We purchased a brand new 2020 Jayco trailer from Camping World. 1 year after purchasing it, our refrigerator stopped working, and there was a recall on our LP regulator. We took the trailer to the service department to fix these issues as they were under warranty, and a recall. It took them 4 months of keeping our trailer, and multiple calls from myself and my husband to even get status updates about progress. Finally after 3 motherborads failed, they got the green light to replace the whole fridge. We were told this had been completed, and when we called to pick up, they told us this had actually not been completed as the first fridge was damaged in shipping, but in the meantime the backordered LP regulator had come in and this had been replaced. 2 weeks later we called to pick up our trailer. About 2-4 weeks after having our trailer back, with above issues being fixed, they called us to tell us that our propane regulator had come in and was ready to be installed. You can imagine my frustration at this point as we had been told this had been replaced with the fridge. I had to physically go take a pic of the regulator on our trailer and text it to someone to actually prove this had in fact been done. Fast forward to the present. We had to take it back because the fridge has not worked on LP SINCE they replaced it, and our furnace (LP) is not working correctly since they last had it for regulator issues. They are now telling me that they have zero record of ever replacing our fridge, and telling us we are unable to pick up our trailer without paying $500 bucks. These are the exact same issues we had last year that were obviously never fixed, or we wouldn't be here again. ALL of which are under warranty or a recall. Their lack of record keeping is now prohibiting us from picking up our BRAND NEW $40k trailer without payment for services that should be covered. WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN!!!!! We purchased an Class A RV July of 2021 from Gander RV.In the time we have owned it we have been able to utilize it 3 months. We have been getting the run around with dealing with Gander RV for repairs. I would like to open a case with them and submit paperwork like emails and texts once the case has been opened. The lack of customer service and their knowledge is beyond belief. Bought 2020 Artic Wolf 291RL in January. Undisclosed damage to camper. Leveling system not working.Out of 10 months owning the camper it has been in the shop 6 of those months.They have had it this time since July 7.Also every time they have it for repairs they do more damage. i purchased a camper from this company and it was nothing but trouble sense the day they had it delivered to me. they have lied to me sense day 1. i have had so much trouble with this camper when i got this camper it was missing and ac unit which i told them to not deliver it til it gets fixed and they did anyway. now sense i have had it the first week it has leaked in the main bedroom constantly there is a tote in there to catch the water in daily. there were supposed to be 3 ac units and there were only 2 and 1 of them did not work. the ac leaks at least a 5 gallon tote of water daily. the rear back deck gate is falling apart the screws are coming out. there is a leak in the 2nd bathroom that leaks in the living room. 2nd bathroom sink leaks. 2nd bathroom molding is coming off and the floor is coming up. the kitchen cabinet door fell off. septic tank was full of sewage water. there were ants all in the kitchen. both sets of the steps are bent. the front door will not close right it is also warped has a gap in the bottom right side. front door floor is coming up. dishwasher does not work. main bathroom wall is separating . the slide in the living room does not close all the way. the ladder outside came off. i contacted them and they told me to contact good *** that i have coverage with and let them fix it if i'm not mistaken that is insurance fraud. i have contacted camping world talked to several different people and nothing has been done. had to cut the under neath to get all the water out from in the insulation. water still leaks daily out from under neath camper. i have pictures and video i can send to you later. they are suppose to send me a check for over charges and i have never received it.Customer Answer

Hello. Recently I purchased a used camper from camping world. $78,000.00 including all warranties. Needless to say I have had multiple issues with it. I bought all extended warranties but cant get in touch with service department. I call tech support and they dont have record of my membership. I paid alot of money for a lemon. I have a complaint into the corporate headquarters but not getting anywhere. It leaks when it rains, the heater does not work, hot water heater does not work, completely rusted out on the bottom. The tires needed to be replaced before I drove it 2,0000 miles across country. In todays market there are alot of people still buying campers. People should know how horrible the service or lack there of is at camping world. We bought a 2017 Freedom Elite 30FE in August. We stayed one night and was headed back to Ga. We were not even 50 miles from camping world and it broke down requiring a tow back. They delivered it to us in Ga on September 21. We decided to take our First trip on October 8. When we hooked into shore power there was smoke coming from the *** We immediately turned the breaker off and found burning wires. After calling Good *** and a mobile mechanic he was kind enough to walk us through the problem so we could enjoy the rest of our weekend. We called **** at Camping world and explained the problem and he gave us a number to Good ***. On Oct 15 we decided to take another weekend trip. This time we encountered a water leak. The mobile mechanic came out and diagnosed another Major Problem. We just took our unit to another camping World that can not even look at the ** until Nov 14. I am very disappointed in our purchase and would encourage anyone that buys from camping world to get an independent inspection done. I would also encourage you to find another warranty because Good *** has been less than helpful. I am rejecting this response because:Were told the unit was a DIY for cosmetics but the unit itself had been inspected and we were assured that it was all cosmetic repairs such as outside awning, vinyl on inside seats and some flooring strips. We were told multiple times that the unit itself was throughly inspected for mechanical, electrical and plumbing (water) was all in good working condition. As you can see from the pictures of the burnt wires and water leak thats not the case. We are simply asking for you to buy this unit back. The unit is currently in the shop at Camping World Woodstock waiting to get the water repair done. We paid around $60,000 for a unit that has been in our possession less time then it has been in the shop for repairs. We are willing to take the $5000 down payment loss but do not find it right to have bought something with trust and confidence that has been in the shop so much.

If I could put 0, I would. We bought a camper in May 2022. Our third trip out, it broke down - the slide out stopped working. Slide out had a recall on it and Camping World sold it to us with the active recall. We tried to get a hold of Camping World to get it repaired but never could - nobody answered the phones. We ended up taking it to a local mechanic, who informed us of the recall and that it was a well known issue. Well, our camper ended up being stolen (which, if CW had answered their phones and had fixed the recall prior to purchase, it would have never been stolen) and now were needing to cancel a bunch of Good *** nonsense they swindled us for. I had to go to social media to get the finance guy at CW to even ************ Its been over a month, we still havent received a refund and hes not answering our emails. Were still sitting on a loan that should be paid off with these items. Infuriated doesnt even begin to describe it. This situation could have been avoided if they had fixed the recall prior to purchase. We will never go there again.Business Response

I reported her to ***** and the main Headquarter ***************** who is one of the finance guys here, for weeks, told us not to worry we had a different ** and told my husband he was full of sh**.****, the store manager, not once did meet us, even after we reported *************** husband still trusted them and loved the 5th-wheel Cougar. We had options, we were far from smart.**** the big boss only talked on the phone, was not a nice person, had a bad temper, does not care, he was made to call, I reported the happenings to ********************* knows the ** roof is bad, I called Keystone yesterday, and they made note of it,The lady stated until it is written up by them which **** can do, it's leaking, and the paperwork is filled out they can't fix it, they do not want to mess with it, which would make it worse, and a new roof would need. I am rejecting this response as of November 11,2022, we have not seen our RV since over a month, nor sat in it but twice.
Not one update from Dylan the store manager, not once has he called me, nor my husband Andrew like he used to with his promising words.
Recent time line of his many calls:
Andrew calls now, put on hold, as always, busy with all these new customers
I ask Andrew to reach out for a status, a week since the last time he has called to get an update, On November, 9th Rubean is the only one whom will call back, not sure why Dylan has not.
I do owe Rubean a huge thank you, the only one who has been honest, tried to let Andrew know when my husband cant get ahold of a human being. He also seen one of the big problems,, he saw and is why he said they are late.
We still do not know whats fixed but a few things, the email I sent all refuse to answer, a simple list, work order agreed to fix, should be easy to scan or put in the email.
If you guys think this is a petty blame game against your company, we dont need to do this, not sure why you are worried, we are Christians, not out to hurt you.

In July of 2022 a purchase and loan was made for a 2022 never used camper from The Camping World in *******. We loved the camper and were promised a walk through and detailing of the camper before it was delivered to our camping site. Had delivery issues due to the company informing us that they use a 3rd party delivery company .(This information was not disclosed at time of purchase ) Once delivered on October 1st, 2022 - we received an incomplete camper with new cosmetic and manufacturing issues.
