On November 04, 2021, my wife and I purchased a brand new 2022 Keystone Alpine 5th wheel trailer from Camping World in ********, ******** for $117,000.00. We were informed that the trailer was winterized by the dealer, so we parked the trailer beside our residence until May 2022. We de-winterized the trailer and filled it up with water for a camping trip on Memorial Day weekend. When we got to our camping location, I turned the water to normal use so that the pump would be activated and when I did water started pouring out from the bottom of the trailer. I immediately called and spoke with the Good *** people as we had purchased the most expensive warranty offered by Camping World. However, they could not fix the issue we were experiencing. We had to use water from jugs to shower and to use the toilet due to this issue. This caused us with two children to have the worst camping trip imaginable. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought a brand-new trailer would have this issue. Camping World has declined to fix the pump or damage caused to my brand-new trailer and have rereferred me back to Keystone who has agreed to fix other issues. I spoke with ******** who has sent the issue back to their service department who was going to contact Camping World in ********. I have called and spoke with **** and informed him what ******** said and he hasn't called or got this issue resolved. I am very frustrated with Camping World and would never recommend anyone purchase anything from them. I feel that they should have fixed the issues, or they should replace my trailer for all of the frustration they have caused me and my wife. We have lost an entire season of camping and we still are making payments on a trailer that is sitting at the dealership.

I purchased a 2022 Thor Freedom Elite 24HE on 9/13/2022. I was told that I could not take delivery until the following week in order to replace a stolen catalytic converter. The part had been ordered and would arrive in a day or 2, with a worst case delivery date of 9/23/2022. I explained to the dealer that I had a trip planned in the beginning of October, and I was told not to worry. I called on 9/22/2022 to check on the status, and was told that it would not be ready until the end of October. Turns out the dealer had not actually ordered the part, nor had they even checked to see if a part was available. After trying to get some sort of resolution, it was decided that the best course of action for both parties would be to cancel the transaction and refund my down payment. Then they basically ghosted me. I tried to get some details on Monday (9/22/2022), and was told that someone would get back to me on Tuesday with the details of the cancellation/refund. It is now Thursday, and I have not heard anything. Now my down payment is being held hostage, I have to maintain insurance in case something happens on their lot (they dont seem to be worried about securing anything), and I had to cancel multiple trips because I am unable to look for other RV options.

I had my trailer in service for warranty repairs. After repairs were complete and walk thru was being done I noticed a window that was replaced was wrong and there were other damages that were not there when I dropped it off. I was also promised pictures of the roof repair by corporate that was not done giving me no guarantee no moisture didn't penetrate into the walls. I noticed a window they replaced was wrong but was told another window was being ordered to replace. There was no explanation for damages made by service or plans to fix damages were ever made(one was colored in). Not to mention that they left it filthy after repairs were made. I have emailed and called main store and corporate office with no return calls or emails. I was promised by sales manager that the general manager would call. I feel I am being ignored and that the damage they did to my trailer isn't important to them. I need someone to contact me and put some sort of plan together and address the damage done by them.

We gave camping world a $500.00 deposit for a trade in on our ****** Fox Camper for a new camper trailer. We shared every detail on repairs that we new about needed on our ArcticFox . When Camping World came to pick up our ****** Fox they came in the wrong size truck! Then they told us that a patch was put on our roof making it substandard, and that they would have to replace our roof. They dropped the trade in value from $21,900 to $14,000. It was this exact camping world that had done the work on the roof last August. In August, 2021 my husband took our Dodge Truck to Peacock, Chrysler, Dodge Dealership to take care of a recall on our Dodge Ram. He warned the mechanic 3 times that he needed 13 feet clearance to accommodate for the camper. Well, the mechanic taking it into the bay crashed into the ** on top of the camper. To repair the camper, Peacock, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep took our truck and camper to the exact Camping World for the repair that they now deem as substandard work. All of the transactions on the repair were handled by ***************** of *******. Camping World states that they called ****** and he refused to have the roof replaced. That's not true! As ****** has pointed out, ******* had insurance to pay for the repair and the call he received from Camping World gave him an estimate on the repair and he okayed the work be done.

CWRV Sales confirmed we spoke with *****************************. CWRV Sales confirms that the work that was done on the Unit by Camping World, took place over a year ago.  Chrysler (which is now Auto Nation) told Camping world to patch the roof, not to replace it.  The location has all the backup paperwork from Chrysler.  ************** wanted to trade the unit and told Camping World it was in perfect condition, but upon inspection the roof needs to be replaced.  The amount for the trade value dropped to reflect the cost to repair/replace the roof. To that end we consider this matter closed.

I am rejecting this response because: the service manager at Chrysler in charge of the repair is still there at Autonation. He has documented that all he received was an estimate for the repair which he authorized. He was never told that the roof needed to be replaced. As he clearly pointed out to us, *******'s Insurance was taking care of the bill. No one from Camping World ever said anything about replacing the roof to him.

Secondly, why would Camping World ever do a substandard roof repair for any client? The work done to repair the roof was done by Camping World. They are trying to cover up their own shoddy work. They owe us a new roof. They lied and tried to tell ** that we refused to have the roof replaced. The value of our ****** Fox has decreased because of their shoddy work. They are responsible for the repair.

      Sincerely,

      *****************************

Customer number *******, Invoice ******. I was charged for work that was NOT done as well as a ameture attempt at a diagnostic. Our power step was not working. They charged me $158.67 to tell me it needed a new motor which was NOT the case. When I got home I plugged into an external power source and the step and motor worked perfectly. Obviously it is an Aux battery issue. NOT the motor. How is it possible that so called professionals could not diagnose this when I did it in 10 minutes? This was a classic case of trying to take advantage of a traveler in a tight spot. I want the $158.64 refunded.

I am rejecting this response because:

They claim to have offered a refund as a COURTESY?  They intentionally misdiagnosed an issue in order to maximize their profit. They offered me a $44 refund which is not acceptable. They only contacted me to get my credit card number which I refuse to give them over the phone since they have proven to be untrustworthy. **** insinuated that it was my fault since I initialed paperwork in a dozen places. Why do they do that? It is a deceptive way to do business. If each initial is a potential charge then they need to present the paperwork in a manner that warns customers that there WILL be hidden and cryptic charges. A $600 plus bill for a $115 part is ridiculous especially since it was a simple turn switch replacement. The so called environmental fee means nothing sine the old part was not thrown away by them, There was no oil or fluid to dispose of. Job 1 as defined by the paperwork is invalid and I should get the entire amount refunded.

      Sincerely,

      ***********************

We purchased a brand new motorhome from Camping world (liberty lake) in January of 2020 for *******. It was a dream of ours (my wife and I) to travel and semi retire. **** worked hard all of our lives to get here. Well, its been an absolute nightmare! Our motorhome only has **** miles on it and most of that is from the repeated trips back to ************ from our home in Northport **. Its been in the shop most of its life. Its currently sitting in our yard because were terrified to drive it because something always goes wrong. Camping world has been nothing but worthless as far as fixing it because it always comes back worse off than it was before. we just want our money back. Financially, we took a huge leap of faith.. now we pay 900+ a month for it and we cant use it. Camping world wont give us our money back for it. They have made extremely low ball offers like ****** less than what we paid for it and its nothing but a slap in the face. Heres whats gone wrong in the last two years. -Back up camera was practically falling out of dash. They fixed it but then sent it back to us with broken heat controls -Ceiling trim breaks every time they try to fix it. -the floor started to lift from one end of motorhome to the other. (motorhome was in shop for several months to get fixed)-Oven wasnt bolted down -after it was fixed it started making awful noises(several weeks back in the shop) - Motor blew for step (3 more weeks in shop) -Generator stopped working -shower leaks BAD, we have to use towels so it doesnt leak all over the floor -curtains started to break shortly after bought - Current issue is that the drain for gray water broke after they fixed the floors and leaked gray water ALL OVER the electrical and now the fridge is broke and were concerned about mold and potential fire hazards. They want to fix it but at this point we just need your help. Were absolutely broken hearted about this and we dont know what to do. Please help.

I purchased a new camper from Camping World in ********** **. When i did the new walk through before taking delivery I discovered defects and missing items that they promised and out in writing would be taken care of but 6 months later nothing has been done. I send emails and they promise action or promise to call me back and nothing happens. I spend ****** dollars and they arent honoring warranty at all. They states the camper came from another Camping World but I purchased from them so it means nothing to me other than i need things fixed. Major water leaking from faucet, windows leaking when rains now. blinds broken, screws sticking out through walls and missing parts.

I was defrauded by Gander **. I bought an ** on July 19, 2022. It was a supposed brand new East to West, Silver Lake 31 foot **. There were rusted staples sticking out and excessive amounts of ************************* in areas, to hold the paneling in place. Stains on beds. Screens that just fell out of the ceiling vents. Drawers that were not secure and ended up breaking when we tried to upstate the slide out. I took the ** back to Gander on 08/01/2022, to be fixed. They tell me that before they sold it to me someone went up on the roof and patched it, due to a leak. I called their people and filed a complaint as soon as I received this report. They NEVER disclosed the leak and still sold this ** to me as if it was brand new. I talked to an ************************* and a *********************** ( who is headquartered in ********) and just keep getting the run around, that the buy back team keeps denying the buy back. Purchase of a ****************** on 7/27/2022. Had multiple issues from multiple departments at Camping World and have expressed concerns with management multiple times. First the Sale's Representative gave us incorrect information regarding our unit and communicated incorrect information with their financing team. The Finance team had multiple team members asking the same questions and was disorganized. When I went to sign the paperwork, the loan officer had printed the incorrect paperwork with another persons confidential information on it and presented that paperwork to me. I had to instruct him that it was the incorrect paperwork for the transaction. When we arrived to complete our walk through we did not have a technician scheduled so they had asked someone to stay. As we walked the unit we were rushed through and found out that the generator was not properly working and stalling. I expressed my concern about that matter and did not want to move forward with the paperwork, only to be told by the maintenance team that they would get it working. The loan officer said that if it didn't work there would be no recourse for us as a customer. We were told it was a loose connection on the generator and was good to go. After the purchase, we continue to have generator problems and found out the washer/dryer unit was broke and leaking. We scheduled an appointment with the service department only to be told that we have to pay for the repairs on a unit they should have had everything working. We have been trying to get this matter resolved for over 2 months now and still no resolution in site. I have heard other horror stories with this Camping World location and we are experiencing it first hand with multiple departments. This Company is disorganized and takes advantage of its customers. I am seeking a credit for the washer/dryer and the malfunctioning generator to go to another service company that I can trust to get this fixed.

I was sold a back up camera for my RV under false pretenses. I use the back up camera once and it does not function as it was described. I went back to ask them to remove the back up camera and reimburse it. I have a one-year warranty on the back up camera. They refused to do so and refused to refund my money.
