Paint can lid on the bumper, glue on the shower floor . In all they had it 4 months!

      I am rejecting this response because:  We are NOT satisfied with the result yet.  We took the camper to another Camping World( Stateville branch) ,at the request of ***** *****,   because after the repairs were made the camper leaked so badly after a rain the carpet was soaked!  We also found more damage,  a nail was sticking out of the camper where one of the "repairs" was done.  They have been in touch and are addressing the issues but we do not have the camper back in our possession and will not close this matter until we can inspect the camper.
