      Increase my payment without notification and was not What was agreed upon when signing up. Also extremely terrible customer service.

      A month ago my car was totaled by someone who has Allstate coverage. Allstate was excellent in my situation. They were swift on getting everything in order, picking up my car and didn't insult me on the payout on my 2007 ***** Accord. They made a stressful situation much easier to process and move on from. Very grateful.

      This is one of those reviews that begins, "I would give zero stars if possible." The car was wrecked on 18 Oct 2024. Allstate insured my car as well as the other car. Even after Allstate determined the collision was 100% the other party's fault, they have yet to notify the bank that the car is totaled. Because of this, the bank wants their payment and Allstate has the audacity to bill me for another premium. I had a visit to voicemail heck today trying to contact anyone from Allstate. Over 20 phone calls and voicemails to Allstate and finally got a single callback with more empty promises of taking action tomorrow. I even left a message with two of my agents' offices to no avail. Since my agent is a State Senator, I called that office too. (Voicemail again, no callback yet.) I have 4 cars insured with full coverage for $636 monthly. I don't know how accurate it is, but Progressive's website is quoting $227 per month. Even if they have poor service, I can't imagine worse service than Allstate.

      Allstate is the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. I cancelled my auto insurance policy in 4/2024, and they prematurely terminated my insurance policy resulting insurance lapse. After endless calls, chats and emails they finally were able to reinstate the policy and got my registration reinstated. However, when the policy got reinstated, they did not terminate the policy based on my request date and let the policy expired on the renewal date. Long story short, I got a mail from credit collection services saying that I owed them money. I called Allstate again, provided them requested documents (when my new insurance with other company started) and they said they will get back to me. Received an email to call them, which I did and talked to an agent and he said the issue had been resolved, and balance on my account will be removed. A month later, I am still getting letter from collection agency and I called again, now Allstate is telling me they don't have a record of my call, and I still owe money. This is such an awful experience with a company that cannot be trusted and should not be in business.

      The Allstate advertising is very irresponsible. I hope you will change to something more appropriate for good driving practices.

      Extremely deceptive sales practices. Won't give you a quote until you've created an account. Once you've done that, they just carry on like you already signed a policy, sending you mail, etc.

      On 9/27 our home was struck by a large hickory tree taking out the ridge beam and damaging the structure of the second story of our. At 6am that morning I called to file my claim. On 9/30 I received a call to schedule our appt with the adjuster. That appt was scheduled for Sunday 10/6, we waited with the roofer for 3 hours but the adjuster never showed up. When I called Allstate to figure out what was going on they proceeded to tell me that an adjuster was never assigned to the appt and the next available appt time wasn't until 10/15. Keep in mind that the front of my our home is open to the elements because the bricks had fallen off leaving our attic open. The next day I received a call saying that I had an adjuster appt for 10/13, I didn't question it because the appt was sooner. The adjuster came out on the morning of 10/13, he took photos and had a separate man go up on the roof but he did not go up to assess the damage in the attic. He told us that wed hear from him that night. We did not. I called him that following Wednesday and left a voicemail, I got no response. that Friday 10/18 I called again and also sent an email, I got no response. On 10/21 ****** called and said she would be reaching out to the adjuster and gave me her direct line. I never heard from her again and she did not answer when I called. On 10/22 I reached out to the office that holds my policy and ***** escalated things for me and the following day the adjusters manager (***) reached out to me and told me he would reach out to the adjuster and see what was going on, he gave me his direct contact information. I never heard from him again and he never returned my calls. On 10/24 the adjuster (****** ******) called to tell me he had finalized the claim. We were to receive $25,600. The amount we were given is'nt even close to the amount that we need to repair our home. The bill for tree removal alone was $14,000, that leaves me with basically nothing for the structure, roof, & brick.

      We live outside of *********** and over the summer of 2024 we had severe weather and at least 5 tornadoes touch down over 5 months.. we turned in a claim in June or July and just today get an estimate to replace the front slope when the entire roof is damaged and they do not make the shingles any longer.. the claim including siding that was damaged but was not mentioned in the estimate.. We went through 4 different claims adjusters due to lost or misplaced paperwork or emails.. during this time had several more storms with heavy rain that caused damage to interior walls and ceilings5 months to say they would pay a little over 3000 ..this is unjust and they should pay for a complete roof especially if they are willing to pay part when they don't make the shingles any longer.
