Purchase date was 5/29/21 *************** SLX 236TH. On 5/29/21 once arriving home, I tried to enter the trailer. The door did not want to open and appeared to be caused by a siding warping issue which was very noticeable. I took photos and I notified camping world of the issue. I took the trailer to camping world on June 12, 2021 where it sat with no resolution nor a date to fully look at my RV in sight so I picked it up. I dropped it back off at camping world on Oct. 26th, 2021. I was notified on 4/15/22 my coach was ready for pickup. On 4/22/22 I went to pick it up. Camping world had not fixed the structural warping siding issue (which had been discussed multiple times with multiple people in detail with photos provided). At that time, I refused to take my trailer off of their lot. The concern I have is the service associates who came out to look at the issue did FINALLY see the issue and expressed concern because there is no structural members to secure the siding to where the issue is occurring (between awning arms on door side). Camping World told me they would reach out to ***** in regards to how the work needs to be done and to start the approval process. On May 4th Jayco informed me Camping World had ordered parts for the repair and would like to do the repair when its warm out. I picked up my coach on 5/20/22 because camping world told me the metal was going to take a while to be delivered and would do the repair when its warm out. On July 18, 2022 I was asked to supply more photos and siding measurements which I did along with warping photos. On August 16,2022 I received a phone call asking if I could bring my coach in so they could measure the siding. I agreed and took it in on August 18,2022. When I was there I asked the service manager why I needed to bring my coach in when the parts had been ordered. He stated because the parts had not been ordered yet. The service manager stated he would keep me posted a. It is now August 29, 2022 and I am done.

There is a lot of information so I will try to keep this short and sweet. ..I had bought a brand new 2022 trailer/camper from camping world in May 2022. undenounced to me and my wife(being brand new to owning one) we found out that the roof was bad and had been bad since it left the factory(Heartland **) We took it in for some warranty work in July and the rep noticed the issue. we heard them say it was never inspected when it arrived nor after we bought it. I tried getting out of the contract originally and just put us into a different unit because we were told it was probably leaking since it was made. Both companies have refused and only offered to replace the bad roof meanwhile we are having to pay our monthly payment and not be able to use it . we purchased early so we could use it this summer. This in turn could also hurt my resale of the trailer in the future. I have also received the runaround since we purchased can barley get a return phone call and now they have had the ** for almost 2 months with nothing getting done and no timeline. I have never felt as a consumer it was right for me to have to accept a brand new damaged product that we didn't know about, not to mention any water damage that *** have occurred since it left the factory. It is not right. I started taking notes after every phone call, email and face to face interaction. This is only part of the issues we have had. where is the account of liability or Merchantability. , which means that the goods or services are fit for the purpose intended. The camper was not fit for it's intended purpose with a bad roof!

                 Our Case #: 03835925

Camping World RV Sales, LLC (CWRV Sales) is in receipt of the above-referenced consumer complaint (the Complaint) recently filed with your office. We take all consumer issues very seriously and appreciate your office bringing this matter to our attention.

CWRV Sales confirmed that the Camper is repaired, and we are contacting ******************** to schedule pick up. CWRV Sales will absorb the costs not covered by the limited warrantor and manufacturer Heartland RV as our gesture of goodwill. To that end, we consider this matter closed.

I am rejecting this response because:

I have not had any calls pertaining to parts arriving, work being completed, no guarantees on no water damage since leaving the factory and no calls to schedule pickup. This does not solve the issue of selling a trailer damaged from factory and forcing a customer to accept factory damages. Also no compensation for selling a damaged camper that is new and not getting to use all summer. Trailer is not even worth the ********* plus now due to this factory flaw and cw not inspecting the unit!

      Sincerely,

      *******************************

I purchased a 2022 Raptor 352 from this organization and have had multiple issues with the product. The generator stopped working, the leveling system was defective, almost tipping rv over, vinyl floor damaged by too long of s**** in slide, solar system not connected properly. At the last visit 3rd time to fix these issues, the following occured. I picked up the Raptor yesterday and wanted to let you know what I found. Batteries completely dead Leveling system was not fixed even though module replaced. When I tried it, almost tipped trailer over again. The exact same problem. I wonder if the technician even checked it and if s/he did was it rechecked at a later time? Vinyl repair was excellent. Generator does not start and why after months of being there am I now told that you don't have a certified technician and I need to take to authorized dealer who will not look at it in a camper so I will need to remove the generator and take it to a dealer. Why wasn't this told to me months ago and why don't you have a technician if you are selling this product. My power cord was replaced with a used one, I asked that my original be put in trailer. It was not. No mention as to where the replacement fuel gauge is or tracking of it. Why can't a part that has been ordered be tracked. Whole experience has been disappointing at best. While not the fault of gander rv in Albany, this unit was a lemon.I then reported this to the camping world executive with no response from them or dealer. I tried to have dealer purchase the vehicle back but offered very low amount even though only used once.

I purchased a ******* High Country 5th wheel ** for Approx $70K on 5/26/22 Upon taking possession and utilizing for a family trip, we discovered numerous issues and concerns that affected the safety of my family. See list below. I demand camping world buy back this LEMON at full price I paid. After my purchase we slept 3 nights in it and discovered MANY issues. After discovery , we dropped off unit at Camping world for inspection and repair (1 week later). It has been many months since the unit was in my possession. I am unable to use the ** for intended purpose, yet Im paying for this with my money via loan and down payment. If its never in my possession whats the point of taking my money?! If this happened to a car owner, it would be considered a LEMON. *************************** and his team at Camping World need to buy this ** back immediately at the same full price I paid for it. I demand my money back! This is fraud!!See some examples below...there are more not listed.- The ** unit did not work and we were driving through the dessert - Things in the unit were falling apart; the ceiling fan broke off and nearly hit my 4 year old in the head - We discovered water leaks in the unit - There were loose nail everywhere and on one side of the trailer there was a hole puncture from faulty manufacturing process - The center of the floor had a s**** coming up which was a tripping hazard and ruined the vinyl floor, and my toes - The slide outs were faulty and ripping the vinyl floor - The cab storage units were faulty and not locking properly - Paneling and faux wood trims were coming apart throughout the ** - The kitchen backsplash fell off completely - There were holes on the control panel door - The left slide had a s**** improperly installed which caused a puncture in wall and in the rubber seal - The 7 way plug connection was not attached properly and was loose I have tried to work with corporate to buy this back but they are not returning my calls.

I am rejecting this response because: It is September 9th and I still have not heard from the business in regards to the parts that were supposed to come in on September 7th. I bought the ** in March and have not been able to use it at all because the ** unit is not working. I had to cancel two planned vacations and I had to pay out of pocket for a hotel room for my vacation in August, because Camping World said they fixed the **, but when I went to turn it on that night to go to sleep it did not work. It was 97 degrees in there so we had no choice, but to pay for a hotel room for two weeks. It completely ruined our camping trip. It has been in for repairs for the same issue three times. I would like my money to be refunded or I would like them to give me a new ************

Purchased 2019 Grey Wolf in December 2018 with addition of extended warranty, paint protection, and gap insurance. I could list everything that went wrong with the camper and lack of service from every department in the company but at this point I just want a refund for extended warranty for the camper I sold in April 2022. Since April I've talked with multiple people about refund and finally at the beginning of August I was told by Manager of the store that I wouldn't receive a refund because I used my warranty too many times for repairs in the past so I don't qualify for a refund. The manger stated that he couldn't understand why I though I was entitled to the refund because of the money I saved in repairs. I explained the repairs needed were due to faulty equipment on the camper and were covered by my warranty. I asked if he stood by his statement I would need it in written form and was told he'd talk to Regional Manager and call me back. It's August 26th and I haven't heard back from him. They have multiple avenues to contact me. I've tried to resolve this issue without going to this extent but failure in communication and clarity from management this is the only option that I have. I'm asking for help with this issue and ****** RV to do the right thing with this matter.

I called camping world and spoke with ****** who places orders. I placed an order for a generator for my wedding with her and even paid extra for over night shipping. She garentee me it would be here the next day. Well it didn't show up so calling customer service to see what is going on and they said another person *** she called me the day it was supposed to be here to confirm something. I absolutely did not get any call or email and then they tell me there is nothing they can do the cN ship it out but it would be a few days later for it to arrive. They were horrible on the phone to me wasted time and money for nothing. And now I have to wait several days for a refund because they screwed up. This is the worst place to go and I will be letting everyone know not to go here.

On 4/1/22, we dropped off our 2020 Keystone Cougar 5th Wheel at Avondale Camping World because the tv antenna booster box had gone dead. We also had a leak under the kitchen sink. There were many excuses being told to us as to why it wasn't getting done - really a simple fix. 7 weeks later, we picked up the 5th wheel on 5/12/22. We were charged $74.50 for labor and could not find the kitchen sink leak. The workmen added 2 fuses to the trailer - we have NO IDEA why as we had no electrical problems. Finally, they replaced the antenna booster box. We went camping and had serious electrical problems. The batteries were boiling -- luckily, I heard & smelled them or we could have had an explosion on our hands. The slide started to move very slowly. So, we made an appointment to return the 5th wheel to Camping World (no choice because of our warranty - or we would have gone somewhere else). After 3 calls, we received a call from **************** **** ******* telling us the converter was bad and would have to see if warranty covered. 8/23/22 at 3:52 pm ****** called to say the 5th wheel was done. My husband went to pick it up at the scheduled time, 11:00 am on 8/24/22. He wanted answers regarding the 2 fuses and their necessity. When questions started to be asked, he was told that the 5th wheel was not done, they made another mistake. He also was told that the technician who worked on it in Spring had been fired. I also had sent an email on June 9 to our customer **** ********* requesting all of the information be provided to the Service Manager and Store Manager which she assured me had happened. We want our trailer fixed properly as electrical issues can be dangerous. Why were the 2 fuses added? When is our trailer going to be truly fixes? We would like our $74.50 reimbursed considering the technician who worked on our trailer was fired, and obviously, incompetent. When does Camping World take responsibility for all of the things that have gone wrong?

We bought a motor home from them in March. They informed us all appliances worked. The frig was shot, the living room ** did not work and we are trying to get Someone To look at the therma heat. We have kept all receipts. The ** was over $3,000 alone. We had to add wood to fill in around the frig. We also hired people for help. My husband has one leg and I was in the hospital for a month. All they will tell us is to bring it to them. We absolutely do not want to do that! We feel they should pay us for everything we are paying out on it. They are owned by Camping World.
