      On July 3rd I placed a large order for ******** cat food through the Rural King website. The cat food was at a good price online and it showed in stock for picking it up in store as well as having some items shipped to store. July 4th I started receiving emails canceling items in my order. I received more cancelations on July 6th. I checked on July 6th on the website and it still shows the items in stock for the prices I was originally charged. This is the second time I have tried to order cat food from Rural King and my order was canceled.

      I placed an online order with this business and cancelled the order on the same day online; however, the business kept $12.99 from my total refund stating it was for shipping. There was never any shipping. It was all done in one day on the weekend.

      ****** *** ****** ***** ********** **** ** ***** I bought a side by side (ATV). I only drove it about 80 hours. The timing chain broke in the motor on it. It was still under warranty. I took it up to the store and they were to fix it. It shook so bad, I couldn't even drive it. I told them to take it back, they have it now. I have been making payments on it, but don't have a repaired side by side. It's been up there close to six months. I called today and they gave me the same excuse, waiting for parts. I paid $13,000.

      The customer's ATV is currently in the shop under repair. We had
      to wait on parts to arrive after initial parts that were sent were incorrect.
      The timing chain replacement and valve damage have been corrected. The shaking
      that the customer has issues with could be a result of damage done to the ATV
      because upon replacement of the parts further damage was uncovered. The
      following is what has been discovered since its arrival.

      The front end has sustained substantial damage.
      Universal joint for the four-wheel drive is in need of repair. Multiple broken
      welds on the skid plate. Multiple missing and broken bolts throughout.
      Appearance of suspension adjustments made to the ATV. The ATV itself was
      dropped of to be repaired in a state of disassembly . We are unable to refund due to the damage that appears to have occurred outside of warranty work.

      Purchased an RK37 Tractor from Winchester, KY Store in 2021. In early 2023, the tractor shut off during operation, and would not start. I brought the tractor back to the Winchester store for warranty service. The mechanic began the encounter by basically stating that they would not cover any repairs under warranty, and alluded to the fact that the corporate policy was extremely strict regarding warranty repairs. He contacted me later to state that the radiator had failed (a small plastic port had broken off, causing the coolant to leak out). As a result, the tractor had apparently overheated, causing catastrophic engine damage. Mechanic advised that they cannot repair the tractor, as it would need a new engine, and they are unable to obtain engines. I escalated this to the store manager, and then to ******* Gannon, the RK Tractors manager. After several back-and-forth exchanges wherein ******* provided incorrect or misleading statements made by the mechanic, he has now ceased responding to my emails. The store still has my tractor, and apparently has no intention of resolving the issue with this $30,000+ purchase.

      After inspection and diagnosis by multiple Rural King
      mechanics it was found that the Radiator of Mr. ********’s **** was damaged by
      an impact causing all of the coolant to leak from the tractor.  No defect
      in the radiator was found.  Mr ******** was shown the point of impact and
      informed that was the reason for failure not a warrantable failure in materials
      or workmanship.  Further evidence of impacts was apparent on the tractors
      oil pan.  When asked how all these impact marks happened Mr. ********
      stated the tractor was stuck in a creak and had to be pulled out by another
      piece of equipment.  Mr. ******** then insisted on purchasing a new
      radiator and trying to fix the tractor himself. 

      The  customers self-repairs of the radiator failed to
      repair the tractor.  The tractor was then further inspected by Rural King
      mechanics and found to have suffered a catastrophic engine failure due to it
      being overheated when all of the coolant escaped the damaged radiator. 
      The customer was again informed of this and that the repair was not warrantable
      as the damage was caused by damage and then failure to discontinue use further
      resulting in a unrepairable engine.  Multiple engine components have been
      damaged each of witch together will exceed the cost of a new engine. 

      Mr. ******** has insisted that the radiator is defective but
      that is simply not the evidence seen my the mechanics that have worked on the
      tractor.

      Mr. ******** will have to authorize and pay for the
      replacement of the engine.  Or pay for diagnostic work done thus far and
      take the tractor home as is.

      In November 2020 I purchased a Hison 750 UTV from RUral KIng. After getting it home it required mechanical repairs about a two weeks later. In December of 2020 after the UTV had been at the Rural King shop for a month I called the store to find out the status of the repairs. I was then notified that the UTV had been stolen a couple weeks prior to my call. I wasn't notified in a timely manner and fought with the coorporate office for months before it was finally replaced. In April 2021 I received a replacement UTV. After receiving the replacement I have had to return it multiple times for reapirs. Each time the shop has kept the UTV for 3-4 months. The UTV is a violation of lemon laws that are in place and I am requesting a refund. I have notified the Coorporate office, but this is unnacceptable in any business practice and especially from such a large company. I just want my money back so I can move on from this and find something I can actually use on my farm.

      On or about November 2, 2020, Mr. ******** purchased a
      repossessed RK750 Hisun UTV owned by DLL for $6,572.00.  The vehicle was
      sold “as is” pursuant to the purchase receipt and agreement.  At the end
      of December, Mr. ********’ brought his vehicle in for repair.  On December
      23, 2020 the vehicle was stolen from Rural King’s premises.  The thief
      broke the lock and cut the security cable to take the UTV. 

      Mr. ******** worked directly
      with Rural King’s insurance adjuster.  To say he had to fight with
      corporate is untrue.  At no point was his claim denied. Our Director of
      Risk Management and myself worked on this case directly.  We ultimately
      resolved the case, in the interest of customer service, by providing the
      customer with a new RK Performance UTV Crew 750
      Camo with EPS with a retail price of $12,499.99.  Mr.
      ******** was given a new vehicle worth $5,927.00 more than the one he lost and
      the new vehicle had a full new Hisun vehicle warranty. 

      Rural King’s return policy does not allow return of gas or
      diesel-powered items.  It is my understanding the Hisun warranty has
      expired on Mr. ********’ vehicle so any repair will at his own expense. 

      The vehicle is currently two years old and has been used
      extensively, to request a refund is inequitable. Rural King is empathetic to
      Mr. ******** complaints, but Rural King has gone above and beyond, to its
      detriment to satisfy Mr. ********.  Rural King appreciates Mr. ********’
      business and values him as a customer but has no obligation to provide him any
      refund and will not offer him any other compensation.

      The date of purchased is 2 years or less. The amount of money spend is over 10,000 for a electric UTV I purchased from Rural King in Dothan Alabama. This is my second complaint with you all about the same issue. A defective equipment that was supposed to be fixed. After I reached out to you all about it, they got right on it. But the code stayed on the vehicle. And at the time they said that they didn't know why the code was still showing, but they got it to work. And they informed me that they would be looking on why the code was still on it. Now 6-9 months later the same thing happen. But this time it burnt the battery and if we didn't find it in time it would have burnt down the house. The reason why I'm saying that is because of the plug that it was plugged up to is specifically for charging the vehicle. And it had a burnt smell as well as burn residue on the cover of the outlet plate. After the one incident I really didn't want to have the run around like before. So, I purchased another battery similar to the one that on there. Because the ones that are on there are 578 a piece and there are 8 or more. I called them and told them that after doing all of that. it's still not working. I then took it to them. And the first thing that came out their mouth is that it's not under warranty no more. I insisted that yes, it is because it wasn't fixed from the first time because again the code stayed on there. Now we have a melted battery and a possibly structure damage if left unattended. I left it there and it's been there now for 4 to 5 months while I'm still making payments. Now they did call and said 2 weeks after I did drop it off that they didn't know what was wrong with it. And to come pick it up. I told them I will pick it up when its fixed. Again, I don't know what else to do. My Name is ***** ******** ***** ****** ** ********** *** ** ******* ** *** ****** **** **** ****** ******* *****.I would write more have no more run. please contract to fix this problem

      I am responding to the action that was said about the UTV. I am not in the position to say that this will get resolved. My fear is that once this is resolved I'm still going to run into the same problem. Like I stated before. This is the second time I had to get you guys (BBB) involved to get some kind of action. I pasted by for months going to my cancer doctor seeing my UTV parked to the side like my unit wasn't that important.  I not asking for special treatment.  But a little report on what going on with it. I have enough stress already but just a little  Consideration about what I spend and time that has passed. Because if I can be honest.  In which  possibly this disfunction UTV may have possibly set my home on fire. That is scary.  I pledged to company to replace my unit for a gas unit. Same price. And I seen some with the same or lesser price. I brought this unit because me and wife needed a way to get around our property because we are disabled. Its been a life saver. That is when it working. A replacement would be better.  But looking at how much I have put into this unit. I'm not looking for things to be settle fair. But I had to try. Attached to this is the burnt battery and the battery i brought.  I was informed that I did buy the wrong battery.  But our income can't afford 600 per battery.  Again it would be easier having a gas power unit. I was talked into purchasing this because the manager at the time said that this one was the only one that got and the gas units would be in 6 to 9 months.  Which was false. Because a week later they had 8 or 9 in front of the store. But whatever.  All I can do is wait and ask for  Is compensation for a battery I can't return and the replacement due to the unsafe battery condition all electric vehicles are having on people's lives.       6/7/2023, 6/8/2023, 6/9/2023 Attempted to order ****" Resin Whiskey Barrel Planter - BAR18523 each time. First the barrels $8.39 each I attempted to order 4. The order was cancelled and they were supposed to be shipped to store in ***********, **. I then tried 2 of these. That was cancelled yet their site showed 2 available.. I then went online yesterday and they dropped the price of them to $7.00 each. When I called the other day they claimed that they did not have any in their warehouse and their website is "Not Live". Well how are you dropping the price and showing some in stock but cancelling my order ? This is horrible customer service. Hold the order till some show up. Don't just cancel it. Email the customer and let them know they are on order just not currently available.

      Agri fab pull behind spreader. 110 pound capacity. Purchase date May 5, 2023. Cost $186.42. Order number *********. I purchased the spreader specifically because it had 110 pound capacity. I have a large yard. When I got the spreader it was completely disassembled. once I got it assembled and put one , 40 pound bag inside the hopper it nearly filled it to the top. I reached out to Rural King through several emails they contacted Agri fab. Verified the product number and said yes that is 110 pound capacity hopper however it will not hold 110 pounds of every material. I responded it’s not even remotely close. that is an unacceptable response. It is false advertising and deceptive at the very least. The material I was putting in the hopper was as fine as sand. I even offered to return it even though I had spent time building it. If they would just upgrade me to a larger hopper that would better fit their description of 110 pound capacity. They refused. I have several email correspondence between myself and Rural King that I will gladly send if necessary. The emails from Rural King on two occasions quoted Agri fab saying their hopper will not hold 110 pounds of every product. I know what they’re trying to say some products are more coarse than others and there may be voids in the hopper. But the product I was using was like sand there were no voids there were no cavities in the hopper is not even close to 110 pounds.

      I spent $180 approximately for this.  No one is going to put sand in a hopper but people buy these to spread fertilizer and weed and seed in there.  I am getting no where is that they are not willing to upgrade me.  I haven't been reached back out to and they could send you an email.  You would be willing to resolve the issue.  I'm not accepting that it would hold 110 pounds and this is very deceiving.  I am not asking for anything special.  I just want what they advertised.

      I have bought over 250 chickens from rural king in ******* over the last 6 Months I had a problem a couple times with diseased chicks that died and got my other chicks sick I told the ******* ruralking about it they finally refunded me my money for the chicks I went in the store today to look and they said I wasnt aloud in the store because they had to refund my money for dead chicks how is this fair they have me a number to the hatchery but still why wouldnt I be aloud in store they was really rude to me In Front of my 5 year old daughter said I wasnt aloud in store because of the chicks refund I think Im going to *** them I bought the chicks its only fair they give me my money back how can this make me not aloud in the store I buy chickens about every week gave them a thousands of dollars then they do my like this.

      this has been a rural screw up . first i ordered ********* a tow behind 100# spreader/aerator and it said 1/ 2 days to ship . felt good about that purchase so i ordered 2 40# lawn fert at70$ ********* the next day (sunday) ..site said in stock so my wife went out of here way to got marion ohio to pick up and they said sorry were out ? what the hell then asked about 1st (006362125)order to see if we can pick up instead of shipping--they could find order--waste of time---so then i complained wednesday 4/13/23 to casey @530pm that u said 1/2 days shipping ad now its the 3rd day and no one even processed it. oh guess what it now shipping next day (today 4-13-23) fine .. ONLY to find out you sent the wrong thing..cmon someone get this together please. attached are pics of the box with the upc ' IT clearly says 85#tow behing spreader period NOT 100# tow behind spreader aerator..please correct asap. thank you for your help .
