I bought a 2022 Sports River Tent Camper this past Saturday, ************ failed to provide me the converter and solar panel that was supposed to come with the purchase I paid full price for. They are saying that those items are not included but my neighbor has the same camper which included all items, even the paperwork shows the items were included from the factory. Well on July 19th we purchased a new 2022 keystone outback camper. On the air conditioner was not working properly so we called camping world they sent technician out and he said it was ok. Well we called them back and they sent another technician out same thing to make all this short they have yet to fix this new camper I have uploaded several pictures Im just sick of this kind of treatment. I have call the corporate office and have yet to get anywhere, I have contacted local tv stations this is just a few problems with camper. So please please help us with this matter.Business Response

I purchased a camper from them, stated it was ready, noted several problems BEFORE signing the paperwork...NOTHING has been taken care of but the water leak issue that we supposed to be fixed immediately... these stall tactics are becoming increasingly time consuming. We purchased a new E-pro camper on 7/30/2022 from the Camping World in *********, **. In signing our financial documents, there were charges and services that had not been discussed or presented as an option. The first was an $1,800 clear coat seal and the second was an extended Good *************** (~$4k). In the moment, they seemed like requirements of purchase. We have since requested proof of the seal and the seal's warranty. We have attempted contact with the Finance Manager, *****************************, on numerous occasions by phone and email (8/3, 8/8, 8/15). ******** has not provided us with proof of the work done or the seal's warranty. We have also requested to cancel the extended warranty and receive a refund (either paid to us or applied to our loan), but she has not produced any resolution.Business Response

On September 18th 2020 I purchased a 2014 Winnebago ****** ****** 31K. The ** hadA defective awning and As part of the sale agreement said awning was to be replaced. Due to ***** I was told it would take several months to get depart in and to follow up again in January 2021. At the time of my call in January 2021, I learned that the dealership had been Sold and no longer under the ownership of factory direct marine and **. The New owner would not honour the agreement. I requested a refund and return to Camping World of Chicago the 2020 Keystone Cougar 30rls I recently purchased for $44,385.00 based on not delivering on the product agreed upon for the agreed upon price, delivering a defective product, and excessive misrepresentation of prices and products by employees of Camping World of Chicago. I got no response on how to return the camper since my request on 8/6.Salesperson ************************* said a solar system installed in the camper would allow me to use everything in camper on solar power including the refrigerator, **, outlets, lights, pumps, etc. would cost $3,936.18 and emailed a S&I ticket on June 13th with a cost of this installation for $3,936.18 including labor, solar panels, batteries, etc. I questioned ******************** because it didn't include an inverter. ******************** explained to me that because this camper was "Solar Ready" it didn't need an inverter and he repeatedly said he'd talked to someone in the service department and this was all I needed to run the above appliances on solar. Under this assumption I agreed to purchase the camper with the understanding that Camping World would install the solar system for the agreed upon price. I purchased the camper on June 29th and I spoke to ******************** on this date to verify the amount of the installation and he said installation would take about 2 weeks. ******************** called me a week later and told me the solar parts were in but they had accidentally only ordered one lithium battery and it would cost about $1200 more to purchase the 2nd battery and this solar system would not run the electrical outlets in the camper, that I would need an inverter and it would cost me about double the quoted price. He said this system would run everything else in the camper including the ** and refrigerator, it just wouldn't work for the outlets. I received my camper July 30th and after it was home found solar didn't run the ** or refrigerator. This is not what we agreed on.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I am rejecting this response because the automatic leveling system was not working on delivery of the camper, but a Camping World employee said that the problem was caused by a loose wire which had been fixed and that the problem was fixed and that the leveling system would be working properly in the future. If I had known that there was going to be an ongoing problem with the leveling system I would have refused delivery on the camper on July 30th which is my right. However, due to inaccurate information of a Camping World employee, I was sent home with a camper with a defective leveling system which makes it impossible to use the camper. As soon as I became aware that the leveling system was not working later that week, I did request to return the camper and receive a refund and had the camper taken to ******** Camping World as soon as I was able to get towing service through Good *** Roadside Assistance. The ************************* Warranty Act requires that the leveling system be fixed within a sufficient period of time and I was told that the leveling system couldn't be fixed because they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it at the ******** Camping World service department. Therefore under the ************************* Warrant Act I can expect a refund. The leveling system did not work on at least 4 occasions: July 30th, August 4th, and twice on August 5th. 3 of those occasions happened at a Camping World facility. The Uniform Commercial Code law also states that a legal revocation of a purchase can take place if a customer did not know of the defect at the time of purchase and learned of it later or the customer knew of the defect but was assured the problem would be fixed. I was told that there was no problem with the leveling system at the time of delivery, that it would work properly as the defect was fixed by tightening a wire. These claims turned out to be false and therefore I accepted the delivery of the camper under false pretenses.

We decided to sell our house and buy a camper* While in the market we decided to check this place out in May and made our purchase June * Not only did they take advantage of my husband and I they left us homeless* It's unlivable between the terrible tires they let us leave the lot with to the sliding floor that had sunlight peeping though but the ac unit doesn't work ( not to mention its a 40ft) the worst part is they let us leave the lot without telling us that the camper they originally told us was **** is ACTUALLY ***** so nyctruck I bought after cannot pull this trailor* It has been sitting parked since buying it couldn't even live in it * They refuse to accept responsibility and help us * I made a case with camping world they called and told me that ***** from ********* told her that the camper he sold us for full time living isn't for that* I'm now having to go to a diffrent camping world and sell the camper I originally bought for ****** 2 months ago for *********** and now have to finance another ***** to even have a place for my kids and I to live* I'm not asking for cash I just want to have what I should have had from the beginning*Business Response

We had service completed at Camping World in ******, ** slide adjustment and *** (Roof Preventative Maintenance). The work was done incorrectly for the *** so camping world gave us a "voucher" for a another *** to be completed at any location. We began experiencing leaking in our rv after the slide was "corrected". We brought the rv to the **********, ** location to look at the slide and redo the preventative maintenance. The *** was "completed", the first storm, water came pouring into our skylight. Our seals were not broken or destroyed when we brought this into ******, ** which was verified by their tech. Due to water sitting where we could not see it, our floor began turning soft. We contacted camping world and immediately they pointed blame to each other, said policies were not followed and it turned into a blame game with the result being that they offered a refund. We filed with our insurance and they will not pay due to lack of "maintenance". Now we have thousands of dollars in damage possibly tens of thousands with no one taking accountability. We would like our damages repaired and us made whole by Camping World or Camping World to pay for the issues they caused.Initial Complaint

i dropped my unit off over a year have been in communication via email and phone. they kept passing my service to different advisors due to some getting fired and having to explain the whole story over and over. i reached out many times to them via email and phone and no response. i keep getting oh they are busy, or not available, then get hung up on. many times, they have called asking how to start my unit because they were negligent. this has gone too far. i am so tired of this place. please help.Business Response
