We purchased a 2022 keystone outback camper from camping world on July 19th. On the very next day we called them to let them know that the air conditioner was not working properly, so they send a technician out and he said nothing was wrong, well he was wrong so they send more technician out they had nothing as well to find issue. So on July 23rd we took camper back to camping world and left it with them, two weeks later they said camper was fixed. So we drove 3 hours to get camper and when we got it home we still had same issue so we called them back and they said they would come get camper. Well they took it back to South ******** and now they say that the air conditioner is bad and they will have to order another one, So in the mean time we have to be without a brand new camper and there are a lot more issues we have told them about. We had to cut our vacation short because they couldn't repair our issues now it's August 16th and the camper we are paying for is on the sales lot we shopped at to me that's not the way you treat people I have tried to contact the *** of camping world but no luck at all even the corporate office ignored my voice. I want to report this and something should be done to a company this big for doing poor people this way. Put yourself in our shoes we work hard and just want done what's right. So please helpBusiness Response

I attempted to contact Camping World via email 8/12/2022 with no response to date (8/23/2022).Excerpt from email sent:The people at Camping World were great to deal with, which is VERY important to me. I appreciate their commitment to the customer and they were great to work with. However, my frustration lies with the fact that I purchased an extended warranty when I bought the camper at Camping World. We paid $1,995 for a 72 month service contract. (7/15/2018, No. 3004976).WORK PERFORMED 8/11/2022 Gutter seam (Job #2, WO *****)One of the items fixed on my current service was a gutter that needed a seam repaired (work order *****, Job 2). This same section was addressed as warranty work 4/6/2019 (customer work order #*****, job ****** technician stated "the gutter seam wasn't properly sealed and need to sealed properly".The cost for this service was $108.90.Awning cord (Job #1, *****)The second item fixed was the awning cord - this hold the awning over my slide into the roller. The cord was coming out of the one end and ultimately would have failed without service. This awning was purchased at Camping World when the camper was new and put on the camper by Camping World technicians. The technician stated, "...moved rubber bead back into place. Had to add a small section of bead because original wasn't long enough". My evaluation of this statement is that either the product or the installation process caused this cord to come out of the awning roller. The cost of this service was $223.70.I believe that both of these services should be covered either by warranty or the service contract that I purchased with the camper. I can't say that either of these are normal maintenance items the owner should be responsible for or the problem was due to anything that I did as the owner.Business Response

I purchased a 2018 Cherokee ****** Wolf 5th Wheel RV from Camping World on 8 May 2022 and at that time I thought a Mechanical Breakdown warranty might be a good investment. So for $3800 it was included in my loan. After reading the extremely detailed points in the warranty I decided it was not going to be a cost effective investment since the majority of the items covered were for motor homes. Since I was fully within my rights to cancel the warranty at any time, and I was still within the first 30 days of signing my contract, I called ********************* at Camping World to cancel and get a full refund. I tried talking me out of it but I insisted and he sent me the for form to fill out, sign and return on May 26. (See email attachment)After a week went by I had not heard or received a confirmation from ******, I called him again. I said he never received it. So I forwarded the original signed cancellation to and followed up immediately with a call to make sure he saw it. He confirmed receipt and said it would take 4 to 6 weeks to get the refund.I STILL have not seen the refund applied to my loan so I called yesterday, 8/22 to talk to ****** but the receptionist said he was off. I asked to speak to ********************* and she said he was with a customer. So I asked for the General Manager. She said she would have one of them return my call . That was yesterday. It's now the afternoon of the 23rd and I still have not heard from anybody at Camping World.Business Response

I purchased a 2021 bullet trailer from camping world in *********, ** in 2021. We took the trailer out several times for short family trips. Our first trip we found water leaks, trim pieces falling off, and the fridge not cooling. We took the trailer in at that time and had the leaks repaired and the fridge looked at which we were told was operating normally. We then took it out again but still once again lost food due to the fridge failing. Talked to the salesman (***********************) and we were told we need to research before we buy trailers to know what to expect and how to operate them. This is not our first trailer, and we both have grown up around trailers. Then august 2022 we took a 1.5 week trip loaded up the trailer and fridge with all the food we needed since we would be miles away from stores. Well without fail the fridge stopped cooling and we lost all our food. After driving into town, getting ice and new food, and losing the other food we were in $1k for it all just for this trip. It ended up that we were the ones not the dealership that had to research and find the problem ourselves. We found that the trailer was supposed to have a roof vent for the fridge but it was not installed or even prepped for it to be installed. There were other trips that we had taken and lost food on those as well. Now our concern is what else was not built properly or installed at the time of the unit being built? Will it be done correctly that it is safe for our family still? Why wasnt the missing equipment caught during the *** that was paid by us? How was this missed at the factory? We have lost faith in this unit being safe and reliable. I spoke with a sales manager at camping world who said he would do some research and reach out to corporate to see what can be done, and radio silence. I also contacted corporate and was told I would Be contacted by a manager from the store and still nothing!Business Response

Our 2022 Enlighten is falling apart. We have had 2 ruined vacations so far this year! The only two vacations we have had. We purchased it at Camping World in *******, **. We purchased the camper in January 2022. Finally, in May we were heading to ***** on our first trip. On the way there we had problems with outside trim was loose, the bathroom toilet pipe leaked, bathroom sink pipe leaked, the window screen kept falling out, the on/off panel on the refrigerator fell completely off, the water heater did not work at all, the break away cable broke off. So, we looked for a Camping World location in the area we were traveling at the time and there were none. When we finally reached our destination, we went out for the day, when we returned there were puddles of water all over our bed and leaking from the ceiling. We had to make other arrangements for sleeping but had to call a repair center to come out to our campsite so we could get it fixed so it did not leak any more while we were on our trip. Again, no Camping World close by to call on. We called *************** Center. They had to come to our site for repair. On our way home we had issues with the brake wiring also. While we were out, we notified Camping World at Hanover to discuss all these issues, they were not sympathetic to our troubles at all. The manager gave us a hard time about having someone other than Camping World do repairs, he stated that he would not guarantee reimbursement because of this. We have had another trip and many more issues we have had to pay out of pocket.Business Response

I purchased an rv from Camping World in April. Everything seemed great with the entire process until we brought the camper home and set it up. Upon closer inspection, the rv was filthy. They seemed to only clean the parts that could be seen. There was trash and dirt under the couches. The bathroom drain had hair and dirt clogging it up. We had been assured it had been given ******************* before we left the lot and seemed clean when we did the final walk-through. We called the salesman who profusely apologized and said we could bring it back in and they would clean it. We already had it set up 30 miles away so he said they would send us a gift card. We never received anything from them and never got a return call after leaving a message a couple of months later. Very unprofessional service.Business Response

My son and I arrived to pick up our Axis Thor on the appointed date and time at 3:00 PM on August 20th. We arrived early, at 2:15 PM. *** appointment was called and set up on 16 August. We asked for the ** and was told they would have everything ready shortly.***n, the file we left with all our papers with the office could not be found. At 4:00, we told them to just stop looking for the file, but now we know they were hurriedly putting the caulking and new seals on the roof. ***y were still tacky/sticky when my son looked at them with the sales rep. *** work had clearly just been done while we waited. According to the paperwork, it was done on July 1st, which is a false statement on the invoice.*** ** was left on June 3, 2022 and we told them we would pick it up in August. We did. 1) *** batteries were supposed to be replaced, they were not.2) *** One Control, which would have been covered by the warranty, was not repaired nor replaced.3) *** entire roof was supposed to be sealed and coated. It was not. It leaks like a sieve and rained in on us when we were on our way home. It is leaking much worse than it was when we brought it in.4) *** electric box was left open and dangling, and when a man was asked to come out and put it right, he left wires hanging unattached and hurriedly put the box cover back on, stripping out the bolts with a torque wrench.5) On the inside, there is a rip in the driver's seat that was not there when we left it.6) *** fuse box was left open and dangling, so I replaced the cover myself.7) *** smoke detector was left open and dangling, I put it back.8) When we left the **, it had **** miles on it and I cleared the trip gauge. When I picked it up it had 464 miles over that and the gas tank was on 1/4. It was on 3/4 full when I left it.9) I was charged $1,486.10 for the sealing of the **; work which was not done. I want my money back and I will take it to a better dealership. I will never use this dealer again.Business Response

On June 18, 2022 I purchased a travel trailer from the dealership and on the way home the tag wasnt installed by the dealer. We tie strapped the tag in the back after another driver told us we were going to lose our tag. I saw the tech lock the trailer with his own keys but didnt know Id have to try the keys they gave us. The next day we discover we cant get into our locked trailer with the keys they gave us. We called and told them about the tag and the keys and a missing rear bumper cap. They said they would look into it on Monday. For well over 2 weeks we were unable to get into the trailer. They told us different stories that they were going to mail the keys but then they didnt know which keys went with the trailer. ***************************** from the dealership told us to get a local locksmith to get into the trailer and send them the bill. The locksmith had to replace both cylinders. I emailed the bill to them and now they dont answer emails or phone calls.Business Response

I called and talked to ***** he said we can either fix the water damgae OR give you that slide topper. I told him that was already promised to us from the June trip. He said well thats what I have to offer you. Even though again I have pictures of the water damage the 1st time we went Camping. We had another trip planned in July 4th week so ***** told us not to bring it in to get everything fixed till the day we leave the campsite and instead of going home just take it straight to camping world and drop it off. So camping world sent pictures of the fridge and freezer that had defrosted because that is what we were told to do since we work full time and didn't have another time or day to take it up there. So there fore they made it look like it was our fault warranty denied it, I reached out it was denied again even though I have pictures of what it looked like before hand with the date on it. So now we're paying for a brand new 2022 heartland mallard that is falling apart and won't be fixed properly when it wasn't my fault instead of camping world taking responsibility and making it right.Business Response
