      The employees and managers know nothing about their job. They know nothing about their departments. I've seen more job skills from monkeys in the zoo!! Nobody knows anything about customer orders. They know nothing about the product they are selling. They basically know NOTHING!!! I've tried to purchase chicks 3 times. First was sent the WRONG chicks. They don't even know what they sent me. Was assured twice at least that they would have the right chicks ready for me. AGAIN, NOBODY KNEW ANYTHING!!! I live an hour away from your store. Husband went out of his way again to pick chicks up that NOBODY AGAIN KNEW NOTHING ABOUT!!! REALLY?????? I WILL NEVER AGAIN PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM YOUR SO CALLED BUSINESS!! I WILL USE TRACTOR SUPPLY BECAUSE THEY HAVE A TRUE BUSINESS!!!You need to work on your employees. They need serious help!!

      I found Rural King to be a poor company to do business with. They dont seem to know what is going on within their company & when/if ever they will have and ship your items. I ordered some Herbicide on 3/24 & will feel lucky if I receive it 3 weeks later.

      Don't know how Rural King is still in business. For over 3 years, I have tried to reach corporate customer service and could never do so. They will put you on hold and never pick up then eventually they will disconnect and hang up on you.All a person has to do is look at all the terrible reviews all over the internet. They are every where.And a few replies from Rural King which, in my opinion, are total lies. If their customer service is so good then why are they so afraid to answer their corporate phones?Oh and by the way, they are committing outright fraud with "bait and switch" prices that increase at the register. It never changes. Some on should *** them on that alone. The only companies that I have ever seen stay in business with such terrible customer service are money laundering business.The only reason I gave one star was because I did not see a lesser rating star.

      False Advertisement of Winchester 20ga Shotshells No 8s. Price advertised at $53.98/flat. I and many members of our club received emails stating that they were encountering challenges in fulfilling the order. After providing payment /credit card info this company screwed us!!

      I ordered a fertilizer/seed spreader on 2/1 to be delivered to my home. As of 3/6, not once have they offered information as to why it hasn't been shipped or any other information. I have made two phone calls and four emails only to be told that it usually ships within 5-7 "business days." My second phone call suddenly became disconnected while I was on hold. Never did Rural King make any attempt to re-contact me to give me any further information. They have charged my card but as of today have not shipped the item I ordered.

      I have purchased many items at Rural King in **********, **. Often the products are of inferior quality but also have a low price tag. I recently purchased several bags of Pelletized Lime. There were many very large chunks of lime in the bags which, of course, would not go through the spreader and ultimately broke the spreading mechanism. I took two bags of chunks back to the store to let them know what an inferior product they were selling. The "alleged Manager" showed absolutely NO interest and threw the bags and chunks into the trash. She apparently does not even know the words "I am sorry that this happened". If she worked for me she would be looking for another ************ like her certainly should not be in a management position! As I was walking out of the store she said it was up to me to contact the supplier (a place in KY). With that wise comment I decided that it was my final visit to the store!

      Followed their return policy rules to return an item that didnt work out for me. Was like pulling teeth trying to get them to send me a return authorization label. Finally got one when the return timeframe was about to end. Refund was issued, but was for $6 less than what I paid for the item. ($11). To add insult to injury, I initially had to pay $15 shipping on a $17.99 item. Then they wanted me to pay another $15 to send it back. So, basically, I ended up paying $26 for a $17.99 item which they are now back in possession of and I have nothing. Terrible! Dont do business with these people!

      I am very disappointed at Rural King for their misleading advertisement in an email I received. I purchased a thermal scope, which was advertised as having color mode, return home and notice that it was the wrong scope. They advertised a combo deal $999 for the scope and they give you a rifle. The scope they advertised shouldve been $1000 with color mode and without color the cost should be $799. So long story short, I end up with a rifle I dont want and RK refunds me $738.85.

      Poor customer service and will never shop this chain again. Online order recieved email confirmation and payment, received second email showing one item shipped. Called customer service confirmed both items shipped. Recieved email an hour later only one item shipped. Called to cancel, that's not an option. I will never shop or buy anything from Rural King.

      well, let me start by saying I am a loyal customer and shop there at least 3 or 4 times a month. In December 2023 my husband bought me the ***** Kitchen 10 piece cookware. Which I was excited to receive. However, the box was in immaculate condition, but, the pans were warped so bad that they were not able to allow a lid to set on them. We returned them to our local store for a refund/replacement. I asked of the employee if they could special order them and was met with a gruff "no we wont do that." So, I went online and ordered them. However, the website would not accept my home address so I entered the address of my Mother in law. The system would not accept my home address for billing either. Once again I used her address. I place my order originally on the 2nd of January ****. Upon not receiving any news I called customer service which I explained that whole mess to and tried to get her to fix the billing address she ignored me an said no it should be fine. I called again on 8th of January and they said give it 2 more days. I wrote a email explaining the mess then was sent a email telling me my order was cancelled due to billing address issues, when I tried to get them to fix it. I am disgusted with your process. I feel like i was ignored and talked to rudely by the local store manager.
